When I was younger, I loved watching wedding videos and I always wondered if I would look as beautiful as the brides did in those videos. Finally when my day arrived, Drea made me look and feel so incredibly beautiful, even more than I could have ever imagined. She is pure magic and a truly talented queen. I booked Drea without a trial in 2019. I had heard rave reviews and after looking at her work on instagram, somehow I fully trusted her even without ever meeting her. Then I scheduled my engagement photoshoot and got my makeup done by Drea for the first time. It was such a fun experience and I instantly bonded with her. I was so nervous about my photoshoot and she made me feel so relaxed and gave me great tips on how to make my hair and makeup last in the heat. Unfortunately we had to reschedule our wedding due to Covid and had several date changes. During one of the date changes, Drea wasn't available. I was so heartbroken. It sounds dramatic but I could not imagine any other artist doing my makeup. Every time Drea would post pictures of all the beautiful brides, I would feel so sad that Drea wouldn't be there on my special day. But we had one more date chance and luckily Drea was available. I was beyond ecstatic!!!!!!!! On the wedding day, even though getting up at 3am is not fun, I was really looking forward to waking up early just so I can get my hair and makeup done by Drea. She had such a calming presence that it rubbed off despite knowing that the madness was about to start. We also had a great time chatting and I feel like I can talk to her for hours. Not only is she an incredibly skilled makeup artist but she is very invested in making sure her brides have a great experience throughout the day. I feel that Drea truly looks out for her brides. For example, I had laid out all my jewelry and items I wanted the photographers and videographers to shoot on a table. While doing my makeup and hair, without me asking her, she guided them. She also made sure that they used the custom hanger I had brought for the shots of my outfit. She was so observant and had a presence of mind because I could not see the pictures/shots being taken and would not have remembered. She was also patient and helped me make a choice when I was quite confused about how high I wanted my bun to be. I had a hard time visualizing it so she showed me a bunch of pictures on her phone and explained the differences which really helped me make up my mind. She is also very receptive to feedback and is open to tweaking anything a bride isn't comfortable with. At every step, she made sure I was loving how my makeup was turning out. She is such an experienced professional and she was one of the vendors I didn't have to worry about at all. Her team did a fantastic job with my family and bridesmaids. My mom, who enjoys getting her makeup done but has been disappointed with her past experiences, really loved her hair and makeup which made me so happy! Also Drea has incredible draping skills! I love how my draping turned out. She truly cared about my vision coming true and went above and beyond. I highly recommend Drea and her team. read more

When you look back at your wedding, Drea is one of the vendors you know you couldn't have gotten through the weekend without. Drea is extremely talented in both make up and hair and helped me think through and execute all of my wedding looks. She knows everything there is to know about south asian wedding prep - draping, pleating, dealing with aunties, you name it she's done it. Even as my dates changed several times during the pandemic, she was extremely communicative and responsive and went out of her way to help me make my new dates work. The weekend of, she went above and beyond in every way - making sure I was fed, laughing with me, and making sure I was 1000% happy with each look before I walked out the door. My planners also said she was one of the best vendors to work with. I am so thankful I booked Drea - for her company, amazing talent, and above all her kindness during my wedding weekend. I cannot recommend her enough. read more

Literal perfection. I truly think that is the only way to describe Drea. I've said this countless times and I'll say it again, Drea is truly more than just a makeup artist - she's a hype woman, a coordinator, a photographer, a beyond AMAZING hair/makeup artist, and most importantly a wonderful, kind, caring and understanding friend on the day you need one the most. She becomes YOUR PERSON throughout all your wedding events. I seriously do not even know how to describe the whole experience, it was beyond my wildest expectations. Drea you truly were like a breath of fresh air every time you came into the room. Getting ready for every single event was like hanging out with your bestie, so much so that I found myself laughing and chatting at 3:45 am in the morning, forgetting any and all tiredness after 2 hours of sleep. Just to show how amazing she is - even after she was finished, she stuck around during the wedding morning to make sure the photographers captured every picture I was mentioning to her that I wanted, and running around handing out champagne glasses to my bridesmaids. At one point while I was taking pictures I even caught her out of the corner of my eye helping my sisters and bridesmaids with last minute adjustments - way beyond anything she needed to do. As for the actual make up - I felt like a princess with every single look. I've never gotten my makeup done before and Drea offered suggestions where needed to ensure everything looked as good as possible, made sure I was completely and thoroughly satisfied with every look, managed to make each look appear special and unique from the other, and of course, bottom line, did a perfect job! Drea - no wonder everyone raves about you, I seriously feel behind lucky to have had you in my corner during my wedding events. I can only hope I get to see you again soon! read more

