Stumbled across Droolin' Moose when visiting a shop nearby. The shop was honoring 2 local officers who were killed and a first responder by donating $10 to each cup of malted milk balls and we were compelled to purchase a cup in support. We were also purchasing supplies for our college-age daughter and felt she and her dorm mates should have a cup also. The store has a really interesting sample structure which was nice to try a few items. HOWEVER, the coolest part was when we described what we like, the shop worker made great recommendations. We were also able to watch someone come in looking for a gift and she made a recommendation that resulted in him buying the gift and some for himself. Very talented staff! It's a fun experience, great chocolate, and chill atmosphere. Please don't be one of those people who gorge on samples and not buy anything - it's a local business, support local!

Board outside to make decisions before entering

I read about this local place online and decided to drop by one of their locations while in town. Liked the board outside of the store so you can make up your mind before going in. I was surprised at the high prices and though the candy is tasty, didn't feel it was worth that much. I wanted to get a gift for a friend of mine and they offered a cardboard box to house up to 4 items. This woud have cost about $10-$15 per item plus an additional $5 for the box. Kind of disappointing that they would charge for the box.

Gummi worms, teacher gift, two free candy bars!

I got some chocolate from here as a Christmas present and they are delicious. It is the caramel filled salted chocolate bites.

The chocolate pinwheel was just okay and a little on the dry side. Parking is a bit limited and there's no seating, so this is more of a grab-and-go spot. They have a large assortment of coffee and other hot drinks, but the real highlight here is definitely the baked goods. They also offer breakfast items that can be heated, which is great if you want something more filling. The shop itself is really cute with a cozy, charming feel. Ok brewed and coffee cake, which looks like a bread. Have to try more items when in SLP. Coffee had an amazingly nutty, naughty roasted toasted taste with the ever important after taste. How did I miss this place across from Trader Joe's in the past? Was on the other side of town and checked trusty Yelp for "Coffee Shops Near Me". Gotta go. Getting out of the parking lot was a task. One side is no left turn onto Excelsior Blvd. Try to turn back the other way with cars entering on two sides..yes two sides to enter, only one to exit. Made it, now sipping and driving 8 miles to my next location. Coffee feels good on a bone numbing day.

The space feels elevated and really well designed. Parking is a little limited in the lot, but there are additional options across the street which helps. Our server Baye took amazing care of us and gave great recommendations. Service overall was really strong and made the experience even better. The menu is impressive with a wide variety of flavorful options, and I really appreciated that they clearly label gluten free items. Such a great touch. Wasn't too busy when we arrived but by time we left it was packed. The food is asian fusion, very unique dishes and flavor profiles. I went with Wings and Fries, my friend got wings (a different flavor) and chips and salsa. I honestly didn't care for the wings. the texture of the batter/skin was off putting for me (looks like it would be crispy but pretty soggy). They had a lot of flavor though spice wise. The staff were pretty attentive. They kind of all worked together to do whatever needed to be done to help. Super nice ambiance! They even have a photography policy but you can't see it unless you use the restroom. The bathrooms were even a vibe- cute decor, birds chirping (lofi sounds), and warm hand towels. To the right of the bar is a super cute dining room filled with plants. The seating and all is just impressive here.

We chose a croissant with vanilla cream and chocolate chips, the veggie quiche, yogurt parfait, hot chocolate, and their seasonal pumpkin spice latte. Everything was so tasty! The croissant was beautiful and had a nice crispy crust but soft inside. The quiche was also delicious and was served with a small side salad. The quiche is cooked a bit less than others I've had, giving it more of a slight jiggly texture. I thought it was great! The parfait bowl was topped with seeds, fruit, and nuts, providing a really lovely texture. The yogurt was super flavorful too! Both drinks were tasty but especially my daughter's hot chocolate! So rich!! We will definitely be back soon to enjoy more of their baked goods and other delights!

My family loved it and the slice sizes were perfect! My New York cheesecake was absolutely lovely, it definitely felt like a fresh strawberry would have made it over the top but it was amazing regardless! My husband thought the pistachio flavor would be a bit more subtle but he also enjoyed his slice :)
