It also isn't a long-term solution to your mouse problem. Gateway will seal every potential entry point in your apartment - in ours they sealed our baseboard heating pipes with metal sheeting, sealed with metal where the gas line was coming in behind the stove and pulled out our dishwasher to seal the water line with metal. They found holes that I never could have found or accessed on my own, and sealed them up. Many thanks and much respect to Jay! Sealed the likely entrance, built trap boxes ( YouTube... ) and used various baits. Rats are extremely smart and fast. He'd get the food but not caught. After a a few weeks I gave in and searched for an exterinator. The reviews about Joe prompted me to get in touch. The reviews describe him perfectly ! He came the next day. We spent almost 2 hours going around the house inspecting for evidence of entry points, nests, activity as well as getting to know each other. He is truly a nice guy who knows his craft ! Joe seemed impressed by my approach. Thought, based on what he saw, that there might only be the one and didn't see any obvious additional enrty points. He suggested a few new baits and traps and we decided to stay in touch before moving to poison. He refused payment for his time and advice. He promptly replied to my status texts over the next few days. Nobody caught, no success... until I got him ! Sent Joe pictures. Recieved a congratulations reply ! Now going to keep monitoring for a few weeks, traps set. Maybe my problem is solved. Fingers crossed my visitor didn't have friends and family. Prestige Pest Management came to our home in January. My kids told me they saw a mouse. At first i…read moredidn't believe them but after a couple of weeks we starting seeing a lot of mice poop in our kitchen and in the living room. I keep my house spotless so i was really upset when i learned we had a mouse problem. I reached out to Prestige and they were able to have a service man out the next morning. They told me the appointment was between 9 and 11 and that the technician would call me a half hour before he arrives. At 915 i receive the phone call he said he would be here in 30 min. As soon as he gets here he asked me about our problem i showed him where we were seeing droppings. He went to every room in our house and sealed the holes by our radiator pipes. He was very thorough with his treatment. In our boiler room he found some holes in the floor he said this is where the mice were entering the home he sealed it up and set traps up. He said he would be back for a follow up treatment in 2 weeks. When he came back for the follow up he went though every room again to inspect for any new holes and re baited those bait stations. On the follow up he removed 5 mice that the traps had caught in the basement. I was shocked that we had such a huge problem. Its been 2 months now and we haven't had an issue with those dirty mice. We took the monthly service so that he can make sure they never return. So far they have always been on time and treats my home like it was his. If you need an exterminator i recommend trying them.
