I would give this spot more than 5 stars if I could. I even created a Yelp account JUST for the sole purpose of rating this massage center positively. It is hole-in-the-wall and a very low-key spot -- I called a week prior to schedule a massage for myself and my mom and they did not even ask for my name, phone number, any prepayment, nothing! In quintessential majority world fashion, the assumption is that you will just show up and they'll take care of you. That's part of what makes this place so great! Amy and Angela gave my mom and me some of the best massages we have ever had. We asked them for massages on the softer side and both masseuses continued to check in with us throughout the duration of our hour-long massage to see if the pressure was to our liking. They were both thorough, thoughtful and well-versed on anatomy to make for an excellent massage. The room was clean, neat, smelled incredible and had soft, calming music playing. At one point in the massage, they used hot rocks to work on the muscles in our backs and legs -- all of which felt amazing and rejuvenating. Be prepared: they seriously work the muscles in your glutes, moving your underwear around so they can work effectively at massaging the area. I personally loved it because so much strain is placed on your glutes from daily walking, running, movement and even sitting. How do I give half a star? This place is extremely disappointing and unprofessional. It was a gift and I almost walked out. They wouldn't accept the Groupon we already purchased and said it was for a single massage even though we booked a couples. They argued with us saying they wouldn't make money if they gave us a couples massage. The waiting area is dumpy and without warmth or decor and the massage room was not pleasant in the least. I highly advise anyone to just spend the extra money and go to a real spa if you want good service in a nice atmosphere. read more

We scheduled a couples message and when we arrived we were told the appointment was canceled. They were extremely rude and unprofessional. She kept yelling at us saying we didn't answer her call when she called to tell us it was canceled when in fact the message did not say the appointment was canceled. Overall a horrible experience. We were gifted this offer. Got the couples massage. From the reviews I read before coming was red flags. Then I called to make the appointment and they were unprofessional on the phone. Booked my appointment but didn't ask me my name or number. They ended up calling me another day and questioning if I had an appointment so they definitely got days wrong. Now When we arrived we immediately got put into a room with one bed.. they didn't say much and walked out to finish with another customer paying. We could hear everything and there was definitely an issue about tipping. Well we finally get brought into another room with two beds. There was a sign on the wall that said not to ask about a happy ending. So that says a lot. Chinese place, don't speak English well. They never had us fill any paperwork out... didn't ask if we were allergic... nothing. Just if we wanted light or medium pressure. The massage itself wasn't awful but wasn't great. It's you get what you pay for basically kind of thing. At some point I felt tickled another time it was hurting whatever she was doing. Then at least 5 times there was a loud bell sensor that kept going off during our massage. Then another worker comes in the room to talk... then they turn this fan on while half my body was uncovered so now I'm cold.. the stones they used were pretty hot. I'm glad we got this for free, just tipped. Wouldn't recommend if you are looking for top notch service. If you're broke but want a back massage go for it. read more

Zero stars. Place is a joke. Scheduled a massage finally after having a very hard time doing so on the phone with staff, even called to confirm. Day of appointment we go to our couples massage we arrive and the place was suppose to open at 9am our appointment was for 10am. Doors locked and not a single light on or anybody answering the phone. I tried to call back so many times and have never once been able to get ahold of anybody. Cannot believe they are still in business considering these other incredibly disturbing reviews. First off I have never experienced a massage location that all the "Therapist" whore jeans!!!! Yes Jean to massage a client! I booked a couples message for my niece & I that ended up being a single because my therapist was over 30mins late. Thus I sat in the room watching the therapist working on my niece leave the room 4 times and one time answer her phone as she walked out !!!  What who in the pits of hell does some crazy mess like that. Then her "Co Therapist" kept walking the hell in talking to my nieces therapist. Like are you freaking kidding me..  This place should be shut down until all staff is properly trained!!!! Have been here many times now. Ongoing aches and pains from trade work. They do a good job addressing sore spots, have a working knowledge of anatomy, and are able to really help. Limited English, but you can't beat the work they put in. The deep tissue massage isn't always pleasurable, but it's therapeutic. They ALWAYS ask about the pressure you want. Much cheaper and better massages than the foofy spas. read more

