Whenever I travel, I always stay a Drury Inn. Amazing service, friendly staff. Very nice, clean room. Drury's staff has never failed to impress me with each stay. Thank You

It was a nice stay, but too bad they gave different information that contradicted each other.

Black hair on sheet. We don't have black hair

We looked into staying at this Drury but did not make a final decision until a couple hours before we arrived at our first visit. We were debating about staying here because we were going to miss the Kickback hour but none of the hotels nearby seem to meet my standards. I had several reservations at different Drury locations in the upcoming weeks and I figured why not add to my rewards! We arrived around 1am on a Monday going into Tuesday morning. My first experience was walking in, only to discover the door is locked and you have to use the phone to call inside for them to open the door. I find it annoying but honestly, I love the security. I was greeted and offered assistance. I said I had a reservation, and was told to show my ID and credit card. The check in was quick and easy. The lobby is huge and they also have a little mart that actually well equipped. There is also self serve coffee in the lobby 24/7. The rooms are spacious enough and the room we chose our second trip was good for both of us being able to work. The bed was very comfortable but of course I found several black hairs . They definitely were not ours-I have dark blonde hair and hubs is bald. The breakfast is one of my favorite breakfast buffets out there. They have the staples that I enjoy for breakfast, plus much more! Bagels, pastries, cereals, eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits, waffles, fruit, yogurt, juices, etc. Since we were working our second visit, we had to eat quickly and get back upstairs for work. I eat slow so I wound up eating some breakfast in between my sessions. The kickback hour is such an amazing idea/concept. It is just as fulfilling as the breakfast buffet! Plus, you get 3 alcoholic drinks to enjoy that are included. There is usually beer, wine, scotch, gin, rum, vodka, and I believe tequila. There is also a soda fountain machine for anyone who does not drink. The menu changes daily for the kickback hour but they only work off of 3 different menus they rotate. Every night, there is a form of potato side and vegetables. As well as nachos and cheese, hot dogs with buns, and some sort of main dish. The overall hotel was clean everywhere I went. There were several staff members who had friendly conversations with us since we were there for a week. There was one individual who was kind of bitchy and condescending but hey, 1 out of several within a week is not bad. We love Drury hotels but we will not be staying at a location if it is longer than a night due to their unreasonable pet charge that is NIGHTLY! $40 friggin dollars a night for my dog to stay with me, even though we did not have housekeeping come in once throughout our stay. There is nothing anyone can say to me that justifies that.

Perfect! That about sums it up! Seriously, from the time you check in to Drury Inn to the time you check out, everything is just as it should be for a guest/customer. First, check-in is always smooth and they answer your questions before you ask them...almost as if they can read your mind. And if you have any more questions...they are more than happy to answer them even though they have probably answered the same question a hundred times already that day. They are so nice and courteous. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have everything you need. Not to mention the pillows are comfortable (this is "huge" for me). The bathrooms are spacious too and they give you a nice amount of towels...no going back down to the desk to beg for more. Plus, the rooms are quiet...you do not have to worry at all about hallway noise or hearing your neighbor's TV. Coffee and Tea are always available in the lobby. The popcorn in the evenings is always a nice touch (and what my guys seem to look forward to the most believe it or not). The evening kickback and breakfast are always over the top fantastic in my opinion. Both always leave me saying "wow". (Oh...Wednesday night was Chicken Alfredo along with some other items.) A wonderful place to relax is out by the pool or spa. Both are the perfect temperature and are more than ample in size. Lastly, there is plenty of parking and conveniently located near I-75. Final Note: My family and I love the Drury Inn and I highly recommend them without hesitation. They have that magical "something" and have "it" figured out while offering all they do at a fair price. We appreciate it very much.