Drea is an absolute star and I'm so glad I had her by my side for my wedding weekend! She is the real deal and knows what she's doing. As someone who isn't used to wearing a ton of makeup day to day, she worked with me to create looks I felt comfortable in! I got soo many compliments all weekend on the hair, makeup, and even the draping and styling Drea helped with. Susie and Rocky did an amazing job on my bridesmaids/mom on the day of as well! Most of all, I really appreciate how she was such a calming presence and friend all weekend. read more

a QUEEN! like actually...the Beyonce of hair & make up! Drea did my hair and make up for my engagement shoot and my wedding events and booking her was the best decision I have ever made. Drea made me look and feel like a total princess for all my events. Not only is Drea insanely talented, she was also such a calming presence on my wedding day. She made sure I felt comfortable with all my looks, made sure I got the photos I wanted, asked how I was doing constantly, and even took the time to help make my (very sleepy) mom tea at 4 in the morning. She also made sure I was on time for everything, even if that meant dealing with a flat tire and driving over using her spare (true story!). Drea is very responsive and will talk you through any questions you may have starting the day you book her (extensions, scheduling, hairstyle help, etc.) I have so much love for Drea - I will for sure be booking her for all my future events! BOOK HER!! She is an absolute dream to work with! read more

First of all, this review is LONG overdue. I first had the pleasure of working with Drea last year. She did my glam (hair and makeup) for a Hollywood premiere party, and not only was I completely blown away by how easily & accurately she executed EXACTLY what I wanted, but I was instantly comfortable in her presence and found her extremely easy to talk to and vibe with. We had lots of things in common, which was such a pleasant surprise. After this initial meeting, I worked with her several more times. She did my glam (both hair and makeup again) for a promotional photoshoot I had planned and for my maternity photos! I must also say - not only is she an amazing makeup artist, but she works absolute magic with hair. I have short hair naturally, and every single time we've worked together she has quite literally transformed my hair by using my clip-in extensions. The truth is, I couldn't love Drea's work more, but on top of this... I couldn't love HER more! Not only is she beyond professional and talented, but she is an absolute joy to work with and be around. Every time she does my makeup, I get excited for the end result.. but even more excited just to hang and catch up with her! I have never been more happy with a make up artist in my life, and I look forward to working with her many more times in the future! read more

I don't even know where to start. I met Drea back in 2019, when she did my cousins makeup, and we spent a lot of time together. During that time, I knew that whenever I would get married, she's the only one I'd work with. And sure enough, the second I got engaged, I called Drea and booked her right away. During the entire wedding process, she was such a dream and made everything so comfortable, seamless, and fun. My mom was super nervous to get her makeup done, but Drea made her feel so comfortable and KILLED all of her looks. I sent Drea some inspiration for my looks from Pinterest but at the end of the day, I trusted Drea completely and let her take creative liberty in what she thought worked best for my looks. Drea is the only person I'd ever call if I was ever need to get my makeup done again, and I can honestly say that I gained a friend during this process. I can't recommend Drea enough to everyone I meet. She's actually a magician read more

There's not enough words to even express how thankful I am to have had Drea as my makeup artist! Drea is literally the kindest, most hardworking and greatest. She loves what she does and it comes out in each and everyone of her brides. Drea was the first vendor I booked and the easiest decision. She was quick with her communication and even if she couldn't respond back quickly she would let me know she'd get back to me. ALSO what I loved is that if you followed up she didn't make you feel annoying she responded with love and kindness. People like Drea are the people you WANT to work with especially during your wedding. I was blessed to have her for both my Sangeet and Wedding Day. For my sangeet look I felt like a princess. She matched my hair and make up so well to the outfit. Also mind you I got married in the middle of a heat wave. If it was any other person I probably would have sweat my make up off in an instant. Instead it lasted ALL night into the wee mornings of the Sangeet. You know every bride I am sure wants to be the BEST version of themselves on their special day. I was blown away with my wedding look. Drea truly made me feel like the best version of myself. I felt confident, myself and just everything I envisioned. If this doesn't tell you, I'm BEYOND GRATEFUL to Drea and her willingness to make me feel so so well taken care of. Also I'm not joking when I tell you we got married at the hottest weekend of the year. My make up DID NOT MOVE. Also Drea day of made sure someone on her team would touch me up because she wanted to make sure my makeup wouldn't move. THIS IS JUST WHO SHE IS! She loves her brides! Drea, you have a gift. You're amazing at what you do and your love exudes through your brides and just your work! Thanks for everything!!! read more

