Stumbled across Droolin' Moose when visiting a shop nearby. The shop was honoring 2 local officers who were killed and a first responder by donating $10 to each cup of malted milk balls and we were compelled to purchase a cup in support. We were also purchasing supplies for our college-age daughter and felt she and her dorm mates should have a cup also. The store has a really interesting sample structure which was nice to try a few items. HOWEVER, the coolest part was when we described what we like, the shop worker made great recommendations. We were also able to watch someone come in looking for a gift and she made a recommendation that resulted in him buying the gift and some for himself. Very talented staff! It's a fun experience, great chocolate, and chill atmosphere. Please don't be one of those people who gorge on samples and not buy anything - it's a local business, support local!

Board outside to make decisions before entering

I read about this local place online and decided to drop by one of their locations while in town. Liked the board outside of the store so you can make up your mind before going in. I was surprised at the high prices and though the candy is tasty, didn't feel it was worth that much. I wanted to get a gift for a friend of mine and they offered a cardboard box to house up to 4 items. This woud have cost about $10-$15 per item plus an additional $5 for the box. Kind of disappointing that they would charge for the box.

Gummi worms, teacher gift, two free candy bars!

I got some chocolate from here as a Christmas present and they are delicious. It is the caramel filled salted chocolate bites.

Stopped here to do birthday desserts!! Here are the key things to note!…read more Free parking Great patio!! It was covered and the flowers around this place are gorgeous!! You are looking out to a street but the flowers REALLY make up for that! There is inside seating as well, table and chairs. You walk up and order. The desserts and separate from the main course items. I appreciated that! Made the lines go faster. The service on the other hand was lacking. I stood there waiting while 2 people had a convo and I felt ignored. I dropped a star for that reason. The key lime pie and dirt cup were very tasty!! This place is known for its "pattiecake" but I just felt it was a regular chocolate cake with frosting. They have plenty of desserts though! Overall this place gives "up scale Panera vibes" and I liked it! I would go back!

If you're looking for a table indoors and the main area is packed, head to the back (towards bathrooms) where you'll find two rooms with additional seating which are usually quieter. - I tend to go for sandwiches, which include house made chips. Honestly, when I first went, I wasn't a fan of the chips, but it didn't take long for me to like them. Once while dining in, I found that most of them were just tiny bits. Well when the waiter came to ask how things were, I told/showed him... just as an FYI, not expecting anything. Well, he kindly brought me a bag to replace them. -The staff is mostly kind, with two male waiters/runners being especially nice and helpful. While myself or others are waiting they'll give friendly smiles, see if you need anything in the meantime. I like them! - Although I go mainly for the sandwiches, (my favorite being the Southwest Chicken Panini available in the Fall), I also like the mac and cheese and fries. I used to love the coconut cake, but something about the last one I bought tasted different. The filling and the cake texture... weren't as tasty as I remember. During my last visit I tried, the Reuben. Not for me, but they have lots of other things to try.

I ordered the seasonal latte with coconut syrup and oat milk, and it was delicious. The coconut flavor was subtle and complemented the espresso perfectly. I also tried the smoked salmon croissant. The croissant itself was flaky and flavorful, although I could have done without the poached egg, especially since it was served cold. The pastries were a highlight! The citrus tart was fantastic and reminded me of a key lime pie with its bright, tangy flavor and beautiful designs. I even brought a few pastries home, and they were just as enjoyable later. One of my favorite parts of the visit was enjoying breakfast on the patio while people watching in Kingfield. I also had no trouble finding free street parking right across from the patisserie, which was a nice bonus. Overall, a great breakfast spot with friendly service, delicious coffee, and excellent pastries. I'd definitely come back!

There are a lot more cheesecake options than are listed on the website and such fun flavors it was really hard to decide! We went with a raspberry and then got two slices to sneakily try on our own. My husband got the pistachio and I got the New York. Really really appreciate that the whole cheesecake was pre-cut so I didn't have to struggle with that bit! My family loved it and the slice sizes were perfect! My New York cheesecake was absolutely lovely, it definitely felt like a fresh strawberry would have made it over the top but it was amazing regardless! My husband thought the pistachio flavor would be a bit more subtle but he also enjoyed his slice :)

Whoever delivered it left it at the back of the building instead of the front. I wouldn't have even known it was there unless I took the garbage out today. No name on it, no effort to contact me, nothing. Another resident must have brought it in and left it sitting on the radiator where I found it with lid half open, not even sealed with a strip of tape, with no name on it at all. Happy birthday right? Terrible, terrible birthday experience and appalling service. Thanks for nothing. Edit: Voice mail box is full, so no option to leave a message about my experience, and no response from the call back option using another number. Really unsure of whether it was delivered on Sunday like it was supposed to be, or sat on the basement level overnight until I found it.