First time staying at Drury. Check-in was easy and efficient. We were told about the free breakfast, as well as evening snacks and 3 drinks that were included. Many hotels have stopped those services during Covid which I think is why this hotel was so crowded/popular. Breakfast was buffet style - they serve you, there are plastic barrier up and you can either stay there or they put in a container for you. It was very efficient. We came up for a football game so the hotel was crowded which made me nervous with Covid. There were quite a few people without masks and crowding in elevators. There were only two elevators which surprised me for the size of the hotel and there was usually a line for the elevator. We arrived a little after 5:30 and there was quite a large line (not socially distanced) waiting. I realize this is not entirely the hotels fault but they seemed understaffed. When we got back after the game they have a little pantry area where u can buy drinks and snacks. Five of us were waiting to buy some items and we waited 10 minutes and no one ever showed up to man the front desk. The rooms are a nice size and were clean. The sofa area in the family room was very worn out. The beds were very comfortable. Overall a good stay and I would stay here again

Great place to stay on way home. As always, the Drury never disappoints. The staff was friendly, and always had smiles on their faces. Our room and the common areas were all clean and this includes the workout equipment (which is a rare thing in hotels these days)-they even had wipes to clean the equipment! Happy hour was great and they had 2 options of fun drinks to boot! Price was very reasonable and the manager consistently checked on us with a smile on his face (his last name is Drew-or maybe his first- but thought that was funny since he works for the Drury :)

Outside it is storming. Thunder and lightning too. Inside the Drury Hotel it is cozy and inviting. For weary travelers there is a wonderful hot breakfast awaiting you and many may be surprise but also a hot dinner too. The dinner buffet here consists of some snacky foods and wine. Hotdogs with toppings, nacho chips and cheese, salads, chicken noodle soup, veggies, baked beans, baked potatoes and pulled pork sliders. Not bad at all. Breakfast is equally good. Hot coffee seems to be available most of the day and they have this cute old fashioned popcorn machine and bags to carry this warm, crunchy snack. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. My bathroom was spotless and all the regular stuff is there. My only slight complaint is that I forgot my toothbrush and this year I've discovered they are now charging for a toothbrush. Oh well, times have changed. The Drury Hotel is a good place to rest a weary head and if you don't like the break buffet or if you miss it, there is a perfectly good Waffle House right across the street.

Another review I swore I wrote. Even thought we reside in Ocala, we have stayed here twice in the…read morepast year when my husband had to depart or arrive at Gainesville Regional Airport. We have stayed at another hotel in the past but it is not part of the Hilton brand. Both times we stayed here, the weather was colder. The first time, we used the fire pit outside and the fireplace in the lobby was on but not the recent visit. I was looking forward to that. We had a digital key and I arrived prior to hubs, with no issues. The room was clean but there were no regular coffee kcups- just tea and decaf. I unfortunately did not notice that until the morning but was smart enough to bring my own. I used the shower first, which the cold water was almost non existent. If I turned the dial maybe to the 11 o'clock dial, it was not scolding my skin. The water also felt very slimy, which I believe means the water was soft. We had credits to use so after I picked up hubs, we went to the bar in the lobby for a couple of drinks. There was only one employee working and he was super busy. There were a lot of patrons there so we ordered drinks from him in between him taking care of others. We were enjoying ourselves lounging in the lobby and were able to order a second round. Their lobby is very nice and cozy. We requested a late checkout when we were done and told 1pm. Hubs paid in advance for the breakfast so we headed there around 10am. When we checked at the front desk, one of the breakfast staff informed us they did not have much food left. I thought that was messed up because breakfast is not included so there should be plenty of stock. The kitchen dude cooked us up some eggs and bacon, which I think was the last of what they had. We also checked with the desk to assure we had the late checkout, to which the employee gave us an earlier time. We then reiterated what was given to us the previous night and he put it in the computer. Shockingly, housekeeping knocked on the door of course at noon and we had to tell them again. We do like this hotel and will consider this location the next time we stay in Gainesville but will not pay for the breakfast and I will have to check immediately entering the room for supplies. The staff were professional and friendly so that is always a positive attribute.

