Originally Bryan and his team were hired to replace the damaged wood flooring, cabinets, and repair drywall damage, but they did such a great job we had them replace the damaged counter tops and paint the whole condo too. They dealt with the HOA's insurance company for us and were a strong advocate for my clients when the insurance tried to cut corners on the repairs. They did an awesome job and when the condo went back on the market for sale, it was pending in just 3 days for considerably more than it was originally going to sell it for. I was able to reach the other sides of my house myself on the ladder to get the job done, but the southwest side of the house was a significantly higher up, due to the slope of my property. I reached out to countless contractors, painters and handymen over the summer to see if anyone was interested/available, and had struck out. Contractors were either already busy, or not interested in the small-ish project (or just didn't respond at all). I had started to price out how much it would cost for me to rent a utility trailer to pick up some rented scaffolding and do the project myself. Then, a friend recommended Straight Arrow Construction. I checked out the website, confirmed there was adequate licensing/insurance on file with the state, and reached out via email. Lon responded a short time later, and stated he was interested in the project, and could complete it within the timeframe I was hoping for (about a month out). The price was reasonable (about $100 more than it would have cost me to rent a utility trailer and scaffolding) and we agreed on some tentative dates that my small-ish project could be squeezed in between other already scheduled projects. Lon arrived on the pre-discussed day, was friendly, and got the job done in about 5 hours (including set up and tear down). He did a great job, and even went above and beyond to caulk/paint areas that he saw needed it and were slightly outside of the area we had discussed. He showed up to assess the chimney in a very timely manner, gave a reasonable bid and scheduled the work within a week. Despite the sad state of my 100 year old chimney Brandon sorted out the best plan, completed the work as agreed upon and the end product is outstanding! Brandon also helped me out by repairing a broken driveway paver because he had the tools with him to do it. Brandon and Jason were considerate of my garden and property in general. We hired them for a partial bathroom remodel- replacing the tub, shower surround and tiling the floor. Initially we were told the job would take 4-6 days but it was about a month from start to completion. They did discover more water damage than we had anticipated but our main issue was with the quality of work. Grout lines were messy, cuts were off, tile was laid incorrectly. They did redo most of the sloppy work at our insistence but I'm concerned that the work behind the walls and under the floor boards is as messy as what we see on the surface. In good faith I could not recommend this company.

Eddie and his crew installed LVT on our finished basement floor and it looks super! They didn't cut…read moreany corners and went the extra mile when prepping the floor. It was quite uneven to begin with (house was built in 1910), so they evened it out with another thin layer of self leveling concrete. Primed that, and installed a vapor barrier to ensure waterproofing. The guys worked hard and were very efficient. One of the best things, for me, is what good communication Eddie had with me regarding what was happening and what to expect, during the job. Guess you can tell, I wholeheartedly recommend NW Flooring!!
