My boyfriend takes his dress shirts and dress pants here all the time. His whites are no longer white, they are essentially ruined what looked new just hasn't after being taken there. Well recently he brings his clothes home and we didn't see what this shirt looked like until we came home. I don't know what has been done to this shirt but it looks burned or something. It's pretty disgusting honestly and an absolute shit job. I'm baffled at what this shirt looks like and of course we took more again and again had to give back 4 shirts to be redone. Accidents and mistakes happen. I'm ok with that. What I am NOT okay with is someone who claims to be the manager trying to blame the customer for said mistake and further trying to "man-splain" said customer in the process. I am also not ok with my garments returning to me in worse shape than I left them. I brought several winter coats in for cleaning. I have had these coats cleaned here before so I had no reservations about bringing them here again. I was at home cutting the dry cleaning tags off of the belts and reattaching them to their respective coats, when I noticed that the buckle on the belt for my down coat was broken. I brought it back and calmly explained to someone who claimed he was the manager (an older Hispanic guy... even though I'm pretty sure that the Indian guy is really the manager) that I've had it cleaned here before with no problem. He told me that they are not responsible for the damage and that they "clean it the way any other cleaners would clean it. We just put it in the wash and, ya know, stuff happens". I told him that my concern is that his staff did not warn me that the belt might not be safe to wash, even though they DID warn me not to dry clean the detachable hood on the same coat. This shop is all too eager to charge you extra to clean a belt on a jacket or coat, but not treat the accoutrements with care (or at least warn you that they might not be safe to clean). The "manager" said, "Well we have a sign and we're not responsible". I told him that the sign is clearly not within a customer's line of sight, and that if the staff were so willing to warn me about the hood, why didn't they warn me about the belt also, or about that policy? He said that the hood was fine to wash. I replied that we weren't talking about the hood, and that the staff took the time to read the tag inside the hood which clearly read, "Do Not Dry Clean". When he realized that I was not going to back down, but that I expected him to actually exercise some good old customer service skills to try to make things right, he starts questioning whether I even had my coat cleaned there, and challenged me to produce the blue dry cleaning tag inside the garment. Mind you, this is after I've been talking to him for 10 minutes. I told him that I'd already cut the tag out and was putting the coat away when I discovered that my belt was broken, but that I DID have the ticket that was still stapled to the plastic. At that point, he started trying to come up with something else to challenge the validity of my complaint. By this point, I am beyond frustrated. Finally, he says that if I find another buckle, they'll replace it at no cost to me. I tell him that I want that in writing so that when I return (not sure how long that will be because a buckle like that is going to be tough to find), I won't have to have this same conversation again with another member of the staff. He says, "Well everybody here knows me, and there aren't that many of us here, so it's fine." (I've been here dozens of times, and I have never seen the guy). I told him that I don't know him and that a verbal agreement would not suffice. I added that I'm not asking him to draw up a contract, but that I would be satisfied if he would simply write down on the dry cleaning ticket what he agreed to do so that no one will have a memory-slip later. He replies, "Well, if you don't trust us, that's fine. But I'm not writing anything." Throughout the conversation he seemed defensive and wasn't listening to what I was telling him. When he responded to me, it was in a condescending, "man-splaining" kind of way... that is, until my boyfriend got out of the car and came inside to see what the problem was. My boyfriend took over and explained the exact same thing to the "manager" that I did, and asked for the exact same thing from him (that he write down what he was willing to do on the ticket). It's funny how he stonewalled me for almost 20 minutes, but when my boyfriend stepped in, he changed his tune and quickly acquiesced. Adding insult to injury, when I finally did wear my coat, I noticed that it was anything but clean. It has small black streaks on the sleeves and sides, as well as an awful, putrid, wet-dog smell (despite the fact that 1.) I don't own a dog and 2.) I keep air fresheners in my closets all year round). It's a subtle stench that I didn't pick up on right away. But as I wore the coat throughout the day, I noticed a nauseatingly awful smell coming from the collar and sleeves. This is likely due to dirty filters in their cleaning machines. This is a very expensive down coat and I had to pay a lot of money to have it re-cleaned because of the negligence of this shop. As you can see from other reviews, they have a problem with both professionalism/courtesy as well as carefully cleaning and caring for your garments. You get what you pay for. Do yourself a favor and find yourself a more professional dry cleaner. read more

Well... they ripped my shirt then claimed I did it. Right... then they finally admitted it was them. Offered me a $25 store credit for a $90 shirt. I needed this reason to start going somewhere else. I was being lazy because it was close. It cost me $90 bucks but my business is going some place else. Cheap is expensive in the long run. read more