Drea is a talented artist and also an amazing all around person. She did my makeup and hair for 3 of my wedding events this past July. Her work is STELLAR and she treats all her clients like they are her own family. What I love about Drea the most is that she doesn't just do one look on all her brides/clients - she looks at their eye shape, face shape, brow shape, lip shape and she figures out what would look best with the features of the face - and that is what makes her work EXCELLENT. I have gotten a sneak peak of my wedding pictures and my makeup and hair looks FIRE. I also got SO MANY compliments on all of my events. She also took the time to get to know what looks I wanted each of the days so that the makeup could look different from the day prior. She helped me with what extensions I needed to get and she also hooked me up to get jasmine flowers from India for my hair. She listened so carefully on what I wanted and she was a perfectionist in order to get it. She is so PASSIONATE about what she does and that is how you know that you are in good hands. I had approached her late for one of the days and she made her schedule work to accommodate me - she did not have to do this but she did it because she's a kind and amazing person. She was one of my wedding vendors who relieved my stress and brought me calm. I can't thank her enough for how comfortable she made me and I can never get over how talented she is!!!! I also can't wait to book her again for an event. read more

Drea was amazing to have for my wedding! There is no doubt that I selected the most talented makeup/hair artist for my wedding. I don't normally wear any makeup on a daily basis so I specifically told Drea that I didn't want a crazy "caked on" look for my makeup and Drea really respected want I wanted, and made suggestions where necessary in order for my look to "pop" a bit more. I am lucky to have worked with Drea she truly kept me calm during the day of my wedding & all the hiccups that came along! No matter how much back and forth I went with her via texts, calls and emails she was always so pleasant & willing to continue to add services as I requested for my sister. Drea is really committed to her brides & I really appreciate her for making me feel/look beautiful on my big day! I would definitely recommend Drea to any one looking for a skilled makeup/hair artist for their wedding or any special event!! Thank you so much Drea for all your hard work & putting over 100% effort in making me look beautiful for all my wedding events!! I adore you read more

It doesn't get any better than this! Drea and her team of 3 stylists got me, my 2 sisters, mom, mother in law, 5 aunts, 5 cousins, and 5 friends ready for my wedding in October (some of those people even decided to add on the day of!). They were great, worked quickly and had awesome energy. If I could put 0 stars, I would. She cancelled on me for makeup and hair TWO WEEKS before my bridal event. Her excuse was that a prior client changed their appointment and isn't being flexible. Rather than doing the professional thing and telling the client "sorry, your mistake. I already have a contract with another client during that time." she instead dropped me. My guess is that it has to do with money. Very unprofessional and bad business cause now I can't ever recommend without saying "hey she might drop you if she gets a client who pays more so you should have a backup just in case". You don't know the stress of trying to find another hair and makeup artist 2 weeks before an event, they're all booked. The best of the best! I love her makeup style, her personality, and the whole overall Drea experience. She made those chaotic wedding days seamlessly relaxing. She's so sweet and really listens to what you want. Very knowledgeable about indian weddings and dresses. Drea was a God send. I don't know what good karma I did to get her for my wedding week. It was hectic alone planning my wedding in 3 months, and I was on the verge of crying because I felt like I had to settle with a Bay Area HMUA. 2 Bay Area trials and instead of feeling confident I was feeling more self conscious and each time I couldn't help but find myself on Drea's Instagram page looking at her brides. It was a shot in the dark but I called her and she told me she rarely has these last minute openings and that she will do my wedding. Even though I did no trial, I had no hesitation to book her. I knew, deep inside, I would have no regrets with her, and she proved me right. Drea did 5 hair and makeup looks for me, and they were all AMAZING. My one ask was that I want to look polished and feel myself at my wedding, and not look cakey. Drea delivered plus so much more. I felt so beautiful and confident at all of my events because of Drea. All my friends and family could not stop raving about her work. Not only is she a highly skilled HMUA, she is the most down to earth, modest, and sweet person you will ever meet. She did more than what was asked of her. She was there for me to calm me down when everything around me felt like it was falling apart; she was helping to move furniture and decorate because she saw I needed the extra hands; she was directing and coordinating people because she saw we were running behind; when she was done with me she was helping my mom and guests help get ready; she was a therapist when emotions were high. Drea didn't have to do any of this but she did. She became family. I thank Drea so much from the bottom of my heart for being there for me and I miss her beautiful soul so much. I feel beyond blessed to have had her. I wish every bride could have Drea for their big day! read more

