I brought my vehicle in to have the driver's side door window installed. I had already supplied the…read morereplacement window. During the repair, I was told that the window regulator was broken. I do not believe that conclusion was adequately supported. The original window had been shattered, but the regulator itself appeared intact. There are also repair instructions available for this model showing that proper access to the regulator requires removal of the exterior door panel. My concern is that the repair was being attempted without removing that panel. I personally observed the work being carried out this way. I tried to explain the procedure I understood to be required, but my information was dismissed rather than considered. With an uncommon vehicle such as this, it is entirely possible for an owner who has researched the repair to have useful information about the procedure. I would have appreciated a more collaborative approach, particularly before concluding that an additional component was defective. The interaction with the technician also became unnecessarily dismissive. I was left with the impression that the focus had shifted from determining how the repair could be completed properly to defending the original assessment. Ultimately, I had to drive home in the rain with the driver's window completely missing and the replacement glass sitting loose in the passenger area. I was particularly concerned about the safety of transporting a large piece of glass in that manner, especially in the event of a collision. My concern is not simply that the repair was unsuccessful. Repairs do not always go as planned. My concern is that I observed an attempt to complete the repair without removing the panel necessary to properly access the regulator, while the information I provided about the procedure was dismissed. I believe the situation could have been handled much more professionally by reconsidering the repair procedure, verifying whether the regulator was actually defective, and ensuring the vehicle was left in a safe condition before I departed.

After a few unsuccessful attempts at getting my (American) car inspected federally by the other…read moreauto service centre that does it in Saskatoon, called up Acura and made an appointment for federal and provincial inspections. Informed that it would be around $300 because they do a wheel alignment. Ok. Dropped off my car [at their old location on Circle east in August 2012] and asked for both Federal and Provincial again, and explained that other place problems. Got a call from Acura around noon confirming that I wanted the inspections and an oil change. I say: No Oil Change, but I do want the Federal and Provincial inspections. Pick up car later that day. Talk to the cashier who talks about the Federal inspection. Go to SGI 5 days later - the Acura Centre had failed to do the Federal inspection. I call them to ask and they said it was my fault because I hadn't asked them to do it! They then conveniently lost my signal and hung up. I will never go to them again. At least the other service centre only wasted my time going to them before being told that they couldn't do the Federal inspection that day (and again another day). They did not blame me for not doing it.

Bring it into toyota they stick me with a 89 dollar inspection bill stating brakes need to be bled and rears need to be greased they did not check the booster at all.. MY MAIN COMPLAINT. I went to complain to Larry who then said you cannot test a booster there's no way to check it I explained to him how you can and how I did. He then said well we will change the booster than at your cost i said i will do it my self and if that fixes the problem i want a refund he said ok I asked for that to be on paper as everything should be he then got angered with me and said well I could just do nothing for you if you dont trust me un professional customer service did not perform the work I asked.