Never going here! I had the worse customer service experience. I requested the stitching and cleaning of pants I needed for Sunday and put my pants in the dry cleaners Wednesday morning (5/16/2018.) The cashier never once said I could pick my pants up the same day and the pick up date and time was 5/19/2018 at 6 on my ticket. I have never been to this dry cleaners before and didn't know the office hours and arrived Saturday at 6. To my surprise, they were closed. I made a complaint to the manager who immediately yelled at me on the phone saying it was my fault and there's a big sign with the business hours on the door. I was extremely upset and questioned why the time on my receipt said 6 when they knew they were closed at 6 on Saturdays. The conversation went no where and I couldn't believe that the "manager" of a business was as rude and disrespectful on the phone as "Moe" was. If I could rate this business with a negative 500 I would in a heart beat because of the lack of professionalism and ownership. read more

I used to go here for about 4 or 5 years. The cleaning was ok but they kept breaking the buttons on the shirts. Then I took my slip covers in there with strict instruction to use only cold water. They shrunk them so badly that I had to have them redone with a longer hem skirt. It cost me $300 to get them fixed. I asked if they would split the bill and they refused to reimburse me for anything. Not a penny! The staff is very nice but the management is the worst! I come here often to get large items dry cleaned. Mostly business suits and dresses. Never had an issue with them at all. Never had anything broken nor misplaced. I think they do a good job in getting old deodorant stains off too. The price keeps on going up every time I go. Been to several dry cleaning places around Germantown including Zip cleaners and the pricey one at Milestone. For me, this has been the best for me. My suits pretty much look new and pressed after going here. The staff are friendly, and I haven't experienced the supposed rude staff. I haven't had problems with damaged clothing. read more

The price is no longer $1.39 for shirts. The current price is $1.59 per shirt. The price for suits, pants and other apparels are lot more. The only problem is when they have to clean the collar of the shirts. Sometimes they can't clean it that well. Otherwise I have been happy with them. Service is pretty good.. I would rate this place 3.7 out of 5. By the way, its a CASH ONLY place but do collect taxes. read more

The price is pretty good. It used to be $1.99 for a suit jacket or pant. Now it is increased to $2.29, not bad at all. It is very convenient location for me. Their service is fine. But sometimes, when they pressed my suit pant, they missed the crease and created another one. It doesn't look nice in a pant with two creases. This happened to me a few times before, but not recently. I hope things have been improved. This is a cash only place. read more

Let me start by saying if you have clothing that you don't want damaged, don't use this place. A couple of year back, I took a suit in for dry cleaning. The shoulder area was such a mess that I had to take it back. The owner took no blame, but after arguing with him, he sent it through again, and it came back correct. Just picked up a shirt that I dropped off with no stain, but now it's discolored in a spot and no longer something that can be worn. They claim the stain was in the material and only came out during the process. They claimed that maybe I spilled alcohol on it, but I don't drink. They never accept blame for anything, it's always the customers fault. The shirt they ruined was wrinkled when it was dropped off, but was pressed and wrinkle free, but they said they didn't clean it. I've witnessed a miracle I guess. I took 5 items to the Dry Clean Expo in Germantown to be cleaned and when I picked up my items, it included a men's tie. I pointed it out to them that the tie did not belong to me but they brought out a white sheet that had been completed afted the items had been cleaned and which indicated that the men's tie was part of my order. I was directed to speak with the owner. After several tries, I finally got the owner on the phone. He hung up on me the middle of the conversation. Advice for the unwary. have the clerks upfront note on the pink sheets the type of items you brought to be drycleaned. I am looking for a new drycleaner. read more

For straight, easy dry cleaning, this place is as fine as any other. They can't do anything complicated, they overcharge for anything other than clothes and most of them don't speak English very well. They do nothing special to keep customers and I find the staff borderline rude. read more

Customer service is something that is clearly not important to them. My last, and final experience with this dry cleaner. I get there 5 minutes after they close and see the person who I handed my clothes to and who gave me my ticket. I try to explain to him that I realize it is my fault I am late, but that if I do not get my uniforms I will lose my job. His response was to wave me off and continue talking on his cell phone. When he finally asks me "what do you want" with an attitiude I explain my situation to him. His response is to give me the phone number to the closed cleaners and tell me to call. When I ask him the manager's name to try and get in touch with them because I was desperate he just rolls his windows up and drives off. I've had issues with employees being rude or talking back here and they've lost my items once or twice as well, but I kept going back because I was a college student and the prices were great.
