Hell no thank you i would not recommend this place at all. There are hidden fees. BEWARE. I went in to get a car title transfer and it advertise as $20-$45. Stupid me didn't look at all the fees until after I paid them and came back like 15 min later to ask about the fees and they charged me $125 in fees so I told him to cancel it and he charged me $25 for "PAPERWORK". I wanted to give this place a try as my customers told me about it. At first everything seemed great, but then they charge you for all different kinds of upsells. I will never go back there again. Quite good, they give you a big list of lessons and mini tests that allow you to challenge yourself. The final test at the end is given as many times as you need. My experience with the customer service was nice as well, they all responded almost immediately. The only downside is the price they charge but it's not a bad option. read more

Avoid. There's better sites with better service. We paid extra for reviews and other nickle and dime charges only for half of them to not work. Reviews of the chapter tests were coming back with server issues so our son couldn't even see the correct answers to questions he'd missed. We paid for a digital certificate on completion, but clicking on the link resulted in a "invalid URL" error page. Upon calling, we were informed that they don't even support WA except as instructional. Their certificate is useless for us. My wife and I tried to ensure we found a site that supported WA for our son. It was VERY unclear on their site and completely misleading. Basically, find a different site. This one is horrible. If you HAVE to use their site, be EXTREMELY sure their certificates are valid in your state. read more

Run from this company! You will see this review in many places because I want get the word out about how bad this company is! This was 1 of 3 companies our state was allowing homeschoolers to use for Drivers Ed (if in VA use FirstTimeDriver.com, same price and much better customer service). We paid for the course on Aug 19,2024, and the website said in 2 different places my son had 6 months to complete. On Feb 16, upon signing in to finish the 90 min parent/child portion, we are informed that the account expired. Customer service said we only had 180 days, which I explained is not the same thing as 6 months as August, October, December, and January have 31 days in them. Nowhere does the site say 180 days, only 6 months. During the time we had the account, the site has been down several times causing my son to not be able to log in. 24/7 customer service-NOPE, they are offline when you need them. Also, in the actual course, you have to wait a ridiculous amount of time per page (ex. Chap. 6 has 6 html pages with the average website textbook text. My son had to wait 40 mins before he could go to page 3 and on page 3 he had to wait 60 minutes before he could go to page 4. I thought he was exaggerating, so I sat with him and verified these times. My 3rd grader read page 3 in 15 mins and we still sat for another 45 before he could move on!) Chap 1 is all about getting a permit, but you have to have your permit before you can take this course! I could go on and on about what needs to be done better. But they will not give us the time I paid for, nor my money back. We were told we were out of luck, and I said I would review, so here it is. Choose ANY OTHER company, for your own sanity! read more

Virginia passed a law in summer 2022 requiring students to complete a 90 minute component in addition to the classroom portion of drivers ed. Rather than put new enrollments on hold, they continued to accept new students who then worked on the program until they couldn't any longer. My daughters have been held up for 3 weeks now, unable to move forward whild DETG works things out with the DMV. My biggest complaint is that rather than notifying their existing students/parents, they have not said a word, unless a customer chats in. Very poor customer service and I cannot recommend anyone use them. read more

Do not use!!!! You will wait forever for your certificate. Turns out they hold the certificates until they get a batch of 200-250 before mailing. I'm guessing for bulk mail rate discount. Like others, we have been waiting for 4 weeks and still no certificate, and we live 65 miles from the mailing location! THE LITERAL WORST!!! My daughter had the absolute WORST time trying to get through this course. EVERY single time she attempted to login, it did not recognize her voice and locked her out. It took ages for her certificate to finally show up, and when it did they had misspelled her last name. When we called to have it fixed, they made me pay $25 to have it reprinted stating it was "my fault". THEN - they sent it to a driving school in town we have never stepped foot into. Oh wait, there's more.... When it was time for my daughter to do the driving portion, we needed Drivers Ed to Go to transfer the certificate to the actual driving school in our town. You guessed it - another $25. My daughter finished these online classes in June. We received the transfer certificate on November 9. It has been one headache after another and a constant waiting game for them to send us what we need. Worst company I've ever had to deal with. read more

If I could give them a zero I would. The certificate of completion didn't have the right name and they wanted to charge me 30$ to get a duplicate sent to me. And told me it was because it was on special paper. It's not it's just regular paper and regular ink. Complete waste of your money for one simple name. Do not use!! I paid for overnight shipping to make sure we would get the certificate in time. They took the money right away and it's 5 days later and I still don't have the certificate. When I called they don't really seem to be concerned about my inconvenience. My appointment is today and the next appointment at any of the closest 5 DMVs are 2 months out. They won't do anything for the inconvenience they caused me. They informed me that they just shipped it out snail mail but haven't even refunded me the overnight shipping expenses. I am located in CA also is says same day processing and 35 dollars to have shipped and received by 5 pm next day. They are telling me they do not ship on weekends. This school is horrible. I got an email saying my child's in car certificate was mailed 1st week of May but I never got it. I called again last week and I asked why we never got it. They claimed they sent it but I don't buy it. I have gotten mails from my family in California and I have gotten them. It was really frustrating. This school was just recommended to me. This company is a scam. It so no where while I was signing up that my son would have to be homeschooled. He is not, he is enrolled in public schools. He got an email the moment I enrolled saying he has to be homeschooled. I called immediately (within 5 minutes) of processing payment to cancel his acccount and request a refund. This was on May 11. It is May 19, and still no refund. I spoke to them on May 15, and they assured me a refund was requested. Today I call PayPal and start a fraud case. They are a scam company. ABSOLUTE JOKE! Your certificate will not come in a reasonable time even if you upgrade. In some areas it takes months to get an appointment at DMV! There are so many upsells you do not know what you need and what you do not. I even upgraded to what looked like FED EX delivery after their rant about how usps is risking it. They sent it USPS signature required and I was not home. Now we are sitting waiting for redelivery by lovely usps and my daughter has a flight booked to go take her test in California TODAY! They do not inform you a digital file is useless either. They also try to sell you this BS thing. Nor will they even try to help you get a replacement on time and they are RUDE!! Awful customer service - I've been trying to get my certificate for insurance so I can get a discount. They refuse to email it so when I ask if they can mail it all they say is that it's too old to be valid. I don't need it to be valid. Then I don't get a response. I called and was on hold for 5 minutes before I hung up. I hated dealing with them and now I'm stuck with paying 200 extra a year for insurance. The actual course was easy, but there were somethings about it that bothered me. The curriculum does not look professional; there are LOTS of incorrectly spelled words, grammatical errors, among other errors that you wouldn't expect to see from a professional curriculum. Also, it did not always explain things well. I am a 4.2 GPA high school student and I had a really hard time figuring out what the heck they were talking about sometimes. As far as the whole not-recieving-certificates-on-time thing, I just finished the curriculum a few days ago, so I'm not sure how it will work out for me. However, I do know that one of my friends did the same curriculum and got her certificate fine. The most annoying thing about this curriculum is it did NOT teach a lot of signs, rules of the road, markers, and other things that you NEED to know to pass your permit test. I did some research and found a good website, http://driving-tests.org, that has practice DMV permit tests for all the states. I've only done half of the tests made for my state (California), but some of the questions they have on those tests are things you absolutely need to know to pass your permit test. Drivers Ed To Go did NOT teach me said questions. Some of them are common sense and I could figure them out and some of them were things I already knew, but most of the questions are things that a drivers ed curriculum should teach you. If you just need credits, this is a good curriculum to take. If you actually want to learn something, read the handbook you can get at your local DMV and do the practice tests on the website mentioned above. read more
