I hired this limo service about a month ago and was extremely disappointed…read more first of all, I hired them because they basically had very good reviews which makes me wonder who wrote them. When I hired them they were courteous and accommodating but they left out one very important piece of information, the Limousine was very old and uncomfortable. We hired ASP (also known as LAX limo) for a long ride approximately 9 hours at a cost of almost two thousand dollars! I didn't mind paying the high cost because I thought it would be a nice ride. But The limo was very old, you felt every bump on the road, things rattled constantly, the air conditioning didn't work, and it smelled............ The only light in this miserable ride was that the driver was a nice person. He was professional and did a good job of driving the old vehicle and making rest stops. But with the heat of the Mojave desert and no airconditioning, the ride was miserable and felt like we were driving forever! When I returned home I contacted Kelly at ASP and she said we should have told her immediately that the AC didn't work and asked to change car. I explained to her that by the time we found out the AC didn't work we were an hour or two in to our destination. Kelly offered us a twenty percent discount on our next ride. There will be no next ride, only a fool would ride an old hot stinky limo TWICE! Beware when renting from this place. I gave Kelly multiple opportunities to make things right but she didn't care. she already got her money. lesson learned by me....... Hopefully after reading this review you will not make the same mistake I did..........

My husband and I ordered car service (towncar service) from LAX to our place in Santa Monica. We…read morewere severely disappointed when a minivan showed up for us at the airport, when we were told a towncar would pick us up. The driver took longer than expected to pick us up at the terminal, even though we had made advance reservations. The driver didn't use AC and just had the windows rolled down the whole way home. He didn't help us put the luggage into the car or take it out. What was the point in getting and PAYING for car service when a regular cab would have been cheaper and better?! I would not recommend this service for anyone.

I was expecting a cab, but instead got picked up precisely on time by a CLEAN, newish limo. Wow! The driver was affable and engaging, got me to the airport with time to spare and I can not recommend Skycar Limo highly enough! They take credit cards and was all pros and no cons.

Loved the reliable pre-arranged pickup in downtown LA where I was worried a cab might not pick me…read moreup. Loved the on-time driver, who was polite. Loved the tinted window prius. (-1 star): Didn't love that the price wasn't totally clear (they should just quote it in the confirmation email), minus one star for price confusion and then slow transaction at the end of the ride when I was worried about making my flight. (-1 star): Really didn't love the driver's jerkiness when steering on straight stretches of freeway, or the way he completely took the wrong ramp from one freeway to another freeway, which put us back on the same road we'd been on after a freeway ramp closed for construction diverted us. His mistake added 20 minutes to my airport run--good thing I left early! So, all in all, maybe a repeat, but I'd hope for a different driver and I'd know the price is going to be a little higher than the general prices listed on the website (mine was about 20% higher than the minimum price listed for DTLA to LAX).

If you need private transport from point A to point B and want to do it cheaper and more…read moreefficiently than in a traditional cab, I HIGHLY recommend Organic Limo. First of all, I should say that I dont think they offer just limos as their name suggests, and the cars they use arent lime green smart cars as their website picture suggests. So I wouldnt look too much in to the whole "organic" or "limo" name. ANYWAY... It was st. Patrick's day and it fell on a Saturday this year which, to me, means that you can't not celebrate it....and celebrate the ever loving shit out of it until you're puking green dye out of your anus. Yeah, that hard. So in preparation I bought tickets to a St. Patty's fest (with unlimited alcohol!) that taking place in west hollywood. Being a (fairly) decent human being, I knew id be plastered and would therefore need transportation to and from the event. From my place in downtown LA, there's no metro services to west hollywood and busses are terribly slow and inconvenient, so taxi it was. I shopped around for taxi services and found that it'd be anywhere from $35-$40 to the event ONE WAY. Not including tip. Bummer. I came across organic taxi on a google search. Their rates appeared to be the lowest I had seen. I emailed them and asked for a quote and I got an email back (extremely quickly) and it was $29. I asked for a roundtrip deal and they offered roundtrip for $52. Sold. The taxi got to my place 10 minutes early. I hadn't seen it when it got here because it was an unmarked camry. The only way you'd tell it was a car for hire was the little white license numbers on the bumpers. So like I initially said, dont get hung up on the whole "organic" or "limo" part. The driver was extremely friendly. Because we were near staples center he made small chit chat, asking about what a game was like and ticket prices, etc.. (I don't think he's been here-in this country- long) his amusement at a group of stereotypical harajuku girls walking down melrose confirmed this. The car was comfortable and didn't have any foul odors. There was no meter in the car and the driver used the navigation on his blackberry to get us to our destination. We paid him the full faire and tip as he dropped us off and swore he would come back, which he did. I'm ok with this but if you're hardened and wary of strangers and need a cab that looks like a cab, you might not dig this. The nice part is that I didn't have the driver's number but we wanted to stay in the area longer than our pickup time. So all I did was email the company to request to be picked up later and it was all good. The ride home was fun. I mean, I don't remember a whole lot of it but I do remember flashes of laughter and well, I got home safely and that's all that matters. The driver was so nice I tipped him again. So in the end: if you're ok with using an non traditional taxi, (not hung up on being in an actual taxi cab from a major cab company) don't have trust issues, are comfortable engaging in idle chit chat, are sensitive about, um, ethnic smells This is a pretty good transportation company to try. Ill definitely look into using them again and look into their other services.
