Sold me a very dangerous tire. Stay clear. Came here Oct 2020 for a set of used Conti performance…read moretires for my Golf R. Once I arrived I saw the tires were not in the advertised condition. One had some strange wear on the side of the tread, as though it had been drifted with. One was less than the advertised 70% tread, and one had a nail through the tread. After getting them to reduce the price and pull/patch the nail, they encouraged me to go to the convenience store ATM across the street to pay with cash. They took my info, but gave me no receipt. I figured they were honest as the guy said come back in 30 days for any warranty work. Tires felt ok, but one would throw a low pressure code after like 2 weeks. Figured there might be a VERY slow leak, so I put them in storage for winter and checked in March to see if I needed another patch/plug. Lost 15 PSI. I took the wheel to a local shop to diagnose where the leak was, and they found something I had missed. I was sold a tire with a PATCH IN THE SIDEWALL. Unbelievable that they would allow this to leave their shop and go out on the road. I can only imagine what would have happened, had this blown with my wife and newborn son in the car. Took me 2 months this spring to find a single replacement, and I'm out the money I spent. Emailed the shop and got no response, so here's my review: Stay far far away. Look at reviews on other sites and you will see similar stories. Yes, I should have found that patch before buying - save yourself the trouble. EDIT: Reached out to me after posting this review and refunded me for the one tire. Thanks guys. Added 2 more stars for service.
