She made sure my dress was cleaned and pressed as quickly as possible, and she communicated with me throughout the process to make sure everything was ready in time for graduation. She was so kind and professional and truly helped ease my stress. Leslie was also incredible because she was able to get the stain out of my dress and took care of it right away. I called to ask about a few prices. The person who answered the phone seemed rushed and just rude. I mentioned being a new customer and really not knowing about the services or pricing. I thought maybe the person would take at least 2-3min MINIMUM to explains things to me. She didn't, she just cut me off, gave me the pricing for one of the items, and hung up. Terrible cleaners. They charged me $10 to clean a simple t-shirt and left it at my door with several new stains. They did not leave a note or any other indication that they had ruined my shirt. This was my first time I decided to go to this place despit the reviews. I brought my uniform in and I picked it up Thursday. They didn't even bother to press my uniform. I didn't realize until I left the place and I gave them a call and asked why they didn't press my uniform. They asked if I told the person at the front if I requested to have them pressed. They didn't even say anything about my uniform when I gave it to them in the first place. They just took it and told me to pick it up on Thursday. I needed it the next day so there was no point in returning the uniform. I had to just iron it myself which I wouldn't have needed to if they just did the job properly in the first place. Terrible experience---poor quality, customer service, and communication. I brought my husband's Hugo Boss suit here. When I got home--lovely surprise! ALL 12 buttons on the jacket (4 on each arm, 2 in front) were broken in half or insanely chipped. How do they clean their jackets that ALL TWELVE end up having to be replaced?? This is absolutely unheard of. I requested that the buttons be replaced, and was promised that I'd be shown pictures of the new buttons before they were replaced. I had missed a call from their seamstress as I was in a Zoom meeting, and they went ahead and did it without my permission anyway! To top it off, the manager never apologized, just said "We can xyz for you." Really turned off by their unapologetic attitude for this inconvenience. Will never return. read more

Expensive is not your issue but irresponsible is. I was a loyal Crest Cleaners customer. This is my first-time dry cleaned clothes in this Germantown store. They damaged a Coach nylon puff coat in white. The coat has white jacket buttons in the front, all damaged. Nylon cloth around the button is frayed and have small holes due to the friction with the broken button edge. When I found the damage, I went back, the girl there asked me how many years I've had this coat, I told her around a month, it's the new release of this winter and this is the first time cleaning of it. Then she told me the manager will call me next day morning since she hasn't handled this kind of situation before. The next day morning, the manager didn't call. I went back, another staff helps me leave a message on manager's desk. The next day afternoon, I received their phone call with their SUGGESTION "Since this is a new coat, please deal with Coach about this issue and it's their product quality in question." My first response is "What???" Every coat that needs dry clean will have its first time in dry cleaner's!!! This answer is PERFECT. It can be applied to second time dry cleaned coat and then well your coat is being worn for more than a year, it's naturally worn out! I was definitely not happy with having bought a coat with hundreds of dollars but only worn for a month. I don't want to waste time on a compensation. But Crest Cleaners, as a big company, your service quality should match with the service premium you charge. The cost of dry cleaning this down coat is $28.35. read more

Convenient as it is located in the same complex as Wegman's. Turn around is surprisingly quick ie: dropped off something yesterday and can pick it up today. The only con is that it is pricey. If you pay over $150 for a pair of pants it's probably alright, but for a casual pair of $60 pants -- I will never pay $7.50 again! Just not worth it to me. This was our first Crest experience: Friday delivery - no show, no call. Saturday - We call the Kentlands location because it's 5 min from our house to make sure they were open, and to stop over and pick up our items. They inform us that our items are in Germantown which happens to be 17 minutes from our house?? When we show up, I find someone else's shirt in our order and we are missing two items. One of which was a brand new $150 dress shirt. When I arrive home and inspect the other shirts, I notice black smudges on my white shirt (which has never been warn before)??? read more

Went here for the first time this past week. Little bit of sticker shock when I went to pick up my clothes and paid $8 for a pair of pants and $8 for a tie. Thought their prices were pretty high. Of course they text you and email you when your clothes are ready so someone has to pay that technology fee. The folks working there were nice and the store was clean. I would have given them 3 stars except when I got my tie home I looked at it and the polka dots were all burned off. Not sure if they used too hot of temps or what but either way I paid $8 to have a tie dry cleaned and they ruined it. Should probably have given them 1 star except the people working there were nice and the store was clean and they did text you when your clothes were done. I have been getting our clothes dry cleaned here for a little over a year now and have had a great experience at this location. All of the staff have been helpful and polite each time I go in to drop off or pick up. The clothes that we have dropped off have always been returned to us in great condition and cleaned well. We did have one experience where something needed to be cleaned more to get a stain out and the employees were more than willing to dry clean it again with no questions asked and no extra charge. Needed to have my jeans taken up and called Crest Cleaners in Germantown. I was told that yes they did alterations and given a price of $7.85, and a turnaround time of 2 days. As this is a busy time with holidays at the end of the week I rushed over to the store in Milestone Shopping Center. To my surprise, the woman at the store told me they do not do alterations. I explained I spoke to a man, he was called to the front , and told me he never said they do alterations nor gave me a price or turn around time, but recommended I take them to a tailor in Gaithersburg, who charges more than twice what I was quoted. I thought I may have gone to the wrong place, and went back home to check. I hit redial and the same man answered the phone, the one who said he never spoke with me nor stated that they do alterations.