Drea did my sisters hair and makeup for her big fat Indian wedding weekend! Every single look was absolutely wow! Drea is extremely talented, caring, observant, funny, life of the room at 4am, and overall the best vendor my sister found! Drea was not my makeup artist, but she went above and beyond in helping to address my problem areas with my artists (s/o Denise, Tati, and Vanessa for equally being patient, kind, and the best people to see first thing in the morning). Y'all, Drea calmed my mom down after she broke down about an "eyelash"! Drea knew we were utterly disappointed with many of our vendors for false promises and probably the most embarrassing event we've ever been a part of (never hire Synx Events - Amit Anand or work with Hema Chauhan. They bite off more than they can handle and deliver with attitude, lack problem solving skills, and are disgustingly unorganized despite having around 5-7 six hour meetings and A TIMELINE!!!). If you are a 2023+ bride, Drea and her amazing team is the best place to start and work up from there using her recommendations. She's been in the industry long enough to know quality I appreciate you so much Drea and I'm so excited to eventually work with you again! read more

Drea is literally the best decision I made as a bride when planning my wedding. She is the BEST hair and makeup artist on this planet!!! I seriously felt like a princess for all of my wedding events, and she just made me feel so confident and genuinely happy! Her vision for looks and her attention to detail is incredible and unmatched! She was also extremely professional and thoughtful, and became the favorite of my mom, my aunts, my aunts friends, and everyone coming in and out the bridal suite. They wanted to meet THE Drea who was dishing out the most fire looks. Waking up on my wedding morning, knowing Drea was the first person I was going to see and spend time with was truly so calming and relaxing. She takes care of everything, and honestly treated me like a friend/sister!! Her love for me and my looks was soo genuine and people were raving about how she did my hair and makeup all weekend. I had so many aunts and even uncles ask about Drea for their daughters' weddings, and I shared her info with all of them. She is one of the most talented women in the industry, and the way she just molds her vision with your vision to create an iconic and unique look every time is the icing on the cake!! I will always look back on my wedding memories and photos and think so fondly of her for creating those masterpiece looks, and I truly miss spending time with her. I wish we could hang out every day, because besides her skills she is just such an incredible human!! I still feel so extremely lucky that she was available for my big day, and every memory of her is just exuding with the love and kindness she possesses. Choose her for any and every event in your life, because she gives you more than you deserve and every woman needs that kind of person and that kind of experience in their life!! read more

Drea was nothing short of a dream to work with. To know Drea, is to love her & thankfully her team is just as amazing and talented as she is. Her Instagram posts really do showcase her artistry & her perfection to every little detail. My family and I were so lucky to have her on this day because she and her team went out of their way to take care of us. Her team didn't have to make sure my husband looked good (we didn't get hair for him, but they just did it). Her team didn't have to go above and beyond in their execution, but they did every single time. Her team didn't have to check up on us to make sure we were okay, but they did. They kept us awake & fueled us with life. They made sure to make us laugh when all we wanted to do was sleep and cry. My wedding was a shit show. My planner & coordinator promised a certain vision and the delivery was an absolute disaster (brides and grooms- Synx Events & Rhythm Events by Hema Chauhan were the worst vendors I've ever worked with). Drea knew the behind the scenes struggle. And instead of going home, Drea, literally stayed behind to make our mandap look better, she helped coordinate the decorations, she worked with the DJ to make sure the right songs played. When Drea found out I was crying after I saw our evening decorations, she came downstairs to console me, and then tried her best to fix what she could. She tried to make the most out of the very little she had. She did the most, to make sure my wedding weekend went smoothly. I don't know what I did to deserve Drea. I don't why she was so nice to me. But all I know, is that Drea is more than just a hair and makeup artist on your big weekend. She's a confidante, a healer, a soul sister, and your hype woman. She's everything you need during the most stressful & exciting moment of your life. Also, future brides and grooms, if you need help picking vendors, please ask Drea. She knows everyone in the industry & just knows so much about the ins and outs of a south Asian wedding. Drea, you and your team, made me, my sister, my mom, my sister in law & my mother in law feel so beautiful and loved. Thank you for everything! read more

Drea did an incredible job at my wedding. She is an incredibly talented makeup artist and I was so lucky to be able to book her. Months before my wedding, I sent her some ideas for what I was thinking for my wedding looks-- we had a back and forth where we both share ideas based on the colors of my outfits and the theme of the wedding. I never had a trial - I could tell that I would no issues trusting her based on her beautiful work and our communication. At the wedding, she translated and elevated our ideas into glamorous looks I could have never have even dreamed of. She incorporated her edge and personality to my hair and makeup that made my looks unique, vibrant and modern. I really wanted to steer away from traditional bridal looks and go with something more edgy and Hollywood and she totally got me! But beyond hair and makeup, Drea truly impressed me with her commitment to keeping me calm, timing photographs, coordinating bridesmaids and details I didn't even think of. She went way above and beyond and really made me feel like I was taken care of. Drea is incredible, I highly recommend her for your wedding! read more

