Mr. Emil Hadad just rent me a defective/broken car for a 100$ for two days and 500$ deposit. 30 minutes after I got the car I return it because it was literally dangerous to drive and Mr. Emil refuse to refund me or compensate me for my time that i spent (almost 1.5 hour to get the car) and the inconvenience. After an argument he was willing to charge me for 40$ for a broken car that I had for a 30 minutes. Also, in the contract they wrote that I got a full gas tank while I had less than 1/4. I want to focus one one problem which has now happened twice. Avis rented a Chevy Malibu to me and while driving to Las Vegas the CHECK ENGINE OIL light came on. That makes me nervous as I'm driving my family through Death Valley. I took the time to purchase oil and ultimately swapped the car prior to the return drive across the desert. That's time and money taken from my trip. And it has happened twice, with two different vehicles. The time it took to make the transfer of vehicles made it impossible to return the car to Woodland Hills on time. So I was charged for an extra day. I'd like to see these companies put more effort into vehicle maintenance so that these things don't happen to us.
