The installation went well and was timely, but then a popping noise soon developed whenever they each extend and retract. I made several calls and texts to Walter Whiddon but he was never able to convince his technician, Todd (apparently a solo contractor himself) to come and fix it. After 11 months, I called the manufacturer, SunPro, and they referred me to another awning company- However, that company no longer services SunPro awnings. I am still trying to run down alternate service- so much for the 10-year warranty. Walter is good at sales then disappears. He has been MIA. He spends a lot of time in Costa Rica and recently got his citizenship there, so I am not optimistic about any future service either.
