Rafael was referred to my by flooring contractor (Mighty Millworks Floors & More) we have used a few times over the past few years whom are also awesome! Rafael went out of his way, and spent a lot of time with us to refurb our in-laws house to get it ready for rental. Budget was a big factor and Rafael was very helpful in suggesting and implementing cost savings and providing the best value with return on investment; not just for immediate rental value but future value if we decide to sell the property. That's a huge consideration with a limited budget! We had several delays, on our part, and Rafael and team were able to work with us to adjust their schedules to accommodate. Having worked with other contractors, I can say, that is unusual or at least frustrating usually. Rafael worked as the General Contractor for us and was able to coordinate everything and when he felt the bids were high, he was able to either negotiate a better price or get the sub to give a reasonable estimate. having a GC with knowledge of expected or reasonable prices is unquestionably worth the minor extra cost of having a GC; not to mention the time savings for me/us having to schedule/coordinate and arrange for access or meet with contractors etc. I would never do this type of scope of project again without working with a GC; specifically, Rafael. If you are thinking of having, or need, work done on your home, I highly recommend Rafael and his crew!

I called and Terrance came the same day to come to my surprise. Terrance ran some testing for moisture and mold and walked me through the entire process. He had his team at my home the very next morning. JR and Mr. Charlie Brown came in explained what they were going to do and began the work. They explained the testing came back positive for mold and each step of the way showed me what was to be done. When they came across white mold, black mold and what they call gangrene JR called me in to see it all and what they were going to do to get rid of it. JR and Mr. Charlie were AMAZING, easy to talk to, easy to work with and not once did I feel uncomfortable to ask any questions or for further explanation on anything that was happening. JR or Terrance would check in with me daily to make sure I was still doing ok with the equipment that was being utilized and any further needs for the kitchen. JR did impeccable when it came to documenting the work with the day report and with pictures. With all things considered with insurance companies and other delays JR an Mr. Charlie were a breathe of fresh air (pun intended). I couldn't have asked for a smoother process with this company and the professionalism they all possess. JR and Mr. Charlie took their time and ensured the protection of the rest of my home by placing protective plastic over things and on the floor where they would be bringing in and out equipment. If any future customers have any questions on the quality of work they do I hope they contact me. ***UPDATED** So my claim with Samsung went to litigation and after a long grueling process a settlement was finally reached. Now everyone had been very understanding patient with the entire process. When I finally received the settlement check I called dry express first. When I first called i spoke with Keisha Wilkins, I didn't realize that my debit card was expired and it kept saying error or something. (My fault) so I said ok let's use a different card. Well my bank flagged the charges as potential fraud. I called my bank and they said that it was potential fraud and had been attempted to charge the card 7 times within a 15min span so they froze the card and I could no longer approve the charge over the phone but requested I come into a local branch. I work nights and unable to make it to the branch before they closed that day and would go on my way home the next day. While at work and it being late (after 9pm) I get a text from Keisha talking about how she sent me an email of the invoice to pay immediately. Not to mention ILLEGAL to contact a consumer seeking payment at that hour.!!! then again at 8:30 the very next morning talking about as the "accounting manager" how disappointed she was on the issue and how she would be placing a lien on my property if I didn't pay. (Let me just say giving yourself a title to sound important doesn't make you right for the job and she clearly has no skill for the position) When I got to the bank when they opened at 9am the teller informed me that she had ran my card over 20 times and had to issue a new card. I would have said this is the best company I worked with during the process of my kitchen nightmare but due to this Keisha Wilkins person can't and won't say it. To be the last experience I had with this company left more then a nasty taste in my mouth and will rethink my recommendation to others. I don't take kindly to people who are going to be nasty when she made the situation worst by running my card so many times and then be mad about not getting instant payment. Then continue to attempt to gain payment through illegal means and empty threats. (All documented through time stamped messages) Now I have to say the crew that does the work and in your home great people. The office personnel not even close. But I guess that's why they aren't in front of the customer.

    Coast To Coast Restoration

I recently completed a major renovation of my kitchen, master bathroom, and powder room following a…read morewater damage claim, and I couldn't be happier that I chose Coast to Coast. I'm the type of person who is very specific about what I want and I did my homework. I got four different bids for this project, and C2C was the clear winner. Their quote was completely itemized--which I appreciated--and ended up being well under every other retail bid I received. Two people really made the difference: Mary and Bolo. Mary is a literal pro when it comes to the insurance side of things. She worked tirelessly on the supplements to ensure we maximized our RCV payout from our insurance. She caught things the adjuster missed and helped us get the settlement we actually needed to do the job right. Bolo, the project manager, was extremely responsive and reasonable throughout the entire build. Whenever a technical issue came up--even complex stuff like electrical circuit stability or specific plumbing heights--he was there to talk it through and get it handled. One thing I will say for people considering them: you need to be the kind of homeowner who has the capacity to stay on top of the work. If you know exactly what you want and you're willing to stay involved in the day-to-day details, C2C is an incredible solution. It's a partnership, and because I stayed engaged, we were able to hit a level of quality that usually costs twice as much. The house looks amazing (see the photos of the Blue Thunder Quartzite and the Jade tile!). They were fair, they were fast, and most importantly, they were responsive. Highly recommend if you want high-end results without the "luxury markup" of other firms.

This is the second water leak mitigation & restoration we've done with C2C and while the PM on the…read morerestoration portion was outstanding this time, overall, there were more issues with the mitigation than last. Specifically, they subbed out the demo portion to another company which incurred more costs and thus lead to rejection of payment by insurance company. Or rather, it was ruled as costs extending beyond ordinary expenses. Had it been included with the mitigation equipment, the insurance would've likely accepted it, as it did last time. The actual work performed by everyone was great in the end, just as it had been last time. Everything was remediated properly and more importantly, timely. Brandon the PM on mitigation along with David the PM on the restoration side were great, with David being the most responsive and communicative PM I've ever worked with. Meaning, updates everyday, as promised. That was the best part of the whole project for me as an anxious homeowner. I will say that my own insurance agent didn't help matters either in this case. He was super hard to work with and eventually C2C had trouble reaching him. This also soured the whole experience as everyone worked to track him down by phone and to prove that all expenses were legitimate. I'm on the fence as to whether to use C2C again for mitigation. Would not hesitate to use them for restoration though.

I did have at least 6-7 companies come by to pitch their thing, what's gonna happen, how much it was going to cost. In the end I ended with this company and I have zero regrets. Thankfully, I had the best people to get this situation resolved quickly. I worked with Arturo Ramirez (from San Diego)'s team from start to finish. Arturo came to give an assessment of what is going on, what needs to be done, and when they are going to do so. The preparation they did before the work was amazing. I have carpet upstairs and they put plastics on everything so there would be a minimal cleaning in the end. Arturo communicated with me on everything they are working on. After all done, they cleaned everything, they put back my toilet with no issue, the walls are painted and textured. I didn't think that they were cutting any corners or trying to get it all done and get my money and be out. Only small issue I had was the communication about the invoices with their accounting team. I had to call them multiple times to get it updated since I needed the bills split between HOA and me. But in the end they got it all figured out.
