We were coming from several hours away, and aren't from the city, but they didn't seem to be sympathetic to this. They assured me everything would be taken care of. However, upon us arriving to pick up the van, it was filthy. They did a quick vacuum but never detailed it. The paint pen they were to throw in was the wrong color, there was no paperwork to hand me. I had limited time as we were only passing through. Later, once I sent pics of the dirt in the car (stains, coffee spills, wood debris scattered in storage areas, used toothpicks...) they agreed for me to come in at anytime in the future for a free full detailing, Ultimate package. About 3 months later, it worked out we'd be in Edmonton again, so when I called I learned I was downgraded to a lesser detailing package for no given reason. I had to fight to have it be the original Ultimate package. They said they'd do that. Also, they said with the sale of the van it included lifetime oil changes - so I thought I'd get them to do both on the one trip. It was then they said first I had to purchase the regular, ongoing maintenance work in order to continue to qualify for the "free oil changes"...okay, that was not made known to me before the sale. They end up doing the detailing but when I picked up the van, it was clearly not a complete "ultimate" job. It was still easy for me to find dirt under the chairs, around the consols, in the vents, no paint chips were touched up as was part of the ultimate package, stains were still in the seat (maybe they tried hard, but didn't come out still..I'll give the benefit of the doubt), but it's okay, the did exchange the paint pen for the correct color ;) I have lost patience with dealing with Toyota On The Trail - I don't want to call them again just to continue an uphill conversation which every time was a struggle. So, I'll clean it, the way I know it can be done...but I doubt I'll ever buy another used car again and I wouldn't recommend this place if you enjoy good customer service. Sorry boys, you sold me one vehicle, but certainly didn't gain yourselves a long-term client.

This is a scheduled appointment review only…read more I have bought my 2014 escape at this location and had great service. Every time I come here to get an oil change, tire change/rotation, etc, the wait times have been ridiculously long. Now I get that the mechanics get busy and things happen but don't tell me at the front desk that it's going to be 1hr 45 mins and really have it be 3+ hrs. Overshoot your wait times like most places would because when I'm still waiting at the 2 hr mark (with no employee telling me what is going on or why it's taking so long) I am going to be mad. Every minute past that increases my anger. Apparently you need an entire afternoon off with a scheduled appointment to get an oil change and tires put on.

However, our recent transaction with Go Auto Team Ford has proven to be significantly different. The salesperson exhibited deceitful behaviour, misrepresenting the servicing history of the vehicle and providing inaccurate information regarding its ownership. When we inquired about potential issues with the vehicle, the salesperson assured us that there were none and that it was in excellent condition. We finally received the inspection report after we had purchased the vehicle, which the salesman said was too bad for you. I strongly advise potential customers to consider avoiding this dealership, or at the very least, to engage legal counsel during the purchasing process. It would be prudent to explore alternative options for vehicle acquisition, as this could yield a more satisfactory outcome. Save yourself from a bad experience and buy elsewhere. The front brake pads were down to 3mm which he did nt advise or inform us after we inquired about any issues with the vehicle. He also did not tell us it had no block heater. The oil was not changed and the last service was done 10K ago. Update: The salesperson Armit said they would get back to us after reviewing with the manager. This has not happened; we have had no response to our complaints. Once you have purchased a vehicle, do not expect any customer service from them. They hid the issues from us when we specifically asked for the info, then lied to cover their tracks.

This dealership has ZERO follow up or customer service…read more On October 31, @ 345 pm I saw their service shuttle cause chaos in traffic on Wayne Gretzky Drive and Yellowhead Trail. The shuttle driver didn't realize that the lane he was in ended I guess, and he decided to move into the left lane beside him with NO regard for the F350 that was beside him. I have a feeling he did bother looking before his fast moves. That's when I noticed the rear bumper of this gold minivan was destroyed. I tried to keep my distance as not to become his next victim but close enough to get the phone # of the dealership. As I passed this vehicle i noticed the driver was an ELDERLY man who probably shouldn't have been on the road. I called into service and left a message for the service manager about the 3 potential collisions I saw this man almost cause in 5 minutes but he never called me back. Then on November 7th I left a message for the general manager and here we are a week later and still no call. If this place can't call me back about concerns about there shuttle driver I don't think they would be very helpful if you had concerns with your vehicle purchase. I took my vehicle in for basic repairs, and what I got back was a car in significantly worse condition than when I dropped it off. After they had my vehicle for 32 days, my insurance company contacted them for an update. Only then did they admit that their dent removal subcontractor had damaged several pieces while doing the repairs and that they were waiting for parts. Instead of addressing the damage properly, the subcontractor glued the broken pieces back together, clearly hoping I wouldn't notice. The glued pieces didn't hold when they tried to replace the headliner so they had to order the parts. I also discovered missing interior parts, exposed wiring, and a piece of duct tape labeled "damaged" stuck to my trunk. To top it off, I found a random broken-off part in my cup holder with no indication of where it belonged. Beyond the physical damage, the service at Herbers West was dismissive and unhelpful. My original service provider and the receptionist showed little concern for my situation and offered no real assistance. When I went to pick up my vehicle, they couldn't even find a record of my damage deposit payment--even though they remembered me paying it. I had to refuse to pay again. I eventually connected with a service advisor that was helpful, but there wasn't much he could do to help at that point. After all of this, they handed me a $100 gift card as if that could make up for the stress, dishonesty, and damage I endured. I brought in a well-maintained vehicle for basic repairs, and it was returned to me in significantly worse condition, with damage from bumper to bumper. I am still unsure of the full extent of the issues caused by this repair process. Save yourself the headache--Herbers West Edmonton and their third-party repair partners cannot be trusted.
