As a walk-in massage place, particularly great! Once inside it does feel like a little oasis and way more than the outside suggests. They have fountains/plants... quiet, comfortable seating for anyone waiting...super clean and impeccable interior. As far as I'm aware a woman and man work here. I've been here when one or both are working. They are both great. I'd give the woman the slight edge in amazing massage...she also walks on you... tho the fellow is also great and seems to be able to see what really is in need of attention from like a mile away.... If you want a particular experience just call and pre-arrange.. even on the same day you can make appointments. I've also tried their hot stones. Also good if of interest to you. Everyone gets a hot towel wipe down-- nice. I give them them extra thumb up for-- great massage that's walk-in and at an exceptionally reasonable price!, nice clean and oasis-like facility, someone capable of walking on your back-- a particularly special plus! The therapist was very sweet and had a great healing energy. The therapist was up front that she didn't understand English very well, which wasn't a problem for me because she understood the important things, like where my knots were. It was also a different style of massage than many Lancaster Countians may be used to. It was more of a Thai style which is more hands on. I'm not very modest or shy when it comes to massages, so again, not a problem for me. I would recommend others to be clear about which areas they do not want massaged- pecs, stomach, glutes, for example, if that's an issue. I loved the attention to my knots and free hot stones! It left me loose and pain free for a month. I'll be back.

They put us in 1 room together which was weird. The girls chatted to each other for about 15 minutes or so. Although they whispered, were not feeling relaxed due to this. I had to ask to put music on. The doorbell chimed and the girl for my mom went to take care of whoever walked in!! Then the phone rang and my masseuse went to get the phone. The messages were fine. Then after I went to the restroom, coming out to give tips and grab my coat and my mom, they point blank asked me for a tip and told me how hard they work and they have sore muscles. Feels like a cookie-cutter corporate-run business designed to rope me into paying more money by looking posh. Most staff members are nice; just be aware, they'll pitch you a membership (i.e. monthly subscription to their services) on your first visit (which doesn't save you any money compared to just paying per-visit). My second time there, I arrived 5 minutes late and someone behind the counter, after greeting me, informed me that my massage would be shorter than scheduled because I was late. I said okay and went back to look for the restroom. In the hallway a therapist intercepted me with an unfriendly, monotone "Are you [name]?" and when I confirmed, she ushered me into my massage without asking whether I needed anything (like to go to the bathroom) first. I didn't feel free to interrupt her since I had been late. That massage felt aggressive--like she was getting some pent-up frustration out on me. Not pleasant. When I had a facial, it felt like it helped my skin, but the person who gave it repeatedly told me I really needed to be using this, that, and the other product on my skin, and generally came across like they thought I was dumb for just washing my face with soap like people have done for hundreds of years and for not remembering the brand of moisturizer I'd been using. On the other hand, I've really enjoyed the massages and conversation from a couple of the other therapists here. Like I said, hit or miss. Overall I recommend a couple of the small, independent massage therapy businesses in the area far and away over MassageLuxe.

I recently had a complete left hip replacement. Said yes and went in to wait as it was already 10:15 since our original massages were supposed to be at 10:00. We sat down and the lady popped out of the room where she was with the man to tell us we couldn't wait in the spa because we didn't have on a mask. I pulled out a mask and she told me we still had to leave. We went outside to wait and watched another man enter the spa and he was not asked to leave. At that point we decided to leave because I'm pretty sure I this in not your regular massage parlor and I didn't really want to give money to that kind of business or have the hands that were doing Lord only knows what to those men touching my body.
