We came by on a Saturday afternoon when it was starting to get busy -- fortunately we were able to snag a spot indoors. In terms of seating, the tables are probably best for smaller group sizes (2-4). Overall, the indoor space is bright, clean and refreshing. Pork Belly Banh Mi ($14.95, 4.5/5) - I'm a fan of ciabatta in general -- bonus since this one came panini pressed! - Good amount of pork belly - Cucumbers, daikon carrots, and jalapeño add a nice crunch/ kick to balance out the more creamy aioli sauces - Flavors were on point, just wish portion sizes were a bit larger All in all, definitely check out Mendocino Farms if you're in a sandwich mood! The ingredients are very fresh, and the prices are affordable. Looking forward to visiting again and trying other items on their menu.

Mendocino Farms always has such good, fresh, light sandwich options, so I was excited to try this one out. Parking is plentiful, and it's in a newer lot right next to a Snooze. Both feel like popular, high end fast casual chains popping up throughout Austin. Chimichurri Steak & Bacon Sandwich ($15.99, 6.5/10) - Portion size felt on the small side, after finishing the whole sandwich I was still hungry and could've easily eaten another half to feel full - Steak was relatively tender, thin sliced so it was easy to bite through - Chimichurri sauce was a bit more acidic than I'm used to, and the pickled veggies leaned acidic too, could've used something creamy to balance it all out - Bread was really good, and overall sandwich quality still felt high - Would've been nice to get a bag of chips included, given you're paying $15.99 for just the sandwich Overall, Mendocino Farms still brings high quality ingredients and good food. I've had another sandwich here in the past that I really enjoyed, so next time I'll probably switch it up and try something different. Good sign that the quality holds up across their different menu items.

So I decided to stop by and get one at Tuccis! let me just start off by saying that they load the subs up!! The portions are huge for about ~$13 a sub so that's a plus. Ordering and checking out was quick and service is no frills but it's nice to see they remember locals orders. I ended up dining in which was partially why my rating is a bit lower. I would recc taking out since there wasn't anyone bussing the tables so it was a bit untidy. I was really excited about the sandwich but the cuts of meat were a bit tough (prosciutto) and I probably should've gotten white bread since the wheat kinda fell apart. I'll have to comeback and try a diff combo.

I ordered the Da Vinci with most of the veggies and sauces, because that's how I roll. The first bite of that sandwich defied my expectations. I'm pretty sure the sky opened up and I could hear singing. It was so darn good. But the sandwich also left me with questions. Who is Ike? How did he learn to make sandwiches this good? How did they build a sandwich with that many toppings and still keep the bread from getting soggy? And how did it taste just as good on day two as it did on day one? The only question I can answer is how soon I'll try this place again. Very soon.

My friends got the hamburgers and they seemed to enjoy them but I was too deep in my sandwich to notice much lol! We also got the fried pickles which are very unique- instead of just breaded slices/spears they wrap the pickle with cheese in a wonton wrapper or something along those lines and deep fry the package. I'd say in general I prefer the standard fried pickle as I'm crazy about them, but for a fun and different take on it I enjoyed them!