Good experience with this massage. I wish that there was a better aroma in the room however for the price It makes sense. I didn't like that the masseuse pulled my underwear down so low or so high but I didn't feel like he was trying to be creepy or weird. However, he was very rude about the tip! I was going to tip $25 on the $100 massage. When I went to pay, the massage was $105 and I told him to add a $25 tip. He then made a scene about "just 25" and made my boyfriend feel so bad he said $50.... very annoying and unprofessional because $25 was a good tip (25%). I really hate writing bad reviews..BUT..I have to share my experience. I got a massage here & the girl who gave me mine was very inappropriate. I left my underwear on with a towel over my lower half but almost immediately after she started, she pulled both completely down below my butt! I actually said "what the hell" and with both my hands I pulled my underwear & towel back up to cover myself. As we went on, she constantly had one hand pressing on my butt between my cheeks as her other hand massaged my back. I asked FOUR times if she would please take her hand off or if she could stop touching my butt. At one point when she went to do my leg, she completely shifted my underwear & towel to expose my entire butt cheek & I said no, leave me covered and I covered myself back up, AGAIN. And you could tell she was getting annoyed by me constantly saying this! I was so uncomfortable, I couldn't relax. Every time she stopped, I was nervous about where she was going to touch me next. At the end, I politely declined her rubbing my head & she actually just left the room, UPSET! I was with my mom in the same room & she heard most of what I'm describing. So when my masseuse just left the room in a huff, without saying anything, I looked over to the one who was doing my mom & asked if it over? She said yes. I looked at my mom & said "LET'S GO". I admit, I should've stopped it sooner but I was trying to be nice & I mostly didn't want to ruin it for my mom. Her masseuse didn't do anything like this to her & she had a good experience. Had I been alone, I know I would've walked out before the hour was up. I'm honestly wondering if my masseuse was licensed now. I know I will never go back there & I admit I feel completely violated by the girl who kept exposing me & touching me inappropriately. read more

Lisa was great re quality of massage, amt of pressure used, hot stones etc but she had to leave my massage room 5 times to either answer ph 2x, greet people walking in or to get things. They need to let calls go to voice-mail if busy w/ a client & put a sign out front that says, " we will be with you shortly, are busy with clients" or something for people walking in. Also, I found it a little hard to communicate with Lisa re sore/ injured spots on my body I didn't want her to touch or places I WANTED her to focus on like certain tight areas, to use more pressure etc - she needs to work on her English. I bought an extra $30 of time b/c I was enjoying the experience. At the end, she declared loudly in front of other clients sitting there that she thot my tip was not enough! I had forgotten about a tip b/c I used a gift certificate & tipped $5 on the 1/2 hr I purchased. She said " that not enough tip" for all to hear. I was not trying to be cheap, I was thinking of a tip on the $30 I spent, forgetting re cost of whole session, so I doubled it to $10 under pressure. It is my experience that proper customer etiquette is NOT to embarass your client & demand a higher tip than what they CHOOSE to leave. A tip is NOT mandatory, it is a customer's choice. Lisa needs to learn better customer protocol - you do NOT demand a tip or embarrass a client by complaining publicly re whatever tip they choose to leave . A better way is to ASK, " WOULD YOU LIKE TO LEAVE A TIP ON YOUR $90 session ? ", reminding client of what session cost, they then can CHOOSE to leave a tip or not on full cost. Overall quality good, they just need to improve their English communication skills that are important to give the client a good massage experience, not leave the client's massage session so frequently & work on customer etiquette/ protocol.otherwise, Lisa was a great massage therapist. Also, at start of my appt, about 10 mins was wasted as there was some confusion re where my gift certificate verification was- they might need to log those somewhere separately for ease of access. read more
