My son has been going to Mr. Burd for about 4 or 5 months now and I must say I have been very…read moreimpressed! My son went in with pretty much zero musical knowledge, could barely keep a beat and never had attempted to read a note or even really play any instrument. Hes progressed to a level where I know in a few months more time he should be able to sight read music easily. The lessons are filled with the level of instruction needed and no minutes are wasted. Be sure to leave time everyday to practice at home, because the more you can progress yourself, the more Mr Burd will be able to teach you, I wish my son could give more time to practice, but even at his level of less than an hour per day, you will see improvement over time. One of the best parts about using Mr Burd as an initial piano instructor is his absolute focus on proper technique and hammering in the importance time after time, some young minds need to be told a few times, and he really makes sure you are 100% competent before moving on to the next important thing.
