I am so glad I selected Pro+Kinetix and was well worth the drive for me. Dr. Emma helped my ankle immensely, and I learned so much from her. I recently completed a trip abroad and did major hiking and cobblestone walking in sandals and did not get another injury, which felt inevitable. This is a credit to her! She is super knowledgeable about all parts of the body, but seems to also be a real expert and very skilled in feet and ankles. Dr. Emma was also motivating, but never made me feel bad when I didn't accomplish all of my at-home exercises. She is so friendly and personable and I looked forward to seeing her. Can't say enough great things about Dr Kelvin! I first booked the checkup after several months of…read morelower back pain from a tweak during deadlifts. During this time I put as little strain and exercise on my back as possible because I didn't want to strain it again, which turned out was the wrong thing to do. In our first meeting, he was quick to diagnose that it was most likely a muscle strain and not a hernia or spine problem, and he started me on small strengthening exercises to get the muscle moving again and blood flow to the area. Over the next couple weeks, we progressed to light squat and deadlift exercises again, and my back felt considerably better. After a few sessions, I tweaked my back again when I foolishly decided to lift too heavy, and Dr Kelvin helped me work through the strain with more core strengthening exercises and light workouts. After 6 sessions I feel better than ever, with the pain lessening by the day! I'm going back to the gym on a regular basis and starting to play sports again too, which I thought would be nearly impossible due to the pain back then. This review is long overdue…read more Matt and I connected back in February 2025 due to severe back pain and mobility issues caused by a herniated L5-S1 disc, bulging L4-L5, and mild spinal stenosis. Before doing so, I had been dealing with the pain for a full 12 months, trying other PT, and going as far as getting 2 cortisone steroid injections and a surgery consultation. As a former athlete, this was not just painful, but life-altering. I was unable to properly work out, and was left questioning life circumstances. Matt began our first session by assessing my mobility, mechanics, and getting an acute understanding of the pain that was severely limiting important aspects of my life. He identified areas of muscular weakness and provided me with insight that immediately prevented further pain, while also beginning to rebuild my core muscle deficiencies. Over the course of a couple of sessions and diligent self-training, I went from walking with a limp and 7/10 back pain to slowly easing into light deadlifts and squats. Once per week for 1.5 hrs…read more I'm recovering from knee arthritis and chronic inflammation. 3.5 months ago, I had stem cells injected into my knees and my blood. Although the stem cells were improving my knees, I found myself locked into this pain. So I started see David to help me thru this. The first class.... wow..... he always has something to say that just hits me hard and gives me epiphany after epiphany. He told me that sometimes we can only bend and stretch as far as our mind will let us. I realized that I've been avoiding bending my knees for 20 years! The stem cells are working, so I need to be bold and try. So I try a little harder and keep that negative voice away.
