Worst service ever, booked a Camry and came on time to ask. These guys wanted to give me a Mercedes which is way different than what I booked. Asked for something that is similar to Camry which by the way they said the Mercedes is similar. They put me in a difficult situation and ruined my plans as they should have given me a call to let me the change ahead of time. I got budget car rental which they immediately gave me what I asked. This is the 2 nd time has happened with enterprise and they won't get my business ever. read more

Hi, I had a horrible experience with my rental and will jot down a few tips that may help you avoid the stress I'm having now. After all, we rent a car to have a great time, not a nightmare! If you are not familiar with the car rental business (that was my case), these tips may be useful. I don't want to generalize the comments to the entire Enterprise company. My issue was with the Edmonton Yellowhead Trail branch, so my review is specifically addressed to them. 1. Don't let them rush you during the inspection. Take a whole hour if you feel you need it. Don't trust anything they say and take pictures or make a video of the entire car. 2. If  they bring a car with many minor damages, refuse the car. They may make you pay for previous damages. In my case, the car had a huge crack in the windshield and many chips all over. I started to mention them and they told me that there were minor and rushed the inspection. After, they charged me for underneath bumper chips that I am sure I did not cause during my day-and-a-half rental. 3. Take a picture of the gas gauge. They cheated in the inspection document and tried to charge me for the gas. Luckily I had a picture of the dashboard. I don't know if it was on purpose or a mistake, but also I wonder which one is worse, dishonesty or lack of training... 4. If you have an issue with them, they won't probably listen to you. In my case, they were extremely aggressive charging me and, instead of listening to my concerns, just hid behind the statement that I had signed the contract (including the manager!) I really wish you a wonderful experience with your rental and I will be much more careful next time a need to rent a car. Of course I will avoid  this company. read more

The people were very helpful at this location. However if you have a mishap with enterprise and don't take there insurance watch out. I recommend taking it. After an accident I got two bills. They told me the guy that was handling my case had sticky notes and was on it. Sticky notes you say. Oh yeah! I was told over the phone that I could rent a vehicle with a debit card when I made the reservation. They handed me the keys and told me again, I just needed a debit card after I went through the inspection and signed the documents. I went in to finalize the rental in the store and I was told I required a credit card by Greg And Dan! Very unprofessional! Now I'm sitting with my luggage stuck at the rental place and need to get to Calgary because my sick grandma has a medical operation. read more

I felt so taken care of. I was in a fender bender and my car was taken in for repairs. They picked me up at my house, no issues or complaints even though I changed the time I needed the ride 4 times. The guy was super friendly and it was an easy, chill and fun ride to the business. Once I got there he got me my car, gave me a choice of a few, brought it out and ran me through my options. He took time and genuinely seemed enjoy his job. They called me the next day to make sure I was enjoying the car and the guy on the other end told me "I had the best answering machine he has ever heard" which means they have a sense of humour. (Which is a huge win in my eyes) I was highly impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of this company. I would totally rent from them again. Such a trouble free experience. read more

I had hesitation of having to deal with another car rental company after my bad experience with another big name car rental company. But had no choice since I needed a car for the week while my car was being repaired. I'm very happy to say that the experience with Enterprise was excellent from beginning to end. Unlike the other company they did a very thorough check outside and inside before I drove off. The car provided was clean and equal to what I was driving and recent (2015 I believe), meanwhile, at the other place I got a crappy old and falling apart vehicle. Everyone I dealt with were professional and very nice. You only get to make a first impression once and happy to say they didn't disappoint. I will definitely use them again if I need to rent a vehicle again. Tip: Though they offer insurance where it also covers the deductible for $16.99/day, best to just check to see if your own auto insurance company covers you fully and not get it. Also make a note of how much gas is in the tank. Mine didn't have a full tank, so they marked on their sheet where the gauge showed, this way I was only responsible for filling it back up to at least the same spot. read more

Just needed a rental for a day. Staff was pleasant and forthright. I felt welcomed and informed and there were no hidden fees or anything weird I've experienced from a few other companies. Plus I got a discount for having a costco membership. I recommend this place for sure. read more

Ive been continuously coming here for a while, and i also make my friends and family come here also. Best enterprise location in the city. I refuse to go to any other location as the customer service at this location is legendary. The manager Greg Hladyshevsky is the best! Super accommodating, gets back to you right away about any inquiry and keeps up with his professionalism. I will continuously give my business here as this location has never let me down! read more

My experience with these guys was pretty mediocre. A car had been booked for me here, and I called to try to transfer my reservation to the Gateway Boulevard location which was closer to my home. They told me my reservation wasn't in the system, but they'd work it out for me, call the other location, and be back in touch shortly. I waited half an hour the first time, and called back, getting a different representative who told me the exact same thing. I waited an hour and after no one called, I tried again close to 5:00 (so much for picking the car up between 4 and 5 p.m!) and once again received the same response from a third rep, who then spoke to someone else and assured me my car would be waiting at the southside location. I called the southside spot to confirm, only to find that my reservation had inexplicably been made for a Fort Saskatchewan Enterprise location. Um, okay. While everyone I spoke to was super-friendly and apologetic, the bottom line is that the service was totally ineffective this time round. Personally, I'd skip this particular location based my experience today. read more

Great service from the time I was picked up at home until I drove away in the rental. It was nice how someone came to open the door for me when I went to enter the building, I don't think that has ever happened to me before! They explained the procedure well and told me that if I needed the car longer than the insurance company would pay for, they would allow me to continue paying at the insurance company's rate. They offered a choice of vehicles and the car I chose was very nice and well kept. I will be back to Enterprise if I ever need to rent another vehicle. read more

Someone had hit my car, so i had to bring it into the shop to be fixed. thankfully the other drivers insurance paid for a rental so that i could still get to work. So i drop my car off at the shop and and enterprise picks me up and takes my to there store and now there is a $150.00 deposit for the car which they explain i will get back after i return the car. okay so no big deal. then I'm told that i need insurance for 14.75 per day, and if i don't get it and the car gets into another accident wheather it is my fault our not I will now be responsible of all charges occured out of my pocket. and if the car is kept for 10 days or more than it will be an automatic 150.00. okay. so teusday is when i drop off my car. so on the next thursday day i finaly get a call, my car is ready to be picked up. i bring the car back to enterprise, am told that since it was after 4:00 i am at the 10th day and oh since i got the insurance i had also purchaced the road side assistance which is an additional 60.00. would have been nice to know that up front. Later when i got home with my car, called the insurance compay to tell them that all the work was done, I asked about the insurance that i had paid for with enterprise. they proceeded to tell me that because it was a replacement car that they covered all insurance for it. and no i would not have had to pay out of pocket if another accedent had accured. so again thank you enterprise for hidden costs, and scaring me into buying useless things. you know getting into your first accedent in your first care weather you cause it or not, is a terrifying thing. to be swindled on top of that is an even worse feeling. read more
