My new Nissan! Thanks Drivetime

I purchased a car from Drivetime 5 years ago during Covid, Drivetime got me into a car with minimal down payment. The car was fantastic and I drove it with little to no problems for almost 5 yrs. Was so happy that even though I have good credit now I still went back to Drivetime because of how well I was treated. They bought back the car I purchased in 2020 no questions asked. They got me into another newer car with ZERO down payment. I love my new car and I will forever be a customer at Drivetime. It started as I HAD to get a car from them but had such an amazing experience that now that I'm back on my feet I WANT to get my car from them!! Best decision ever! Thank you Driver

I purchased my 2015 Ford explorer on March 5, 2023 on May 15, 2023. The transmissions sounded like it dropped onto the freeway and I could not drive more than 3 mph. I contacted Drivetime and since I did not sign up for the additional warranty that exceeded 30 days. I was out of luck. Sales associate Quester, who I believe is polite and professional, advised me that unfortunately I could not trade in the vehicle and i would have to speak to customer relations. Unfortunately, I hit a dead end there as well. These loans can put customers in debt with vehicles that don't last more than two Months. Protect yourself and purchase elsewhere.

Thursday night, I had a major oil leak. I called them Friday morning and they fixed it right away no hesitations no questions. Pick it back up Friday ran great. Saturday and she doesn't start. I'm not a mechanic so I have no idea why but I guess the battery but they went above and beyond they drove to my to the vehicle got it started. I drove it to the dealership and they fixed it and I had it back again the same day. If you ask me that is above and beyond what a dealership has to do when selling a used vehicle. Over the years my family has purchased several vehicles from the dealership and they've always treated us with respect and this time they went above and beyond!!! I would definitely recommend them to anybody looking to buy a vehicle.

The reason the deal stopped was because the vehicle developed multiple serious issues during my test drives. On the first and second test drive, the vehicle triggered: * Check engine light * Battery charging malfunction warning * Engine overheating warning * Limp mode, limiting the car to under 1,500 RPM After returning to the dealership, I personally inspected the vehicle and found the main pulley had failed/separated. What concerns me is that the vehicle was advertised across multiple sites as being "fully inspected & serviced by our state-of-the-art top-rated service department." Based on the condition the vehicle presented in during my visit, I do not feel that statement reflected my experience. If I wasn't serious about purchasing the vehicle, I would not have: * Sent a $1,000 deposit * Booked a flight from Southern California to Sacramento * Planned to drive the vehicle 7-8 hours home At no point was I unwilling to buy the vehicle due to paperwork. The transaction never progressed that far because the focus became the vehicle's mechanical condition and drivability concerns. My review was based entirely on my actual experience at the dealership. I also have photos and videos documenting the warning messages and condition of the vehicle during the test drives. I wish you and your team the best moving forward.

I purchased my SUV from Mirage Auto Sales April 2019 for $10k ($13k after taxes & warranty). Since…read morethen I have spent almost $5k in repairs, the most recent being the water & auxiliary pumps and sensor all having to be replaced. Even though the pumps were supposed to be covered under the warranty, I still had to come out the pocket almost $900. While the mechanic had my engine taken apart, he inspected it and told me that the engine is so badly corroded (see pic)....that he didn't think I would get any longer than 6 months out of the car and I shouldn't drive long distances with it. I haven't even gotten 2 full years out this car yet and still owe $10k!?!? Long story short.....BEWARE of the vehicle you buy from here. Most of the cars are older, have high miles and are cars that certified dealers would not sell themselves. Do your research...ask for the Car Fax, have car checked with a mechanic and/or compare Kelly Blue book, before buying. It's worth the extra few thousand dollars to buy from a certified dealership, because you could be spending that extra thousands of dollars in repairs anyways, on a car from here. Don't end up in my situation!!!

Right off the bat, the salesman asked if my wife and I were married, then immediately started hitting on her. Not exactly a great first impression. The finance department was also slow to process the trade-in payoff, which caused me to have to make another payment almost three weeks later. When I asked about it, they blamed "old processes," but the payoff instructions were clearly laid out in the documents they received from my lender. On top of that, they sent the registration without the plates, and it took another week before those finally showed up. Overall, the car itself is fine, but the buying process was scattered and unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this dealership unless they happen to have the exact vehicle you're looking for.

Now the bad: Bought a 2024 Nissan Rogue, within 2 weeks it needed a new battery, actually was stranded because the battery was that dead, not even a jump would help and the car went into limp mode... 1 week later check engine light came on... took it to the dealership to find out that the throttle body needs to be replaced. We notified Hertz as soon as we started having issues as the 1st 2 weeks of having the car we didn't drive it much since it was a birthday present for our daughter. Basically was told "to bad so sad, you bought the car as is"... I feel they knew there was an issue and sold it anyway. I asked to see the service paperwork but of course they don't have it.

I arrived within 40 minutes of the office closing and Monica went over and beyond to not only make sure that I was able to see the car that I liked but also to test drive it and try to find my next baby. I really appreciated Monica's conversation because she made sure that I knew how their office worked and the no haggle pricing. I explained to her that it wasn't my first car from hertz and she still made sure that she gave me any info that she could. I loved this car but didn't grab it because I found something that I was more interested in but I really would have been happy to buy this car with Monica's help if it were my first choice. Monica was really patient and personable at the bottom of her day. I was able to check out and drive a beautiful car. She even gave me her card and made sure that I knew that she would help me as much as possible if I needed anything. Thanks Monica! Hertz should be happy to have you. You're a gem!

I also liked the approach: respectful, to the point, prompt - very professional. These guys know what they sell and have confidence in it. Never purchased a vehicle out of state over the phone, and Daniel made sure to provide advice and support at every step of the process. The best part - it took less than a week from initial inquiry to final delivery. Paperwork was in good standing. They answered question and highlighted features but they did not come across as "used car salesmen", they let the car sell itself and let us decide if it was the right car for us. Buying process was simple and smooth. Just as we finished the purchase their team noticed an issue. They were not going to let us drive away without taking care of it which ment ordering parts which took a couple of days. They could have easily let us drive away and made it our problem. We were so appreciative of them DOING THE RIGHT THING!
