I visited Lancaster, PA to use my free Marriott Rewards night (and used points for my 2nd night) and had never been to the area. I don't recall the person who gave me the Drift Away massage but it's an amazing experience - very relaxing and restorative. The only reason for my 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that it's a bit pricey for just under 50 minutes and though it was recommended to me to book this one, I think a deeper tissue massage would have been better for me. This massage felt great while it lasted but didn't address the knots in my back/shoulders at all, which is what I really needed. They are wonderful there, however, and relaxing in the room beforehand with tea and water was very nice. read more

I just had another facial with Heather and the only thing I can say is Amazing!! Heather completely makes me drift away to another place every time I visit. The whole drift experience is a 10 out of 5 stars. Drift spa delivers a luxurious spa experience like no other in Lancaster. The atmosphere is stunning and completely zen. I received the "Sublime" facial. And Wow! It was hands down the best facial I've ever received. The atmosphere was super zen and comfortable. The products felt and smelled amazing. I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about this gorgeous spa. Oh...the robes...they are so comfortable. I didn't want to take mine off. When I checked out they told me that the adjacent indoor pool will be open soon...and spa guests will be able to end their stay by lounging at the pool. I just have to express how excited I am about the opening of the Drift Spa! I had one of the best facials I've had in a long time! The facility is so tranquil. The rooms are so warm and cozy and the staff is very professional and welcoming. The fact that it is in downtown Lancaster in the beautiful Marriot is a great plus. Without a doubt one of the best spa experiences I've ever had. From the moment you walk in to second you leave is relaxing. The champagne and tea in the relaxation room adds to it for sure! The staff is very attentive and the owner was super sweet. I received a facial and massage while there. My skin has never felt so good. I feel like I got a whole new face. They have a farm to face line that I am officially obsessed with. I was in town for a wedding and went to their sister salon for a style. It was just as amazing. I think this is more a 3.5 overall, because it's a perfectly suitable small hotel spa especially if they make some tweaks. However I found the women's changing space to be really small (and I was the only one there when I visited, can't imagine having it full with 2 or more people) and while everything else was clean, I had to clean hair out of the shower drain. I also had to dig through piles of robes looking for one that fit me. I'm a women's size 18-20 and the check in lady gave me a Large even though I had requested an XXL in the web form they sent me. I could only find an XL on the shelves and couldn't find the lady again once I was undressed. Maybe they have bigger somewhere else or in the men's area. Having an ill fitting robe made it hard to relax, especially given the pre-treatment area lounger bed things are uncomfortable and angled so it's possible for someone walking by to see up your robe if it's not sized right. The beds are really close together too because it's such a small space. The massage itself was ok, the therapist was experienced but maybe a little more chatty than necessary. The toiletries in the shower were nice and there is a hair dryer and such so you can get ready if you're not going back up to your hotel room after. If you're thin this would probably be a nicer experience, if you're over an XL make sure to bring your own robe or ask them before you're undressed for a larger size. read more
