There is NO way that the reviews on here are real or maybe they are better at restoration but when it comes to construction/remodeling Dryfix Services are THE worst! I've had them working in my home now since October for a job they told me would be done, Dec 5th. It's almost February. I can't even begin to explain everything that has gone wrong but here are the highlights: Sales guy named Sergio who promised the moon and the stars, all was a lie. Contracted a guy named Manny who would never show. Ambiguous quote that the owner Jaime could not stand behind and has tried to go back on several time now. Project manager, Chris as much as I want to like the guy, promises only get you so far. Workers have chipped my new vanity, cracked tiles, scratched my new toilet seats. They couldnt even center a showerhead in one bathroom and the hot water comes out cold in my other shower because the faucet was installed wrong. Has issues with countertops being installed. The first bathroom was not supposed to have a backsplash because I had a tile wall behind. The second bathroom needed a backsplash because there was no tile behind. Of course, they got both bathrooms wrong! It's literally been like this almost every day of the project. Everyone points the finger at each other while the owner Jaime has his assistant Gabriela send invoices for material costs that we never agreed on because they overpromised. No accountability. No time management. No respect for working Mom. The only guy who has done a good job is the tile guy Eduardo who has to keep coming back and redoing work because the other workers can't get the job done right the first time. I've literally never had a vendor drive me so insane in my life. Everyone warned me that contractors can be terrible but never in my life would I have imagined the stress this company could cause me. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere, no matter how cheap their quote is or what other reviews or even their references (I called) say! read more

Dryfix is better than Home Depot Design Center Chris and Jaime did a great job of communicating with my wife and I from start to finish through or condo remodel. Dryfix gave us a huge selection of vinyl flooring and carpet choices and we used them to paint as well. Our place came out looking GREAT and we'll be using them again for future projects. read more

The most unprofessional and poor quality job we hired in redoing our newly purchased house. We got Dryfix to completely demo and redo our shower. We are disappointed as every step of the way there was something wrong that needed to be fixed. The shower door is not fully caulked in some places. I have to go buy transparent caulk and do it myself now. Overall, none of the edges look very clean... It looks more like a DIY job than a professional job. The details are part of the job and things like the counter needing to be caulked, the shower door needing to be caulked, tile/grout edging are pretty basic things we would expect. We are concerned that the bathroom is not waterproof because of all the cracks in the caulk. When they first painted the walls, no painters tape was used and the edges between the walls and ceiling were messy, they had to paint twice more to fix these edges. As they were touching up the shower area there is more paint going over an edge that I will have to paint over now. I had to ask that the baseboards be replaced when they were cut to fit the original vanity and huge gaps were showing with the new vanity. Originally the vanity was off-center and they had to replace it. The sink is still not centered by 3/4 inches!!! Is it just really hard to center sinks? I also had to ask them to caulk the sink properly several times over since there were gaps there too. I had to ask them to redo the caulk three or four times and the caulking is still spilling onto the tiles and walls. The grout was placed very messily and the tiles aren't perfectly even. The project took one month longer than agreed. Some of the delay was out of their control (the shower door came late) but most of it was because they had to repeat jobs that were done incorrectly to begin with. They left the extra tiling materials out in our yard for 2 weeks and there was plastic taped to our floor for one whole month!. After last winter's rains my hillside began to move, I needed a retaining wall. I got 4 bids, Dryfix was not the lowest but they were fair & very competitive. Their bid was the most detailed in its description of the work and materials needed and also the amount of time required to complete the project. I had no experience in this area of construction but my neighbor did and he was looking over my shoulder during the entire process. He helped me look at all the bids and pointed to Dryfix and said, "I would go with this one". I am so happy that I did! Their work was solid and neat. They left my property undamaged from any equipment and completed the job on time. They kept every appointment and were always easy to reach via the phone. Chris was my "go to guy" and he was great. Top-notch remediation and restoration services. Expert, responsive, highly professional, and caring customer service. The owner and his crew are nothing short of amazing. They created order from chaos and worked under challenging weather conditions to get my rental property safe and restored. Particularly beautiful results on their drywall ceiling work. First of all, they got back to me right away. I needed to have my garbage disposal replaced. They scheduled a Saturday morning appointment for me as I requested. Not only did they put me first on the list (so that I could get on with my day - I had let them know that I had a lot going on) but they showed up ten minutes early and had the disposal installed in about 15 minutes! The technician was very polite and even made sure I had the wrench for moving the blades and how to use it. I'm having them back to fix a few more things at my house. Very reasonable too. We were unfortunately part of the Carlsbad fires this past May 2014. Thank goodness for Jaime, Josh and their peeps. Not only did they do a phenomenal cleanup for us, but they went above and beyond and made life simpler and better. They rebuilt our fence, gates, etc and because they did such a good job, we had them do additional work in our home. All of their workers have been courteous and do a great job of cleaning up before they leave for the day. I have found them timely and always call with any time schedule changes. I can't say enough good stuff....no hesitation to give them a great reference, I can say with conviction that you won't be disappointed! read more

Chris and Jaime did a 7 bath remodel including master shower and bath, along with bar countertop and counter replacement. It was a difficult project with an older home but Chris did great as a project coordinator to communicate any issues and find multiple resolutions, he was also there most days the crew was worked by to ensure quality. I started the process and design of my room addition w/full ADA bath almost a year ago. They walked me through the process and were very patient as I went back and forth with the permit process. Chris was my assigned Project Manager at the beginning. He provided me a great cost estimate! He was very flexible and did his best to make my project affordable. My room addition should be done today. I am excited and impressed on how it all turned out. The employees are great and very responsive. Carlos (the Construction lead) is wonderful. He has great attention to detail and does great quality work. He is very knowledgeable and always explained to me what he and his workers were doing. He incorporated some very practical constructions solutions that made my addition more efficient and spacious. So far, I have gotten to know the team very well. They are hard working and honest people. Although the last few weeks stretched out a bit longer than I would hope, the owner Jaime, has made up for the time lost by going over and above to make sure that my husband and I are happy. I know I was not an easy customer (I changed my design plan half ways through and asked a lot of questions), but their patience and willingness to please me was impressive.