Where do I even begin? I have been married 7 years now, and so my husband and I finally decided to take wedding photos we never got. We decided to get the best vendors we could find! We thought we were getting the right photographer, and outfits, and henna, but really it was Drea that made everything perfect. On the day of our photos Drea arrived early, she remembered everything we talked about months ago ( this was booked since last year ) and got right to work. She made it seem effortless! The attention to detail, and the talent she has is unmatched. My makeup stayed on throughout the entire shoot, not a single touch up was needed. No smeared lipstick, no running eyeliner ( it was really hot ) and my hair was beyond anything I could have imagined! All she had to go off of was one photo I saved from Instagram months ago, she made it look better than the photos, it was unreal. The beautiful curls both pinned for the main photos and the Hollywood curls stayed for hours without needing a single spray. She helped me with my jewelry, the pinning of my duputta, and even fixed my top when the hook broke off right before we were about to leave, talk about the right person for these series of events. The reason I will forever sing praises of who drea is, is what happens next. Our photography vendor ( big name vendor ) dropped the ball and did not secure a permit to the venue we picked over 8 months ago. Not only did they not secure the venue, but also failed to mention it to us prior to showing up even though they knew an hour prior to start time. When we had to quickly find another area to shoot in, drea calmed me down, reminded me that regardless I look amazing so the photos no matter where they're taken will come out amazing. After that fiasco we were offered a complimentary hour shoot to make up for their mistake. Of course I could not do the shoot without drea! Once we had the shoot planned AGAIN, I couldn't get an outfit! With such short notice I tried expediting an outfit, I tried going to the mall, but with prom season in full chaos, it was impossible. With me losing hope Drea stepped in and pulled some strings to get me a sample piece from a store for photos. I will never forget what she's done for me, and the lengths she went to make sure this was everything I envisioned. The type of artist Drea is, is something you dream of when you're a little girl waiting for your fairytale wedding. Thank you Drea from the bottom of my heart for giving me my happily ever after I will be using drea for any and all future events, including my daughters wedding one day! Where to even begin... Drea is AMAZING. I first booked Drea for my engagement party, and after falling in love with not only her work but also Drea as a person, I decided I wanted to book her for all of my wedding events. I actually set my initial wedding date around her availability because I was so sure I wanted only her for my HMU, but because of some things, I had to change my date again. The date I decided was a weekend she was already booked, but Drea being Drea, she told me she'd make it work. And she did just that, so effortlessly. During my wedding weekend, I didn't even feel like she had another bride, she was THAT attentive to me. In the short time we spent together, she was so compassionate and literally became my best friend for the weekend. From doing additional things like helping my aunt, to having pep talks with me to calm me down, she truly made it a wonderful experience. In the midst of all the wedding stress, the only thing you want to do is just hangout with someone who's as kind and stress free as Drea. Not only does Drea do AMAZING work but her personality is just a cherry on top. It's only been 3 days since my wedding and I miss her already!!! I'm a VERY shy person, but Drea definitely gave me the confidence I needed that weekend. ALL of my looks were such a hit, and I got countless compliments all weekend!! You'll be missing out on such an amazing experience if you don't book Drea!!!! read more

THE ABSOLUTE BEST. Drea is incredibly talented, professional, timely, honest, kind, supportive and fun! Drea made me look and feel so beautify for my wedding weekend and I couldn't be more grateful for her. I booked Drea back in 2019 for an engagement shoot and all my wedding events. Unfortunately, due to Covid, we had to postpone our wedding two times and Drea was super responsive and accommodating each time. And all I can say is that it was worth the wait! Since I have really frizzy and unruly hair, I was nervous about this. Drea picked up on this fact while getting me ready for my engagement shoot. Later that evening, she sent me tips of what to do to prep my hair and links to tools I can use that weekend. It's little things like this that. Leading up to the wedding week, she was on top of it, communicating schedules, making sure I got my extensions, making sure she had a fab team for my mom, sister and MIL and SIL. Drea did my hair, make-up and draping for all 5 of my wedding events and she killed every single look! Going into wedding week, I had no idea what I wanted for each of my looks, but I didn't need to worry because Drea made each one truly perfect. I am so happy with how I looked and felt during my wedding weekend. She is not only an unbelievably skilled hair and make-up artist, but she also has mastered dupatta draping and working with Indian jewelry and outfits. I can't put into words how much I loved each and every look. Drea is one of the big reasons I look back at my wedding weekend pictures with so much joy. She invests time and energy into each of her brides and truly cares about their experience. Drea worked with the photo and video team to make sure I was getting the detail shots I wanted, she was kind to my family and friends, she hyped me up with her killer playlists, she listened to me vent about all that was on my mind, and gave me the quiet time I needed in between events. I would highly recommend Drea for your wedding, next event, or just for fun! I can't wait to have her do my hair and makeup again soon! read more

