It's the beginning of Oktoberfest Season and this place is your "go to". If they don't carry it, they will try and order it for you. The owners and everyone who works there are super chill. We loved the arcade with several pinball machines and an old arcade cabinet with a few classics. The beer was IPA focused and they are masters at making tasty beer that hides the alcohol. I smoked a few and loved them all: Helmet Nachos, Everybody Wants Some, and South of Eleven. Good truck is just outside. We ordered and loved the southwest nacho fries. Tasty and a huge portion. Staff were uniformly friendly and answered our questions (I had many about the beers). Definitely will visit again when heading to Columbus.

The beer that Steve and I had was the Red Band which is a lager which I enjoy the majority of the time. Flavors to find with hopefully fun involved are malty, sweet (a natural sweetness probably from the flaked corn involved), hoppy, crisp and clean in the finish. Typical for this beer type it was light bodied also. Swag was indeed purchased here as I knew the likelihood of this happening was high and I got a very nifty t-shirt from the transaction.

No food offerings but staff was quick to suggest local options easily within walking distance. The beers were very good. I enjoyed their ESB then a Hefeweizen. Both well made and tried to style. Kind of a bummer to miss their cask offering for the week as it tapped out the night before. The city was so nice that we'll be back and I'll try the cask at that point.

The place is well marked with a huge gravel with some grass parking lot directly across the street. There is a crosswalk abd good visibility on this country road. Frankly this is my favorite event place of all that I have been to. Plus apparently they are open at other times for the public. Clean, huge, but still extremely attractive where you didnt feel like you were in a large school cafeteria. AMPLE outdoor space as well. Picnic tables with red umbrellas. My experience with brewerys is that for those of us not into beers, iPAs, ales, your choices are minimal or yucky. Not here, we could choose from 4 pages of selections for our event. My problem was there were so many of them I wanted and an equally good selection for hubby who IS into brewery stuff. I got a blackberry or something bramble and hubby got a yellow something. He loved it. I tasted it and nope, don't like brewed stuff. I think this is a great choice for an event or just to come when they are open to the public. Exceptionally friendly and competent employees
