I see pickup games happening sometime but we mainly come in the morning to shoot around. The local schools have more courts but the pavement isn't as nice and the pickup games would be lopsided if you have the side with the bent rim. It's right next to the dog park and there are always people there with dogs that will get agitated by the sound of a bouncing ball and bark. There is plenty of parking, the lot is always at least 75 percent empty. Locally we like going to some of the schools after hours instead.
