I'm not just reviewing this place on a recent, pleasant dog walk (which is a great place to do and they have doggie fountains here as well). No... my roots go way deeper here. Growing up in the area before there was the large Target and City Lot nearby, before the local government offices, this park is where me and a close knit group of friends would go every night. We weren't causing any trouble. We just didn't really have anywhere else to go, but we all looked forward to hanging out most nights, especially during the summers. We would skate in the parking lot or possible play basketball (they had a few full courts where the offices are built now). At one point a few of my friends worked with the city to help design and build out the skate park (I see there names on the plaque to this day in late 2025). I remember my friends putting on and being part of small music fests that was held in the amphitheater area. I even remember working some events held at the event building on the south side of the park. Just a great park with lots of parking, events schedules, and just every day things to do. Lot of personal memories as well.

Central Park in San Ramon looks pretty standard at first, but ended up being better than expected…read more I came for a friends' kid's birthday party and even on a weekend it felt open and not too crowded. The grass was green and well kept, and there was plenty of space for kids to run around. The covered picnic areas with a roof was so nice and perfect for rainy days or a hot sunny weather, and it offered many things to keep kids entertained such as a good-sized playground. It's clean, easy, and works well for group gatherings. Only downside is the restrooms were available but not very clean, and parking can get a bit tight. Overall, a reliable spot for things like birthday parties without feeling chaotic.

A good thing about living in the Dougherty Valley area of San Ramon? New infrastructure (parks,…read morestreets, schools, etc.) Tiffany Roberts Sports Park (TRSP) is a nice example of a newer San Ramon park - excellent facilities, well maintained and clean. The sports field is the centerpiece of TRSP - an expansive synthetic field, fully fenced in with viewing stands and lighting for night time use. Curiously, the adjacent basketball courts which are quite nice DO NOT have lights - a design flaw for this popular spot. Fortunately, there is enough ambient light from the sport field that the ballers still play into the darkness. Why are there no lights on the courts? Overall, TRSP an excellent park, worthy of high marks. Minus a star for excellent basketball courts that disappear into darkness once the sun goes down. 4 solid stars

I would not have had a reason to be here except for a nephew's baseball. Huge park with picnic areas, plenty of parking, trees and shade structures. Very well maintained. The next closest public facility is the Dougherty Station complex at the bottom of the hill with a branch of the public library, a police substation and a small campus of Diablo Valley College.

GPS took us directly to the parking lot and we were amazed. 1:00 pm and there was one car in the lot, which was leaving as we pulled in. It's a large lot leading to a beautiful park with clean restrooms. We didn't inspect the entire park, it was much too warm, at least 91-degrees. We sat at a picnic table under an awning which provided shade. I got a bowl of water for the dog and was quite impressed that the water was cold. We watched as another car came, and someone began shooting baskets. When we were done with lunch, we cleaned up and I walked a little bit just to get a few photos for this review. A word of warning to those who bring children to this park. The park appears to be very clean and safe. Keep in mind that the play structures are fully exposed to the sun all day. Be sure to touch surfaces to make sure they're not too hot for young skin. This is a very impressive little park. The only thing that we would have liked seeing was a dog park.

You basically drive up Faria Parkway through the new housing development known as The Preserve. No traffic signals, but lots of roundabouts. The park has a panoramic view of the San Ramon Valley, and. has two levels. Kid's playgrounds on the first level along with walking trails. Soccer/Baseball fields with artificial turf on the upper level. Picnic area and BBQ grills (with lids!) scattered about. Oh, and yes they have modern, clean and well-stocked bathrooms on both levels, which is super convenient. There are also signs noting the area is under 24/7 surveillance. Our son had a blast visiting this park, and we were impressed by the nice views despite being nestled within a large housing development. This would be an awesome place to catch the sunrise or sunset for sure.