**UPDATE** After speaking to customer service, they DID credit me some hilton rewards point. So…read morethey DID make up for the stay. Grateful for that** Immediately upon arrival there were young kids playing baseball in parking lot, parents got upset that I wanted to get through to park car...that was the beginning of the end...went in to check in and noticed they were hosting A LOT of kids baseball players. I asked if I left and didnt check if if they'd NOT charge me as I didnt want to stay in a Hilton with a lot of screaming obnoxious kids. Clerk said that NO they WOULD still charge me. OOOOOK then. Then mid conversation with desk girl, some rude dude stumbles up to the front desk asking where the bar is. Front desk cuts off my conversation and tells him where to go to meet his friends. Like what?! You're checking me in...why cater to that type of person when you're already dealing with a guest? There were limited rooms available so I was on first floor. The room itself was great...except mini frig didn't work (apparently common in gainesville) However, within minutes of being in room with door shut I could hear and feel the thumping music and kids screaming. I was there on a BUSINESS trip. I detest thumping foul music to begin with but especially at a HILTON! I expect more than that. I've never had this problem or any problem at any other Hilton other than now the 2 in Gainesville. I was advised by the front desk that "quiet time" starts at 11pm. That's pure insanity and totally unacceptable. In the morning when I checked out the gentleman that was at front desk asked how my stay was. I replied "awful" He wanted to know why. I proceeded to explain and he made excuses the entire time. Told me "That's Gainesville. A sports community." blah blah blah. I don't care if it's Gainesville or anywhere else, when I go to a Hilton I expect peace, quiet, quality otherwise I could stay at a grotesque Motel 8 or some nasty place. Ironically though I've now stayed at 2 different Hiltons in Gainesville and apparently "it IS Gainesville" equates to low quality, substandard service and accommodations. The other hilton was gross/nasty/maintenance issues but quiet...The Garden Inn Hilton was opposite...clean but loud, rude and obnoxious. After this stay, I've decided I will no longer be doing business in Gainesville because it's apparent that the Hilton's there don't meet my expectations like they do in Ormond Beach, Daytona and other areas. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY and wish I had driven the 300+ miles home when I was done with my client on Saturday instead of staying...had I known how bad it was going to be, I'd have gone ahead and lost my $170 for the night and driven straight back. TOTAL FAIL on Hilton.

We chose this hotel due to price reviews and looked nice in pics. It also had a 1 bedroom suite that had a pull out sofa in living room so didn't need to get to rooms since our son is an adult and didn't want out to all cram into one room with two beds. The lobby looked nice and made our way to room. Dropped off luggage and went to eat. Upon our return we noticed there were only three pillows in the room and they were on the smaller side. I went down to ask for more pillows and was told they didn't have any since they were all locked up in housekeeping and they left at 5. It was 530. She the proceeded to tell me she could give me a blanket to use????? I told her there were 3 adults and only 3 pillows and she to recent neck and shoulder surgery I needed to prop myself up so asked her if she could ask manager to open housekeeping. She informed me they were also gone. I then asked if she could get some from a vacant room and she said she would ask manager. She went into the back and a couple minutes later came out with two more pillows and said this was all they could do. Wait so you did have some??? You lied??? How many more were back there??? I went back to room very irritated and was informed there was no sheets or blankets for the pull out. Mind you none in room. Went back down and got those. Thinking this place had worse service than the motel 6 I stayed in 20 years ago I then discovered there was a smell of sewage coming from toilet. Due to what time it was and how tired we were from traveling we just put seat down and shut the doors. Stay away from this place. Pay more it's worth it trust me. In all honesty I would take a 6 over this place.

Unfortunately, when we were checking in, there were no rooms available on the side of the hotel away from SW. 13th St.. The hotel was renovated recently. You would've thought they would've put in double glazed windows, and noise muffling Blinds. They did not. I was not able to enjoy the breakfast buffet due to Surgery the next day. But my husband said it was good. Seeing that sleep is crucial before a stressful day. This brought my rating down four stars.
