Turns out mice had nested and chewed through some wires in the outside unit and I also needed freon added (we'll look more at that issue in the spring when I'm ready). Justin sealed up the hole in the motor compartment so that mice don't nest there in the future and my house is nice and cool again. I'll be calling Justin for any HVAC needs I have in the future.

I called RTF as they are a 24/7 locally based company I found right here on Yelp. I spoke with a woman who was extremely helpful. She advised me to turn of the heater unit, which I did upon the smell of smoke. I scheduled an appointment with them to come out early Sunday morning. They called me in the morning again to confirm and were here promptly. The owner was the one to come out to look at the unit. Considering that he came out on the weekend, I was fortunate as the weather has really turned to begin the winter season. After agreeing to the cost of repair, he went right to work and was able to get everything done pretty efficiently. I was surprised that he wiped the whole thing down. It looked brand new after he was finished. Very pleased with the weekend rate, professionalism and quality of work RTF provided. I will be using them to service my heater moving forward and recommend others in need of service to use them as well.

RQCS reached out to me literally moments after submitting the Yelp quote request. They said they could be here the next morning and quoted a very fair price for the work. I wasn't going to be at the property so I had to set up a lockbox - and, take their word that they'd do a good enough job (this was yesterday). Today, I visited the property and was BLOWN AWAY by how good of a job they did. The house looks way better than I thought was possible.
