A friendly staff with a cozy environment . The menu isn't the most extensive but definitely full of tasty items. The white chocolate mocha is delicious and all of the sandwiches are pressed upon order which is definitely a plus. They have a loyalty program so be sure to check in when you visit . The prices are very reasonable in comparison with others in the area. Seating and parking is really hit or miss but there is street parking available for free for 2 hrs. This place is buzzing early morning and around lunch time so plan accordingly . read more

I have been to this cozy place few times and have always liked the service, the drink menus along with the snacks and sandwiches. What prompted me to write this review though was the amazing and heart-warming service the attendants provided to a homeless lady just few moments ago. The lady walked in and asked if she could get a cup of coffee, the smiling attendant politely and kindly asked if she would like any bakery items to have with her coffee. (I have been in this situations many times and this have been a rare interaction for sure) The lovely lady is sitting inside enjoining her coffee and the snack, and I just saw the barista approaching her with a menu, sitting next to her and asking what she would like next. We stopped in this coffee shop while on an Atlanta Movie Tour. Our guide was showing us a clip of "hall pass", which was filmed here, so that made the whole visit fun! The staff was friendly and helpful. I got a kombucha, husband got an iced coffee, and we shared a slice of key lime almond pound cake which was unique and delicious. Drip is one of my favorite places in the area for food, coffee, or just to sit and work. The staff is super nice and efficient, and I have to note, they all have really cool styles! I have enjoyed every item I have ordered from Drip, from iced coffees to breakfast sandwiches to their delicious and unique baked goods. Their cream cheese danish is my weakness. They have somewhat limited outdoor seating (it fills up often); however, they recently opened up their indoor seating again, and most people wear masks. I got off work a little early to avoid the 5 o'clock traffic getting to the area and I was lucky to get here in 30 minutes from Midtown. Around here is all street parking only, with many spots marked with a 2 hour limit. After parking in one of those, I ventured over. The shop isn't super cozy, but it's better than a Dunkin Donuts, I suppose, and some of the more sterile Starbucks. I would think it to be a good professional meeting spot, but not the most comfortable place for chilling. I ordered a cappuccino and a biscotti before settling into a small table by the window. Free wifi is available, which was all I needed to get some urgent work finished. Big work groups, meetings, families, or even solo people walked in to grab a cup of coffee to go, stay behind to chat, or just chill. It's a friendly environment. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again, but if I'm ever in this area again, I know Drip is dependable. read more

The bacon cooked to perfection the egg fried magnificently, the sharp cheddar cheese reminded me of the safety scissors given out in elementary school. I thought this place was cute, but I saw a roach in the restroom. In all honesty, roaches are everywhere. They are located in almost all corners of the Earth so it's not shocking a coffee shop with pastries has it, but I was still grossed out seeing it and so 3 Stars, not 4. Probably will never happen again but a roach in the restroom is especially disturbing. It is a Cute spot. Great seating options and wall chargers. They have coffee, tea and food. Great location! Fairly clean otherwise , gender neutral restrooms. Service is warm and friendly. Didn't taste the food but looks yummy and they have ice cream! I would go back again, I think, if I don't remember the roach. Lots of restaurants nearby and parking is street or in a lot. read more

I really like this Drip. Great addition to North Oremewood Park or like the yuppies and hipsters like to call it 'Glenwood Park.' This is one of my favorite spots to work remotely. Internet is fast enough and doesn't cut off like Octane Coffee on Memorial. I also like the fact that I always see other folks working on their laptop here, which gives me some social energy to focus on my task. They also have decaf Americano-- works for me since during my detox, not allowed to consume caffeinated beverages -- but I'm addicted to coffee- its in my blood. read more