This is long overdue! Drea did my hair, makeup, and styling for my engagement shoot, pre-wedding event, wedding and reception. I have zero hesitation saying she's the best all around- in her work and as a person! Each look was perfect, tailored to me, and I felt comfortable to trust her and even step out of my comfort zone (which I'm not accustomed to and with no regrets!) She's also just a fun and easy personality to be around, especially during stressful wedding times. I recommend her already to all my friends and family and can't wait until the next time for myself! She's also really helpful in making suggestions and referrals for other needs if you show interest or ask! I found my coordinator and photographer through her :) read more

My experience with Drea was exceptional!! She really took the time to listen and learn about my preferences and sensitivities, and to make sure I was comfortable and confident with each and every look. Drea is the perfect balance of getting you all glammed up while still looking and feeling like yourself :) Drea is also very kind. During the peak of the pandemic, she checked in with me regularly. And when we decided to have a small, intimate home wedding, she reassured me that she had been quarantined safely + taking extra safety precautions. She brought a wonderful energy to my wedding week, and I loved getting ready with her for my mendhi, rehearsal dinner, and wedding. Drea came as a recommendation from several friends from LA and I couldn't be more thankful. Drea was so flexible with everything I threw her way, she accommodated my needs and went above and beyond to make sure I wasn't over exerting myself. She kept me calm through the chaos around me. Drea nailed all my looks and not only did she make sure I looked good but her team made my entire bridal party look like a vision too. She's going to be the friend you'd need on your big day and she will create an unforgettable experience for you. All I said to her was, " I want to look like me" and boy did she execute that flawlessly. I am going to drea for all my future events! She's simply the best. read more

I knew I wanted to book Drea when I started all the wedding planning. I booked Drea a year in advance, and planned my wedding date around her! She is the BEST person to have by your side as you go through the wedding. I went through a roller coaster of emotions and she knew all the right things to say to me while sitting in her chair. Not only did she take care of me, she wiped my mum's tears and made sure her makeup was intact while helping my sister drape her dupatta. She goes above and beyond for everyone! Drea made me look so effortlessly beautiful! The vibe I wanted was a soft glam look and Drea instantly made it possible. I told her my inspiration for my wedding hair the day prior and she needed nothing else, she knew exactly what I wanted! Drea is genuinely such a beautiful soul she knows exactly what you need during this whole process. While she's working her magic, she connected with me and made me forget about everything and made sure I was relaxed. Drea made me feel and look like the bride I always wanted to be! She is the very best and her team is amazing as well! read more

DREA! What can I say about this woman? Besides the fact that she is an extremely talented hair and makeup artist, she is kind, honest, personable, responsive, humble and so much more. Being a COVID bride, it was extremely hard to navigate multiple postponements and managing the vendors. However, Drea was extremely helpful and responsive. She reached out to me on multiple occasions to make sure she had my postponement dates and continued to follow up with me. Finally the big day happened! Throughout the wedding, Drea made each look special and unique, and I loved it! She made sure all my hair jewelry was placed properly and did not stop until it was perfect. On top of that, she helped keep me calm, supported me throughout the wedding and took such great care of my family. On the wedding day, there was a hiccup with the vendor for the bridesmaids hair and makeup. When Drea found out, she immediately started troubleshooting. Drea stepped in, took control and helped get her team to help my bridesmaids get ready. This helped us stay on time for the entire event. She saved the day and did so gracefully. I will never forget it and I am forever grateful to her. She is the MVP and I recommend her for every bride! Drea, you're the best and I am so happy I met you! Thank you for everything! I don't know where to begin, I got married last year in December 2021. It took me this long to write this review because it was hard for me to find the right words to describe the exceptional services Drea provided me with during my wedding time. Firstly, I would like to say it was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. Drea was always responsive to all my emails and texts prior to the wedding . When my wedding festivities begin, Drea was there on time and did an amazing job with all my looks. I never had to worry about my hair or make up because it was always on point. She definitely made me feel so special. I felt like a princess during my wedding. All of my looks were amazing, and exceptional. I couldn't of asked for a better HMUA for myself. I can't put it into words how much I adored everything that Drea did for me. I am beyond grateful and appreciative of her being there for me. Not only is Drea an amazing HMUA, but she is a wonderful, compassionate and empathetic person. Through out my time with her, she made me feel so comfortable. She was so supportive, and always went the extra mile to make sure I felt fine. At the end of my reception, I was so sad that I would not be working with her because I found an amazing friend in her as well. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. I can't wait to work with her in the future because only she's the best in the business. I appreciate you doing so much Drea, I can't even put it into words. She has an amazing vibe and personality, it was such an easy going process. Thank you Drea! FYI- the pictures turned out so beautiful, and part of the reason was because of Drea. She made me feel so beautiful and elegant, I couldn't get over it. Everyone also complimented on all my looks because each one was different and amazing. She would give me the best advice on how to look different for all my events. She definitely made me feel more confident about myself during my wedding! Love you always! read more

