(The snack bar and pool are only open during the spring/summer seasons.) They also have an amazing collection of various props and pieces from both Francis Ford Coppola and Sofia Coppola's movies such as The Godfather, The Outsiders, Apocalypse Now, and Dracula. A free audio tour of the winery is also available (bring your own earbuds). The wine tasting was exceptional! Amazing wines, many only available at the winery. Anna conducted our tasting and she went above and beyond! She gave us the history of the wines, information on the procurement and barreling process, down to information on the bottle design. She was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. The winery is just beautiful. Fields of grapes abound making for a lovely backdrop. The winery is also very family friendly with so much to offer. The six of us spent a wonderful afternoon and agreed to visit again upon return to the area.

We felt like total VIPs here from start to finish..they had us set up in a small seating area and started us off with a sparkling wine, delicious. We then had a tasting of about 5 wines, followed by a tasting of dessert wines, including a chocolate wine that tasted like a tootsie roll. They gave us a cheese platter and crackers and for the grand finale, they took us on a small tour where they happened to be bottling a wine that day. This place is worth the visit and the wine was pretty great also.

I can't remember the year, but it was 1800 something which is a great backdrop to your relaxing with a glass of wine. We ended up here because we decided to pick a random vineyard to try while we were in Healdsburg. I signed up for a tasting and noted that it was my birthday that we were celebrating. When we arrived, they had a special treat for us, a glass of their sparkling Brut which was delicious! Because it was my birthday they set us up in the tasting room in the photo I have attached which is also a special treat! The view from this room was spectacular overlooking their expanse of vineyards and Mount Saint Helena!! Tonya was amazing! She guided us through all of our tastings, which actually was quite a few at this particular vineyard. And we even got super lucky that the founders son, who now runs, the vineyard was there he even stopped by to chat with us for a bit! Another thing that I really liked about this tasting as they give you snacks to pair with the wines throughout your tasting but you can also buy larger snacks if you wish. My husband and I agreed that the Cabernet Franc and the Primitivo were our favorites! Another fun thing about this vineyard is they make and sell their own olive oil. We, of course, joined the membership ordered a case of wine and took home some olive oil! It was a fantastic day!

Not to mention how delicious the food/wine pairings were. I've definitely never had olive oil like that and the highlight was the farro salad and the French onion fondue. We stopped in unannounced and were greeted warmly. Taylor was such a pleasure and she remembered my daughter & I from 2 years ago when she helped with our tasting. Not very often does a winery connect with visitors at that level. Says a lot about the culture here. Grabbed a couple glasses of champagne and walked the grounds to kill some time before our lunch reservation. Probably my favorite winery in the area. They are having a social hour on the terrace 3:15 to 5 Thursday thru Monday through the month of May. $10 a person waived if a glass of wine is purchased. Also small bites for purchase. Can't wait to go back for that experience.

We tasted our way through many of their wines and became members on the spot. Our favorite wines so far: *Raffinto 2020: "a Sonoma County red wine produced in the style of a Super Tuscan," a blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, and Cab Franc *Sangiovese 2020 *Regale Reserve 2017: "a unique Bordeaux-style blend from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, and Cabernet Franc then aged for thirty months in new French oak barrels." We also tasted and purchased: *Lacrima di La Torre 2021 - excited to open a bottle of this unique wine soon to re-experience it *Rapport dessert wine 2013 *olive oil NOTE: We just found out that the tasting room is temporarily closed as they look for a new space. Whitney was our wine pourer and she was fantastic!! She made the experience extra special, she is so informative, accommodating and really fun! She gave us a mini tour of the wine cave and vineyard. All the wines were delicious, we bought a case to have shipped to our house! After the tasting was over we went outside and hangout on the lawn for a while and enjoyed the beautiful views. Overall great experience, specially for my sister in law's first time at a winery and celebrating her 40th birthday. Can't wait to be back again!!
