He is very knowledgeable and wants you to get into the right car and will do everything he can to get you the right deal! We purchased the Toyota 4 Runner and couldn't be more impressed with all the features and someone that can help us understand them all and which one was best for us. Once we decided on the model, the finance team helped us get the best rate. Alberto Hernandez was very wonderful and quick!! We love our new car and couldn't be happier that we went to Joe Myers!! Also, before we drove to Joe Myers, we went to Fred Haas because they are so much closer. The salesperson there was knowledgeable and honest but were pushy and a bit condescending. We were so happy to find LUIS & ALBERT!!

As far as "working something out." I did not find anything of that sort offered. I did find out that the offending salesperson, a Josh..... was NOT fired. He just went back to work the next day, another notch on his unscrupulous salesman's belt. This condoning of his practices certainly points to joe myers toyota as a store that has NO morals, whatever. Who would have thought a used car salesman would have any? Does NOT excuse his behavior and his blatant, eye-to-eye LYING! BUT, he managed to sell me his car, or rather, the car he wanted me to buy instead of the one I wanted to purchase. Fraud! Management right up to the front office of Joe Myers INC. condones it. You decide whether or not you want to show up there to buy any car, used or new. Yesterday I received a refund check from JOe Myers, toyota for....$5. It was a return of an overcharge on the registration procedure. It seemed quite incongruous to me. On the one hand, I was defrauded by a lying salesman of a car costing $35,000+, but on the other, they made sure to return their $5 over charge for the registration papers. The graph above my first remarks stated previously shows the picture. There are some 5's for service done properly, but the bottom of the graph showing those totally unhappy with shopping at Joe Myers Toyota runs right off the graph! I did, finally sell the car I purchased from Joe Myer's stooge and now own the one I first walked into the Joe Myers toyota to buy. I used CARMAX to do it. The buying and selling experiences I have had with them are 180 degrees in pleasant experience from the Joe Myers, gang. I did lose $1500 though. Whenever you sell then buy a car you loose something. With Josh Rios, I lost the $1500.

On December 29th, my son went to John Eagle Honda to purchase a 2021 Nissan Altima--Unfortunately,…read morejust two weeks after purchasing the car, my son called to tell me that when he tried to start it, multiple warning lights appeared on the dashboard, including the check engine light. He took the vehicle to the nearest AutoZone, where he was told the airflow sensor needed to be replaced. He was also informed that it looked like someone had previously tried to replace the part because the screws appeared tampered with. I immediately contacted the dealership and spoke with Eddie, who directed me to Frank in Sales. Despite multiple calls from me, Frank refused to return them. Only recently did his assistant call back--simply to tell me that because there was no extended warranty, I was responsible for all repairs. I am deeply upset and feel that I was taken advantage of and sold a lemon, especially as a single mother trying to do the right thing for my child. This is not the level of integrity I expected from such a well known dealership. For comparison, when I purchased my car from Sewell Infiniti two years ago, a tire shop later discovered that the dealership had installed incorrect tires. Sewell contacted me immediately, asked me to return the vehicle, and corrected the issue at no cost. They admitted the car should have never left the lot in that condition. If Sewell could take responsibility for their mistake, why can't John Eagle Honda? To make matters worse, we still have not received the tags or license plates for the car. I believe this situation raises important concerns for other consumers, and I want to prevent anyone else from experiencing what my family has gone through.

DECEPTIVE AND MANIPULATIVE PRACTICES!!!Be careful!!! Very…read moredisappointing experience with the finance department. I waited nearly 5 hours only to be told I didn't qualify for the advertised 3.99% APR because I hadn't bought a car in the last 10 years--despite having excellent credit and stable employment for over a decade. They then tried to push me into a 10% APR, later "lowering" it to 7-8%, which felt like a clear attempt to extract more money. When I mentioned the Navy Federal had an offer of 4.29% for the same length, the finance guy acted surprised and pressured me to sign a contract that same night and come back the next day with pay stubs to "maybe" get the 3.99%. I refused. The next day, after my credit union confirmed I'm an eligible for their lowest current rate, the dealership suddenly called saying I was approved for 3.99% without the pay stubs. That says everything. This was a MANIPULATIVE and DECEPTIVELY experience. I strongly recommend securing your own financing and being very cautious with this dealership. Avoid the place if you can!!

When in warranty it was been the valve body the issue and work then stop. Well after the warranty was up I brought it back in for the same issue, now we must replace the transmission. Well, I paid 4k for the transmission, then I get a phone call saying it not the transmission it the Body Control Module it would be another 1800 dollars. I picked up my car because now im second guessing the dealership. Well, I got a phone call from the service manager to bring it back in, thinking to myself he is going to make it right as a business owner myself. NOPE says it the BODY CONTROL MODULE what the Mopar Engineer's are saying. Not even we are sorry for replacing the transmission, let's make it right (slap in the face with another 1800 dollars ). So, I take car back from them to send the Body Control Module off to do a reset since the dealership have no really technician just people that swap parts. Get part back from the reset the module and still not the issue so now I'm thinking in my head wow this dealership is a scam. Long story is I found the issue and it was something I just need to remove that cause the transmission not to shift correctly. You guys are a joke

I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent experience at your CarMax…read morelocation on Cyfair with salesman Patrick Cunningham. Mr. Cunningham initially reassured me that I could trust him despite my past negative experiences with other dealerships. I was preapproved for a 2020 Kia Sorento (navy blue) with a $2,000 down payment, and after test driving, I was very excited about the purchase. However, when it came time to finalize my income details, my down payment unexpectedly increased from $2,000 to $2,800--even though I had already chosen my bank and received approval. Since I could not afford the increased amount, I agreed to consider a different option--a 2019 Kia Sorento(burgundy). Mr. Cunningham assured me that this vehicle would be ready for pickup on Friday, September 12. On that day, he asked me for my Social Security number again, which I found unusual, but I complied under the assumption it was a verification step. To my shock, my credit was run two more times that morning. This not only further lowered my credit score but also caused my down payment to increase to $4,100--more than double the original agreement. The experience left me frustrated, upset, and in tears. Instead of offering genuine solutions, I was told my only options were to provide a co-signer or to pay the additional $2,000, which I did not have. For comparison, when I later visited your Southwest Freeway location, salesman Jordan provided outstanding customer service. He worked with me to find alternatives and successfully presented my original credit application to the bank. As a result, I was approved for the 2020 Kia Sorento with the original $2,000 down payment--exactly what should have happened from the start. Instead of picking up my car now I have to wait for the car to get shipped again to a different location further away. This situation caused unnecessary stress, financial strain, and wasted time. While I am happy to have ultimately received the car I wanted, the process at the Cyfair location was unacceptable and avoidable. I hope CarMax takes this feedback seriously and ensures that customers are not subjected to repeated hard inquiries, miscommunication, and misleading information during the car-buying process. I am giving two stars since I am getting the car I wanted originally.