I don't even know where to begin, because Drea was not only an amazing make up artist, but even a better person! This is a long over due review, I had originally booked Andrea for my May wedding but due to COVID it did not go as planned. After a million date changes, I was lucky enough to book her for my intimate wedding in June. And I cannot tell you how grateful I am. For many reasons- 1. I felt like the MOST beautiful woman at all events 2. She is BEYOND talented, really easy to communicate with and really makes your vision come to life 3. Most importantly- she is such an AMAZING person. She kept me centered and sane during the most stressful situations and really took the time to talk me through it all. And I cannot be more thankful. I love you Drea and I cannot wait to get my hair/makeup done by you again!! read more

Drea was such an amazing person to get me ready for my wedding events. She was honestly hands down the BEST vendor and I really cannot stress how happy and lucky I was to have her there right before each of my events. In terms of her actual skill, she is extremely talented. I wanted to have my makeup done but still look exactly like myself, and she did that! I looked just like me, but enhanced. I did not feel cakey, the makeup did not stain or run all over the place, and she was fast! With the hair, she was also so talented and was able to create the exact looks I wanted by just photos or me explaining what general look I was going for. Typically South Asian wedding makeup can be too much or look artificial, but she made me look awesome on 4 hours of sleep, and so I owe her everything. Drea is professional, extremely responsive, resourceful, calm under pressure, and makes sure you stay on time and things get done. Her and her team are also really understanding! We woke up late the morning of the wedding and she had already factored that in, so we ended up being fine. Finally, she's just an overall great human. She became my friend during this process and kept me calm even when I thought things were going to fall apart. She's really reasonable, understanding, does not nickel and dime, and she's so perceptive - highly highly recommend! read more

Where do I even begin with Drea... looking back at my wedding (now almost 7 months ago) she is most definitely one of the vendors that I truly couldn't have gone without. Drea did my engagement shoot hair/makeup long before my wedding week + from this day we both knew we would have so much fun together at the wedding. She truly killed this look + made me feel so beautiful. Drea was the most calming presence to be around during my wedding week. My mom + I got our makeup done by Drea for some of the pre-wedding events and every time she came over to our house it just felt so natural, so comfortable, and so calm. I was never stressed out before any of my events because Drea was always there to keep me calm + made me feel absolutely beautiful. Even when we had a little outfit/skirt crises she was there to the rescue. Wedding morning we had quite the early start and Drea literally ran into my room at 2 AM with goodies :) and so much excitement - truly my hype woman. Can't thank her enough for keeping me calm and making sure that I enjoyed/soaked in every moment of my wedding day. By the time my reception came around I was so exhausted but had no second to rest -- Drea literally got me ready while I kept dozing off because she knew how tired I was. She is a HMU goddess. Prior to my wedding week, Drea and I talked a lot about how we wanted to make sure my looks were all different and unique. That is exactly what we did and I am so so happy with them all. Each event we used both of our creative minds to come up with something fun but still me. I have used many makeup artists before in the past but with Drea I always feel like she enhances my natural beauty instead of making me feel like a different person. I really love that about how Drea does her makeup. Drea is extremely talented in hair, makeup, and draping. She was always there to help me make final decisions when I couldn't decide. It's always such a fun time being around her. She truly is a beautiful person inside and out, forever my hype woman, + just overall such a kind soul to all. I am so thankful for Drea and cannot recommend her enough. She will go above and beyond for you. Drea, words can never be enough to thank you for just being so incredible that week. I am forever grateful to you. read more

Drea did my make up for my wedding and she is just amazing! She made me look so flawless for both wedding and reception. She is amazing! Would definitely book her for rest of all my major events! read more

