We scheduled Spider-Man to visit my son's third birthday party. Trevor called me in the morning of the birthday party, which was encouraging! He was very friendly on the phone and asked if I had any other questions. He had some issues with his costume when he arrived, but sadly it looked like the zipper was broken. It didn't completely impact the experience though. He started off great with a lot of energy and the kids really loved the different movements and freeze dance. Then, he needed to set up obstacle course, which was a bit strange since it took some time for him to set up. Totally understandable, but I would have suggested that he play Spider-Man music or something of that sort in the meantime. Instead he told the kids to play on the playground. The obstacle course itself wasn't as big of a hit. At that point, the energy kind of died down. It seemed like he was getting tired. 45 minutes after he arrived he said,"Cake time!" I mentioned that the cake was not ready at that point. He encouraged everyone to play at the playground instead. I definitely paid for the full hour, but did not feel like I got that. He did pose for a couple of pictures after I cut the cake, but I did feel like I got ripped off a bit. Normally I wouldn't feel that way, but the petered out energy with the obstacle course and the overall amount I paid, made me a bit disappointed. Unfortunately, several issues arose during my event--my backdrop fell, and multiple balloons had popped. When I reached out to address these concerns, I was met with a dismissive response and was told the situation was not her responsibility. This lack of accountability was both frustrating and disheartening. To make matters worse, she declined to return and resolve the issues, stating she would not be available until after my event had already concluded.
