We hired him for recurring weekly mowing. We never knew when he'd show up, and it was different almost weekly. When we'd ask when he was coming, he acted annoyed. He came one week only a couple of hours after heavy rain and destroyed part of the yard because it was too wet. I told him it wasn't a big deal because it's been so wet, but just an FYI that he tore up some of the lawn. His response was that our lawn was always too wet in that area...not even a simple sorry, just letting us know it's our fault not his. Then things got bad. He did not show up one week because of rain, and he couldn't fit us in later in the week...which I understand completely. Then the next week he said he was coming, but days went by and nothing...so at the end of the week I messaged him and asked if he was coming, and he said that he didn't have anywhere to put our grass clippings, so no he wasn't. He never even contacted us to let us know that he was having an issue, just gonna no-show. The following week I texted him to ask if he'd let me know when he was on his way so I could clear the yard of the kids toys. He told me that he was not going to allow me to be "checking in on him" and that it wasn't a good fit. He then said he was dropping us the same day he was supposed to show. This guy really treated us wrong and I don't want it to happen to anyone else. We now have a jungle for a lawn and are leaning on a great referral to come fix the mess.

We had some stops and starts but Spencer and his crew were top notch. They are absolutely experts in their field--taking more time than expected and trouble shooting the logistical issues with the geographical limitations of our property, the adjacent lake, and maneuvering around wiring. And the STILL stuck with their original estimate. The whole time they were super communicative and have an incredible patient office staff. The whole team was respectful of our property, checked in to make sure we understood their approach, went above and beyond, and did a remarkable job finishing up. 10/10 recommend if you need tree work done!!!!

I'd had other tree guys come out and pass on it -- difficult lot, trees in tricky spots around my house -- but Kenneth and his crew were up for the challenge and didn't hesitate. On top of that, I was indecisive and kept changing the scope of the job. But even though I kept giving them a moving target, they still hit the bullseye. They showed up with an enormous crane and a full crew with all the right equipment to make quick work of what I thought was a very difficult job. Simply, these guys are pros. Their pricing was very competitive, and they were professional and accommodating every step of the way. Kenneth runs a top-notch operation, and he and his crew went above and beyond. From the first cut to the clean up, they exceeded all my expectations. If you've got tree work that needs doing, these are the people to call. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Amazing Quality Work!…read more You will not find another paving company that will provide this level of quality and service. I had heard good things about Sam Cooper and Son but decided to get 3 estimates anyway. They came in with the best quote for the project I was looking for. They were also the only company to submit a written estimate to me, detailing exactly what the job entailed, square footage, depth of base material and tarmac with the price break down. My driveway which is more than 100 feet long and I didn't quite know what to expect. I can honestly say I was completely blown away by the quality of their work, attention to fine detail and the beautiful curves and grading. This was not a easy job as the driveway is on a hill up from a narrow dirt road. I had also requested an additional parking spot be carved out near the road and a 20 X 20 pad at the top of the drive for a carport. The came with a crew of about 10 and completed the job on time and budget. These guys are in high demand and it's easy to see why. They literally perform works of art and left the drive, yard and road clean and looking immaculate. I really can't say how happy I am with having picked Sam Cooper and Son.
