That was frustrating to me because the instructor didn't want to follow their own program. As a new learner I didn't know enough about playing music to know what I needed to learn. However, in 2018 when I found out about Heaven's Republic Institute of Worship I began taking lessons there and continue to do so along with one of my daughters. The staff is very knowledgable and teaches not only how to play a song, but each instructor teaches music theory as well. I also like the structure in which each student is learning their particular instrument. Keyboards are usually taught separately from guitars and then everyone is brought together learning how to play as a band. From my perspective, KJ has been an inspiration for learning bass guitar because there are so many techniques and styles to playing bass and he pretty much knows all of them, which has given me a lot of tools to use. I highly recommend Heaven's Republic Institute for anyone wanting to learn an instrument with a structured program. Jeff D