I moved to the Eastside a little over a year ago and wasn't able to find a go to coffee shop close by. I was told to check this spout out through a friend, so deciding to hit it up Tue & Thurs of this week. I got the mocha w/almond milk & egg + cheese croissant sandwich with pepper jack and sriracha...DUMB good! They place is chill and cozy with a different crowd and vibe at different hours of the day. its in a village of shops and condos in Glenwood park so there's ample parking all over. The people working here are very courteous and knowledgable. I had been a faithful and loyal Octane dweller in the past, but felt it was less welcoming and a little bit too "hipster" at times. This coffee shop is way more intimate and allows you to get hella work done without being bothered by disruptions. I've been obsessed with checking out Drip ever since I saw "What to Expect When You're Expecting" (2012) starring Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Elizabeth Banks, Anna Kendrick, Matthew Morrison, Dennis Quaid, Chace Crawford, among other famous names. It was set in Atlanta and they had a scene or two at Drip Coffee. It looked really awesome in the movie! I guess in real life it was almost as awesome, but they could have filmed it at the other location. I think they also featured Drip in the VH1 show called "Single Ladies" which I was obsessed with before it was cancelled-almostcancelled-cancelled-notsure. The coffee shop is really nice though! Ormewood/Glenwood Park is pretty and seems up-and-coming but also seemed a little boring. Maybe it was because it was memorial day and everyone was busy doing other things or it could have had to do with the fact that it was about to rain, but it was a little quiet in the area. But it was nice to get some drinks from Drip and go outside and sit down in the little park up front. Drip is right next to Gunshow, which I haven't tried yet but is definitely bookmarked so hope to do a Drip & Gunshow evening one day. Drinks wise, I did not get to try the coffee yet, but the smoothies are really good! I tried both the mango and the strawberry one and they tasted really sweet and fresh. Barista was really friendly. This place is so nice!! The staff is so engaging and sweet. I ordered the Chai 16oz and the Turkey Pesto when i first arrived in the afternoon and it was absolutely delicious. 10/10. I destroyed it when i got it, so there was no chance of me getting a picture of it, but trust me it's worth getting a second and third time. Since i stayed so late working with a friend i ended up splitting the tomato basil soup and a grilled cheese sandwich and it also smacked. Im sure nothing on their menu is bad so i'll be back frequently. Theres such a nice area surrounding the shop and the people who are in the neighborhood are so friendly. The owner works alongside the employees and you see that they care about the concoctions they are making you. On this occasion, we had cheddar-egg croissants. Flaky, fresh, savory. It's: kid friendly business-friendly studying-friendly a good place for a first date or blind date sunny and nice Insider tip: There's parallel street parking, but also a lot slightly behind it. It looks like it'sfor the townhomes, but there's a public lot as well. Environmentally, they use good products and offer you your drink in a "for here" cup if you'd like to sit a while. There are places to plug up at throughout the cafe, I just wish there were a few more. It's not a huge place but is very intimate. The customer service was excellent through the two employees that I interacted with. I would definitely come back and skip the chain places. He seemed annoyed by my mere presence, and whenever I asked a question, he responded in a tone that seemed to suggest he though I was a dumbass. Given the COVID 19 craziness, you'd think small businesses would be especially warm and friendly, but that's not the case at drip. This isn't the first unfortunate encounter I've had with this barista, but I figured I'd give it another shot. I've been super hesitant about writing this review as I have patronized this establishment for over two years and have had some pretty good experiences by staff. Even to the point, a few know me by name. Anytime family or friends come to town, I always make sure to stop by and show them my "favorite neighborhood" coffee shop. More times than not, I usually bring my own coffee container, brown sugar and recently I've started bringing my own Oat Milk. I couldn't help but notice not one but more than 3 times when I bring the above 1 of 2 things will happen: 1. The owner will fill the cup below the small size that I order 2. If the owner is not serving me he watches and correct the server that "that is too much coffee." Fortunately this last time, the young lady let him know I had Oat Milk in the container from the beginning. Usually, I turn the other cheek like I have the other times but I am seriously frustrated with how he has zero shame in this behavior and cares so little about my me, to be that bold and treat me like that. If there was a problem with the amount, why not pull the worker aside after I leave and discuss it then. Shoot, if it is that big of a deal use a small cup to measure the amount of coffee then poor it in my cup. Y'all its black coffee, its not gold flakes topped on a flat white large drink. Needless to say, I have decided that I will no longer patronize this establishment. Please, do better. read more

During this COVID-19 pandemic, I've been dreaming of the day I get to return to my cozy corner spot at Drip. Yes their drinks are tasty, but honestly, I keep returning for the environment. I appreciate the modest space and how the baristas foster genuine welcome there. The big windows, outlets all around (a must-have!), well-crafted playlists, and different seating options make getting work done both productive and enjoyable. Drip is the second closest coffee shop to my house, but it's my first choice! They have consistently delicious coffee, multiple food choices, and a cool atmosphere. I normally stop in on the weekend and pretty much stick to my large dark roast with soy milk. They serve Batdorf and Bronson coffee, which is locally roasted and so good! I hear the espresso drinks are legit but I'm a drip coffee kind of gal most of the time so I can't confirm. The food options are plentiful- quiches, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, granola bars, etc. Normal breakfast fare. There are also a variety of pastry options. I recently got hooked on the vegan zucchini bread. It's amazingly moist and dense and also locally made. Also keep an eye out for their adorably delish tea cakes. I've tried both the bday cake and a seasonal pumpkin one. The service at Drip is good. I've never encountered baristatude (it's a thing- look it up) and the shop is clean and organized. There is ample seating indoors as well as a few tables outside. Parking can be a pain if you are looking for street parking but if you drive past the coffee shop there is a lot around back that is open to the public. The location is in a mixed use area surrounded by a few other restaurants, town homes, and apartments. Drip fits in perfectly. read more
