None the less, Jeremy emailed me a bill for the job as work completed. I reminded him by email that he wasn't engaged for the work and, of course, did not do the work. Not sure if its incoherence or dishonesty and would have left it at that, but just received the same bill in the mail. JEREMY, if you really think you did the "Pond in Ground Power" work, give me a call. If your memory returns to reality, cease and desist with the fraudulent bills.

The 2 guys showed up and were in and out in under 30 minutes. They did not treat the dog pee areas and had to come back out a few days later. A week later, the smell is still in the carpet. I called back and talked to possibly the owner, who was extremely rude and how he spoke to me suggested I was a bother to him. I was told that I should get rid of my dog since it is 12 years old. Who suggests this to a customer? My dog has no health issues and acts like a young dog. I just wanted the area treated properly the first time. I had my carpets cleaned 2 years ago by Kettle Moraine Professional Cleaners and I didn't have any issues with dog urine smell. I used Syl's based on suggestions from friends. I will not make that mistake again.

I learned a lot about how to clean my dryer and vent thoroughly, through chatting with Furkan during his first visit! They are not stingy with knowledge or recommendations; it's wonderful to have honest, local appliance repair professionals who don't talk down to you, but actually educate. The cousins determined that it was going to be a $500 transmission/gearcase repair; they recommended a new washer because of the wear on the other parts inside, over paying for an expensive and likely short-lived fix. We decided to go that route. We're having them come back to clean the coils of our refrigerator next week. I could NOT recommend them more highly!

I was looking for advice on a source for a motor control unit for our 12 year old washer; a recommendation on whether to buy a refurbished or new unit from a variety of online vendors. I had determined the part needed through Whirlpool customer service, online research, and watching YouTube repair videos, and was certain I could replace the unit myself. Curt confirmed the part was most likely what was needed, told he only supplied OEM parts, and agreed the replacement was not difficult for anyone mechanically inclined. He informed of the cost for ordering through him, and credited the core charge ($60) prior to my committing to bring the old part back. I thought about the cost and checked online again, but called back to place the order prior to 4:00 that afternoon and had the part installed the next afternoon. Curt was extremely easy to deal with, was very knowledgeable, efficient, and trusting as he left it for me to pickup w/o prior payment. I would highly recommend Curt and A-1 for any appliance repair needs!
