Late Friday afternoon returning to Tampa from Hawthorne I had a blow-out of a tire that had radial tire separation, After stopping at 3 other tire centers along 301S and driving over 5 miles and not finding anyone willing to assist me in my hour of need I was pleasantly greeted by Christian @ Drive Center who saw me coming in all my glory sparks coming from the rim I was diving on and waved me right into the repair bay and assured me he would assist. What a team! 4 members were responsible in getting me rolling again..Jarqes @ the service desk and a gentleman who went to a warehouse @ 5 pm to retrieve a new tire and the individual who installed and balanced the tire onto my car are all superstars. They also got me a great price on a tire proving they did not take advantage of a motorist in distress with no other options. To those who assisted I have great news.. The scuffing damages from the slapping black rubber on the white paint all came out... fortunately there were no deep scratches left from the radial steel belts ( amazing) . What a nightmare So it's been a couple months now and the tire Alberto lied to me about is making noise now and losing air. I'm sure it's just a short time before I get them replaced again. I was actually at the grand opening of the original Tee Pee Tire on Hwy 200 over 20 years ago when I lived in Ocala. I've lived in and out of the state since they opened and they even expanded to Pine Av with the same professional efficient service as the 200 store.  I have lived in the Tampa Bay area for the last 11 years and since being back to Florida will even make the drive to Ocala for tires.  I've referred several friends to them who have also made the drive.   They are so much more than your regular Tire & Auto shop ---- they take time to listen, analyze and consult. They are very competitive with price and when I can't get to Ocala, they have even consulted with me over the phone.  Terry, Sheri, Doug & Lisa and even the Friday helper, Wrigley are wonderful to work with .... they make you feel like family! read more

Although I was pleased about my tires, on Friday of last week, I noticed that the hub cover to the rim was missing. I've had 5 or 6 tire changes in the past 22 years and never had a problem. I called today to see if I could get a new one. Michelle asked me to hold, she came back and told me that Doug told me that it was missing, he did not tell me that. It was the missing locking lug nut. I asked him to replace it, and Doug told me to call a junk yard. I did, but the tires and rims are too old. I asked him if he had any connections and he said sorry 'bout your luck. I mean things happen, but after 22 years, my missing hub cover suddenly disappears after they service my tires. My though that it wasn't replaced properly. I'm not going there again. read more

If I could leave a 0 star rating I would do it without hesitating. I called this place and requested a price on having my exhaust leak fixed on my exhaust flange. The problem was a simple broken stud. Instead of writing an estimate like a professional business would, they performed the work then called me and gave me an outrageous price. I then explained that they were supposed to call me before performing the work. His response was, "It was too late once we started on it." That was not sufficient answer coming from what I thought was a professional place of business. We went back and forth for a sec as to what I thought was a sufficient price. We came to an agreement on price. I then went to pick my vehicle up and he then told me that they had to burn the stud out of the flange. I am a mechanic and did the motor swap and all other work myself, so I know burning is a last resort. I didn't bother looking at the work that was performed while I was there because I work right down the road from them and we send all our vehicles to have work done. I looked at the following day they cut my exhaust flange with a cutting torch to get the stud out, then made an attempt at welding a washer on the top of the flange to get a bolt to hold, and the weld looks like a pile of bird shit. and the flange is now damaged beyond repair. The only way to fix the flange is to buy a whole new y pipe which is over $400 or take the y pipe off and cut the flange off and weld a whole new flange. To get the y pipe off, the engine has to be pulled. If I could add pictures I would add them for everyone to see. I cant even give them stars. I went there to fix my window. Next thing I know within 30 minutes. My radiator blew and my ac stop working, and some other crap. And at the end of the day almost cost me $1,000. Ridiculous. I won't say this plan is a scam but this shit does seem pretty suspicious. read more

They did a good job on my car, at a fair price. They could have tried to push to sell new tires, but they sold me a used set in good condition, and a good price, and I've been very happy with them. Its nice to work with an honest business, not out just to make a fast buck. read more
