I tried to rent a car at this location as I had an emergency. The rep I initially spoke with was great and arranged to pick me up that I was in the radius. The manager called and informed I was not in the radius! He would not budge in accommodating me and could have cared less. As a manager he could have helped out a potential customer but chose instead to be an arrogant and uncaring person. Regional needs to know about managers like this! I booked a premium speciality car for a trip through the mountains with my brother and his wife. When I arrived, they had zero cars that fit my reservation and were unable to offer anything comfortable at all. We ended up getting stuck in a Chevy Malibu with a 1.5L engine. This car has the same horse power as my fiat 500 and was absolutely brutal to go through the mountains. It wheezes up the hills and felt unsafe breaking down the bigger slopes. I have also had a kidney transplant a little over a year ago. I need something comfortable which is why I booked what I did. My back and hips were in terrible shape when I arrived to my destination. I stopped at enterprise in Cranbrook, Canmore and Cochrane looking to upgrade into what I originally booked. I explained my medical situation which on their website says they will do everything to accommodate for. Every place including this location gave me the same story about the hail damage in Calgary and how all their cars went there. I wanted a car for another day to take my dad and his wife and step son out in something nice and again they offered nothing. Enterprise handled this situation terribly. I felt that my concerns were brushed off and as if I did not matter as a customer. I need a more expensive car rental in a couple of weeks and I for sure will not be using enterprise this time or ever again. I strongly advise caution if you're looking for customer service from this company. read more

Horrible business. This unethical company will accuse you of incurring damage to their rental vehicles (the front bumper they blamed me for cutting was ALREADY damaged before I got it) and squeeze as much money out of you as they can. Of course best practice is to avoid Enterprise at all costs, but if you have to deal with them, always make sure that you take multiple photographs of the vehicle before you leave their building. This unscrupulous business doesn't deserve any star. Because I was from out of town, they kept my deposit for a cracked windshield - there was NO DAMAGES to the vehicle when I dropped it off. VIDEO RECORD the vehicle before & after you rent. ENSURE the VIN number is the sam number as well because they are ripping off out of town customers! BEWARE- I'm contacting the FRANCHISEES HEAD OFFICE! They don't deserve to represent the true Enterprise & are destroying their quality of service & reputation! Horrible business, never have any vehicles, took me a week just to get them on the phone. I was supposed to be in a truck or large suv and they gave me a Jetta which I had to drive to another part of the city to pickup. They said I could switch but when I showed up they said the truck and suv were reserved for someone else. I asked if I could reserve one and they said no because they didn't know when one was being returned. Overall horrible, if you don't have to use them don't. read more

Booked a car rental reservation with this branch 2 days ago and they told me 2 hours before I pick up the vehicle, that they had no vehicles for me. Told me they'd call me at 10:30am to let me know what cars they have since the one I ordered wasn't in. They never called and proceeded not to answer my call back. Horrible management and customer service. Mackenzie, the manager, was not helpful at all and helped book walk in customers but not a reservation from 2 days prior. Don't waste your time with this branch. Update: they stopped answering there phone once I asked to speak to the manager. Mackenzie you are a joke of a manager. Enterprise Rent-A-Car - Car Rental Near Me - Edmonton, Alberta

We rented a car here for 3 days and when we got to see the car, we were wary but ok with a small new car. 2014 fiesta. We then found out that they didn't fill it with any gas or windshield liquids and coolant. We were shocked because we never had this type of situation before at a rental. They took about 15-20 min and they accommodated us with not having to pay for full tank again. Then after 2 days, the car starts to break down. The air in the car broke and we couldn't defrost the windshield. It was frozen and we have to drive with the windows down to try to at least get home. Now it's just parked outside and it needs to be towed. Needless to say, it's been a waste and we had to miss out on many of our plans because of it. Very disappointed and we definitely aren't going to enterprise again. We have a group of 20+ that have been affected with our group not being able to efficiently meet, so this company needs to step up. We've been calling all morning for help and they say they have no extra cars. Is that possible?? Enterprise, I'm exiting. read more

Rented a car from Enterprise because they were recommended to me by Fusion Collision (body shop just a few blocks away at 9241 - 34 Ave) while they were repairing my vehicle following a car accident. I dropped my vehicle off for repairs, and the receptionist called over to Enterprise so they could pick me up and take me to get set up with a rental. I waited for OVER 50 MINUTES for the ride and nobody came. The receptionist at Fusion placed three separate calls and spoke to the manager at Enterprise. The manager kept reassuring her that they were just short staffed/busy and someone was on the way. Finally, the receptionist and I got tired of waiting and she took me in her own personal vehicle to Enterprise. Keep in mind, Enterprise is a five minute drive from Fusion.* *as a side note - the folks at Fusion were awesome and went above and beyond for me. No qualms with them whatsoever. Finally got to Enterprise, and they had two small cars being washed in the wash bay and a dirty Hyundai Tucson out back that was just returned. I opted for the Tucson because it was of similar size to my own vehicle. They informed me to take a seat as they were going to put it throught he wash then clean out the inside. NO NO NO. I was so late for work at this point that I told them to just give me the Tucson as is and get me on my way. They did a quick inside sweep, I filled out the paper work and completed the inspection and they sent me on my way. Four hours later at work, I get a call from Enterprise saying my insurance company approved me for a rental and let them know I might need one, so I should call Enterprise back so they can get me set up in a rental vehicle. WHAT?! I called and let them know that I already had one of their vehicles. The girl's response on the phone? "OH! Just kidding." Just brutal. Won't be using this place again. The staff were nice enough, but they're very disorganized and need to get it together. read more

I have a love-hate relationship with Enterprise. They've got an awesome business set up and on many occasions have the best deals in town (or at least this part of town) for car rentals. Now, on other times, I feel bad because I end up having to go to them, more out of the patronage of sticking to one brand than anything else, and feel like their rates are crazy! Don't ever just show up at a rental branch! Sometimes they quickly run out of the smaller cars and if that's what you're looking for you'd end up paying an exorbitant rate for your car. The smart internet user would book a small car ahead of time, needn't be two months ahead, could just be a day ahead and then show-up. This one time we were renting a car to go the mountains in late fall. We had booked a midsize car, 4 door blah .. and they were out of it and the only thing they had was an SUV! Hooray! They gave us the SUV at the rate of our original booking of the midsize car, which is a lot cheaper, in case you're wondering. The best part about Enterprise is that they have free passenger pick-up/drop-off to their destination or home. It's awesome. Unfortunately this particular branch didn't offer me those services on account of me living too far away. I guess it's fine, but they don't mention it anywhere read more

service was excellent! However, vehicle had a tire problem. Tire service sign was on when vehicle was rented to me. Upon request, they inflated the tires, however, tire service sign came back on in two days. I couldn't drive out of town, which I had planned while visiting Canada. I was hoping Enterprise would replace the vehicle, however, manager stated that he had no other vehicle to offer except for that caravan which I had booked online. read more

Horrible horrible horrible service. Two days in a row they told me that they had a vehicle there for me and when I showed up to pick it up they told me that there was none available. The lady sitting beside me actually had the same experience. After all of this mess they finally got me into a vehicle and the guy that was helping me was so apologetic and told me that they would give me a week free in an enterprise vehicle when my insurance ran out. I just called them to see if I could return the vehicle after my insurance ran out and my week free and they informed me that they would not be paying for a week free and that they didn't have any notes on that so I assume the guy only told me that to shut me up and never had any intention of giving a free week. So I drove this vehicle for an entire week after my insurance ran out thinking that I wasn't going to have to pay for it and now I am on the hook for hundreds of dollars. read more
