I really like this place. I go to the school too, just located inside the school. Fresh coffee every morning.

I really liked how this place was in my college. Once I got a hot chocolate at this place and it was so good.

They have so many options to choose from. There are pastries, Turkish delights, chocolates, cookies, and more. I picked up a bunch of different items and genuinely liked everything I tried. Just a heads-up that it is on the pricier side, so be prepared for that. There's also limited seating inside (only a few tables), so it's more of a grab-and-go place.

What really stood out was its use of saffron, rosewater, nuts, and aromatic spices. These flavors that feel a bit exotic and perfect for anyone who enjoys trying new desserts. The woman at the counter was friendly and offered recommendations based on what first timers would order. Honestly, choosing wasn't easy... everything looked tempting! I ended up going with a few cookies and baklava. They were delicious, but expensive. Mine was nearly $30 and I didn't pick a lot of items. The vibe inside is cozy and welcoming. I saw comfy seating and decor that feels warm and inviting. Since I came near closing, I didn't get a chance to try their Persian tea or Turkish coffee. I definitely would do that next time because other reviewers do recommend this along with a pastry or maybe two ;)

Even though the small sized gelato cup looked small, it was surprisingly heavy and dense. For the large sized cup, they allowed three different flavors. The kids gobbled up the gelato quickly without offering any of the parents a taste. The iced blueberry lavender latte was very refreshing. The flavors were subtle and didn't overwhelm the coffee. It was on the sweet side until the Ivlce started to melt. They had a bowl of doggy treats next to the door, which was very nice if them. There's a parking lot behind the cafe.

The coffee I had (vanilla honey latte) was woefully light in any coffee flavor. It mostly tasted like sugar milk. The "cinnamon"scone I ordered, turned out to be a cinnamon RAISIN scone. That is an important difference that was not advertised. I am okay with raisins, but would have chosen a different scone had I known that. It was a mediocre scone that I would not order again. As other reviewers have noted, there are no prices on the menu board. It is a guessing game as to the prices and you do get a surprise when things are rung up. I don't like the lack of disclosure. They don't take cash. Now, this is clearly stated on the sign by the counter and I do understand the business reasons for doing this, but I am not fond of limiting customer options to only using cards. I will not be returning.

There was a mix of people studying, working, and chatting with friends; it's a very lively community spot. Despite how chaotic it was, the space was generally clean and the service was great. The cashier made sure to get our names and address us by them. The decor is beautiful, feeling intentionally designed. I thought it was really cool that they have a slow coffee bar area specifically for pour overs (I think) where tech isn't allowed, so people are just supposed to sit and enjoy their coffee. I've never seen that before in a coffee shop. The menu is extensive. Since it was later in the day, the baked goods were half off, which was a nice surprise. I got a blueberry latte and an Asian fusion focaccia bread. Blueberry latte - I liked this! The blueberry flavor was subtle and not overly sweet or artificial tasting. It added a light fruity note to the coffee without overpowering it. Fusion focaccia bread - This was tasty, but I felt the original price was steep ($12). My piece was around 6" x 3". The shiitake mushroom flavor was strong and I loved the addition of scallions and Chinese sausage sprinkled throughout the bread. Overall, this is such a cool addition to coffee culture in the South Bay. It feels like shop from a big city like SF, NYC, or Chicago instead of little ol' SJ. The ambiance and options are solid, and it has a vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. You can be a casual coffee drinker or a coffee snob and it will be a satisfying experience.

I will say the black salt on the top was a lil strong. I didn't realize and took one huge bite of salt and ended up having to scrape some off the rest of the bread - Gochujang corn cheese scallion focaccia: Very big, generous slice. I would like more corn cheese throughout the bread. Good service, nice space with seating, but can get busy. Please do clean up after yourself if you decided to sit.

I LOVE hojicha, definitely my favorite over matcha. The hojicha sesame is light with hojicha whipped cream and soft sponge cake. The gateau is almost like a firm, almost buttery cookie base with whipped sesame cream on top. The matcha tiramisu was very good! Not too sweet and the matcha cream is smooth. Injeolmi cake was moist and slightly powdery due to the soybean powder. Definitely try this during your first visit! The Korean Saal was interesting since there was soft rice layered between cake layers in the cream. Carb lovers will enjoy this. Dubai chewy cookie is good for what it is. Excellent amount of crispy kataifi filling with pistachio butter cream. Pricey slices but it's nice to have a sweet treat every now and then. Staff is nice and courteous. Here's what we got: **Sunny Side Up Matcha Einspanner $7.75: A vibrant matcha base topped with a dollop of silky whipped cream, finished with a sunny side up 'egg' where the yolk is a sweet mango syrup. This drink had me saying "Oh wow!" after taking the first sip. After the second sip, it was "Was that a really ripe mini chunk of fresh mango?" This was so well executed that it felt effortless. It wasn't overly sweet-- the Matcha and the Mango flavors blended together beautifully yet you could make out the flavors of both. I usually scoff at how expensive drinks are these days but I could justify the price on this. **Black Sesame Coffee Einspanner $7.50: Signature espresso drink with our house-made Black sesame cream with your choice of milk. Another hit. I love Black Sesame and when I can find it, I order. This was also on par with the Sunny Side up because of how distinctly flavorful it was. You can taste the nuttiness of the black sesame seeds. Add in the espresso and it makes for a coffee that you could gulp down. Both of these drinks are dangerous because if it was up to me, I could have probably drank these both in under 5 minutes. Sigh.

The menu offering is limited but has enough variety to please most palates including kids as they do offer hot chocolate. The lavender latte was delicious. The coffee beans had a deep flavor reminiscent of Vietnamese coffee. The lavender flavor was unlike any other. It didn't have that artificial syrup taste. It wasn't overly florally, instead it just enhances the coffee without overpowering. Even more so, the vanilla latte was even better because that Madagascar bean flavor really shines through. I recommend getting this one if you're unsure what to order. We got to chit chat with the owner and he makes all the syrups from scratch. Both the lavender and vanilla bean syrup are homemade which is why you can really taste and appreciate the difference. The owner was very personable, open to criticism and all around a pleasant person. He seemed very knowledgable about coffee and clearly passionate about what he does. One thing I really appreciated was the temperature of the coffee. The lattes were served nice and hot. They prioritize the coffee experience rather than latte art which I appreciated.
