They didn't seem to care at all, finally got Mo the used sales manager to speak with me and he couldn't explain the issue or even try to find a solution. I needed 60k and these guys were trying to push my application through for 109k. I asked mo why they were doing this and he said this is how it works. He continued to tell me my preapproval at dodge was not true and that it was impossible. This was straight out calling em a liar. Unreal. We explained we would find other financing if they couldn't and he agreed we should go to the bank ourselves. We did and secured financing the next morning. That same morning the manager of the shop called to tell us that they sold the vehicle and their finance team didn't even finish getting the deal through for financing, even when my deposit was holding the truck. The finance team is lazy and they have no integrity in what they do. Speaking with the manager of this dealership, he apologize and essentially read us a script as to being sorry but no accountability was held at all. Owning 4 fords and a strong supporter of the brand, I'm absolutely disappointed in not only the level of honestly, but the level of integrity, horrible representation of the brand. I've filled a complaint with AMVIC about this as I haven't received my deposit back. Not a trustworthy place to support the ford brand and if you can do a deal with another outlet. Definitely avoid Mo the sales manger and Nickolas the finance officer. Absolutely no rush in this guys step at all and Mo has not a bone of integrity in his body. You could expect this from a shady used car place but did not expect this on a large ford dealer. In particular I was purchasing from grande prairie so landing this deal from afar was already difficult. Now I have a 65k loan funded sitting in my account. Below is the email I sent at closing the day before the sold it with my deposit. The last Nickolas couldn't even respond to my email and they were all notified that I was coming for the truck on my deposit but as you can see the lack of integrity prevailed. The shuttle driver didn't realize that the lane he was in ended I guess, and he decided to move into the left lane beside him with NO regard for the F350 that was beside him. I have a feeling he did bother looking before his fast moves. That's when I noticed the rear bumper of this gold minivan was destroyed. I tried to keep my distance as not to become his next victim but close enough to get the phone # of the dealership. As I passed this vehicle i noticed the driver was an ELDERLY man who probably shouldn't have been on the road. I called into service and left a message for the service manager about the 3 potential collisions I saw this man almost cause in 5 minutes but he never called me back. Then on November 7th I left a message for the general manager and here we are a week later and still no call. If this place can't call me back about concerns about there shuttle driver I don't think they would be very helpful if you had concerns with your vehicle purchase. It is the 2nd Pilot I've owned and although I paid full asking price due to scarcity of good used stock during covid, the sales manager was kind enough to throw in a protective mat for the rear when the seats are folded down, which is our usual mode of operation. Recently, a leak began on the upper part of the windshield which was recently replaced. The installer assured me, after thorough testing, it was not leaking around the windshield but likely from the sun roof. I phoned the service department and asked if there was maybe a drain from the sunroof that could be plugged. The female in that department answered my voicemail very quickly and assured me there were no drains around the sunroof, instead, I should bring it into their shop for a 2 or 3 hour repair. I live 1-1/4 hours away so I decided to do a little research and found that the common cause of sunroof leaks is a plugged drain line and the remedy is to insert a 2 metre length of sturdy weed eater plastic line into the drain hole on the forward driver's side of the sunroof. After 15 minutes of poking the plastic line in and out of the drain hole and testing the flow of water around the opening, the problem was solved. I took my vehicle in for basic repairs, and what I got back was a car in significantly worse condition than when I dropped it off. After they had my vehicle for 32 days, my insurance company contacted them for an update. Only then did they admit that their dent removal subcontractor had damaged several pieces while doing the repairs and that they were waiting for parts. Instead of addressing the damage properly, the subcontractor glued the broken pieces back together, clearly hoping I wouldn't notice. The glued pieces didn't hold when they tried to replace the headliner so they had to order the parts. I also discovered missing interior parts, exposed wiring, and a piece of duct tape labeled "damaged" stuck to my trunk. To top it off, I found a random broken-off part in my cup holder with no indication of where it belonged. Beyond the physical damage, the service at Herbers West was dismissive and unhelpful. My original service provider and the receptionist showed little concern for my situation and offered no real assistance. When I went to pick up my vehicle, they couldn't even find a record of my damage deposit payment--even though they remembered me paying it. I had to refuse to pay again. I eventually connected with a service advisor that was helpful, but there wasn't much he could do to help at that point. After all of this, they handed me a $100 gift card as if that could make up for the stress, dishonesty, and damage I endured. I brought in a well-maintained vehicle for basic repairs, and it was returned to me in significantly worse condition, with damage from bumper to bumper. I am still unsure of the full extent of the issues caused by this repair process. Save yourself the headache--Herbers West Edmonton and their third-party repair partners cannot be trusted. Take your business elsewhere.

For instance my mom wanted to pay for winter studded tires for me, and the front end was being a pain in the ass about it. So I talked to the service manager and low and behold she gave me a pre authorized payment form for my mom to fill out and fax back to me to authorize a payment from her for my purchase. Great service department, amazing actually. The parts and service department talk with each other, they know what they need, they bought and buy extra winter studded tires for winter and sell them at a discounted rate the next year. The ones I bought and have on are some of the best winter tires you can buy, tires warehouse couldn't beat VW's price, I was very impressed. Basic services are a bit pricey but hey, labour is expensive and I don't have a garage and tools to do it myself so I'm not going to complain. Oh and this entire emissions scandal, please.....there is. I thing wrong with my car and it still meets our provinces standards. But hey I'll take something if they give it to me. Now the price was $25k! including gst if yu did a cash deal. I left empty handed. I saw Jacky's advert on KIJIJI and went to look at it and it was good. No pressure and a straight forward process. The best thing was he didn't push a warranty and other hidden charges on me. He did offer a 3rd party warranty if I was interested, but that was it. The car only came with one key, and Jacky offered to get a second one made up for me at no charge. I really enjoyed the experiance with Platinum Fine Cars and I would reccomend them to anyone wanting a hassle free experiance.