My love and gratitude towards Drea cannot be summarized in words. I met Drea when she did my hair and makeup for my friend's wedding and I LOVED her work. Her work was so good that I hired her for my wedding. During my consultation, we went over what I wanted for each look. I didn't want to give her too much direction because she is so good...I wanted to let her do her work. During the actual wedding, she did everything for me. She had pins, she did my hair jewelry, she helped me get into my outfits. I was so happy with how I looked. Every look was different, classic and natural. I felt amazing. She is sweet, easy to get in touch with and extremely professional. I cannot recommend her more. Also, just something that I think sets her apart from others, she took amazing care of my mom and she wasn't in charge of my mom's H&MU. She made sure that my mom looked beautiful during the wedding and was able to enjoy herself. read more

Drea is absolutely amazing. This was my first time requesting her services and I couldn't be more thrilled with how my bridal make-up turned out. She knows more about make-up than any other make-up artist I have spoken to. Not only does she really take the time to listen to what the bride wants, but is also able to provide extremely helpful insights that makes the whole decision process a breeze. She also shared a number of tips and tricks with me and sent me a list of products that I could add my my personal make-up kit. She is a genuinely nice person and extremely talented in her trade. If you are in the OC area, she comes to your location saving you the hassle of worrying about the logistics and transportation on a big event day. But if you are someone that's planning a destination wedding, look no further because you have found your make-up artist who will be willing to travel with you! I couldn't recommend her services more. read more

After months of stalking Drea's instagram all I wanted was my name to be in her captions! I quickly hired her to do my engagement shoot makeup and one of my wedding events- mehndi. I missed out on her talent for other wedding events so ladies book her ASAP because she is a busy lady! Her hair and makeup skills are just the cherry on top of what she offers! Drea's personality only enhances her work! When she was getting me ready during my engagement shoot she did such a great job at managing the "aunty opinions". She really knows how to kindly shut them down and focus on the clients needs! The engagement shoot was my first time working with her. During that time she was able to read my needs and served as a great advocate for me! I told Drea to do whatever she felt was best for this look and her work was the first time I felt like I could trust a makeup artist. The engagement shoot makeup left me with so much excitement for the mehndi look. Again Drea killed it! Her style is bold & natural. The eye makeup was fun and playful (pink and glitter) to match the outfit and the base felt light and well blended! I felt like a real life Barbie! Now here comes the fun part, mehndi was event 1 of 5 and I let her CUT MY HAIR! While doing my mermaid like updo, she felt like the front pieces needed layering and a face frame. She asked if I trusted her and snip snip... the look was truly complete! Trust her and the process, you wont regret it! It will earn you the name on the caption- best feeling ever! Hiring her was so easy! She is prompt, super responsive and really organized! If you need or seek open communication and reliability.. this is your girl! I added my sister to get ready for mehndi last min and she was extremely accommodating! Only regret is not adding my mom as well! read more

Drea is the person you don't even know you need! She is beyond just a hair and makeup artist. I had been following her on Instagram for over a year and when I reached out to her she immediately responded like we were long lost friends. Not only did she provide me with her pricing and her schedule but she asked if I needed help with anything! I am so glad I took her up on her help because she provided suggestions on vendors for my photos and video and gave me her opinion which helped with my final decision making. I hired her to be with me for the day and it was worth every penny and more! Not only is she fast with all the makeup brushes, but during the photoshoot she was a personal DJ setting the mood on the scene. She was also a godsent by helping me with my outfits, shoes and makeup touch ups! If you are in the market for a Makeup artist for your wedding, photoshoot, or engagement then you won't find better than Drea! If I'm ever doing another event in SoCal, I will only use her (fingers crossed she's available!). She's found a loyal customer in me! read more

Drea is a gifted makeup artist and a beautiful person! She did my makeup for a pre-wedding event (she was booked for my wedding day otherwise I would have asked her to do that too) and she knocked it out of the park! I had a vision of the look and she executed it better than I had even hoped for. She has a calm, pure energy that really helped me relax for the first time in weeks! She did my makeup a couple hours before the event...I did not even touch up once and several hours later my makeup still looked gorgeous and flawless! I love a natural look that accentuates beauty versus masking it and Drea definitely made that happen. Don't think twice about hiring her....I can't wait to work with her again! read more

Drea did my mom's makeup for my wedding on Sunday, and I just wanted to compliment her on her beautiful work. Unfortunately, I had already found MY makeup artist, which by the way, I regretted because I actually hated my makeup, but it was too late to get it re-done because we were running late. (I kept having to get up). Anyway, I so badly wanted to ask Drea to do my eyes, but I just couldn't get myself to be that rude to my artist, so I said I loved it, but I was so sad inside. Anyway, I might redo some of my wedding pictures with better makeup because I hate how my eyes look on my wedding pics. I will be hiring Drea if I have the opportunity. To my wonderful ladies, if you want to look and feel beautiful, I can say that Drea will be your Fairy Godmother. :) read more
