Juan constructed one is such a way that I could put my round mosaic tile in a welded pan with 20" legs. He knew exactly what I needed to do and he did it in 48 hours. The workmanship is fantastic and the final job was better than I expected. See the picture! it was a very good form fitting tabletop which will be used to deflect heat over a firepit. I am amazed that we have this kind of craftsmanship and gorgeous design for modern furniture in Austin. I love the combination of natural woods and organic shapes with clean lines and metals in their furniture. I've been thinking about which piece to get next. It's fun to see their steel planters around town and I also loved the painted reclaimed file cabinet planters that I saw at an Austin Home Show too. The crew that showed up to perform the work, lead by Noe, was extremely professional and courteous. They were also highly skilled and did a great job of getting everything welded up cleanly and straight. Eastside Fabrication's team had no problems dealing with the minor fitment issues we encountered. They were able to fabricate a few missing parts and made adjustments to their installation methods to ensure a very nice visual fitment. The welds were clean and the finished product was exactly what we were looking for. The crew showed up on time each day and worked around our schedule. They also completed the project within the requested timeline and did a great job of maintaining a safe and clean work area. I plan on utilizing Eastside Fabrication again in the future. We bought a 3/4" stainless-steel rod from Westbrook Metals (see separate review for them), and had Eastside Fabrication tap the end of it (with a 10mm metric thread) and bend it. We were on a tight time schedule since my friend had to leave town in 5 days, but Eastside did the job the next day. It turned out the rod wasn't sturdy enough, so we got a second piece of 3/4" rod and had Eastside weld the two alongside each other; he did that the same day, and it works perfectly and looks good. It's not often one needs services such as this, but if you do, this is the place to go. Very friendly, very accommodating, and top-notch work.
