Had a lovely day date with the hubby for a little pickleball competition in our day off. I…read moredownloaded the smash park app and reserved a pickleball court at 11am. The app is so easy to use and you're even able to add other rentals for your time at SP on the app like the pickleball paddles and ball. The check in process was easy and our court was ready to use as soon as we walked in. On a side note it our very first time playing the sport and we read up on the instructions and just decided to have a good time. Other courts had experts for sure. We did take 1-2 breaks during the hour to grab water or a bathroom break. The cost was $20 for the rental of the court for an hour during a weekday morning. $5 each for the paddle rental and $3 for the ball rental. They have lots of other fun activities here like the arcade, corn hole, duck pin bowling and even ax throwing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We'll be back for sure!

Fun and yum? @smashparkroseville inRoseville is a solid spot for both…read more They have TONS of activities and games to do inside and out, chill hang out spaces, huge screen TVs, large pickleball courts, as well as an active calendar of variety of things to do monthly like trivia, bingo, puppy yoga, etc. also note there's activities for all ages and abilities here. No need to be sporty spice to have fun too. My go to here is one that will have me come by just for a meal without all of the activities. It's good flavor and crunch all in one. Do yourself a favor and get em: Dynamite Chicken Sandwich Normal Fries with their homemade Ranch Have fun! For more awesome food spots check out the account mallorymademetryitmn on Instagram!

Pickle in the Middle has been an incredible space for my friends, family, and coworkers to enjoy,…read morethanks to their easy court reservations and convenient locations. I've never had issues with bookings, payments, or scheduling conflicts, which makes the experience smooth every time. I'm seriously considering getting a membership, but even without one, it's been a great spot with competitive pricing. If you're looking for a well-maintained, hassle-free pickleball facility in the area, this is the place to go! TL;DR: Reliable, convenient, and well-priced pickleball courts with easy reservations and no hassles--definitely worth checking out!

I was really disappointed with my experience at Pickle in the Middle in Brooklyn Park…read more My group rented two courts--one for 4 hours and another for 2 hours. We were there to have fun while visiting Minnesota from Georgia. We were playing pickleball, cheering each other on, and enjoying the courts we paid for. About 2 1/2 hours into our reservation, a Caucasian couple came in to practice on another court. Shortly after, an employee approached our group and told us that the couple had left because we were "too loud." The employee also repeatedly reminded us that there should only be six people per court, even though that wasn't an issue and we weren't exceeding the court capacity. What really bothered me was being told that cheering during a game was somehow inappropriate. Pickleball is a social, energetic sport. If someone is looking for complete peace and quiet to practice, a shared indoor facility may not be the right environment. Expecting everyone else to stop celebrating or having fun on courts they reserved doesn't seem reasonable. The interaction left a bad impression. While I can't say for certain that race played a role, the way our group was singled out made us feel uncomfortable and unfairly targeted. It's not a great feeling when you're visiting from out of state, excited to enjoy a local business, only to leave feeling unwelcome. We paid for our court time, followed the rules, and simply wanted to enjoy the game. Unfortunately, the way the situation was handled overshadowed what should have been a fun experience. I hope management takes a closer look at how customer concerns are addressed so that all groups are treated fairly and consistently.
