She says without a doubt that Stephen at Dolce is her favorite instructor of all those she has had. She enjoys her lessons and he is really good at communicating with her. The only thing I would like to see as an improvement is a good way to motivate her to practice. She has joined the Youth Chamber Orchestra at Dolce and that has helped a lot because there are other kids her age that she plays with and she doesn't want to be embarrassed by not knowing her part. Also, having performances to prepare for helps, but I wish they made a bigger deal about the performances approaching and perhaps had some system of accountability for the kids to work for, even if it was just a little prize. P.S. I save 5 star reviews for very few places, so 4 stars from me is pretty dang awesome!!

It's been a huge blessing because Cindy identified some major music reading weaknesses. We realized my daughter was just memorizing her music which created issues as she advanced. I am editing my review, because I just read the review from a "previous student." I have no idea what happened, but I know for a fact that she takes checks and sends invoices. She has since 2021 when we started. We've been through three recitals, and she has never forced my child to play a piece she does not want to play. However, every good teacher guides a student. Teaching is imparting knowledge of a subject. As for the IRS comment and bullying this person sounds like someone who gets mad and starts making false accusations out of their anger to hurt the other person instead of dealing in an adult manner with the issue.
