I did a major renovation to make a home more handicap accessible and safer/smarter: widen interior doorways; redesign 3 baths to be wheelchair friendly including a roll in shower, heated tile floors and bidet toilets; a LOT of electrical work--recessed lights, smart switches, ceiling fans, lots more circuits in the kitchen & baths and more; crown moulding; new interior and exterior doors/hardware; skylights; some new exterior siding; hardwood/tile floor; paint inside/out; HVAC changes; recirculating hot water and some upgrades in the kitchen. Dorson did an incredible job of quarterbacking an army of really good sub-contractors and solving/addressing the daily challenges, goofs, questions and changes. A True Professional!

Jorge came over and we talked about how the process worked, how we could break up what I wanted done into smaller more affordable chunks. He was extremely flexible with me being able to add things to be done, at a reasonable price, with reasonable notice-for scheduling. So far He has taken down the track lighting in the kitchen and replaced it recessed led lighting which is amazing by itself and has made my kitchen look brand new. He has replaced the hall lighting with the same kind of lights which allow me to see much better, less hazardous. He has replaced the vanity large, bulky, oversized, old light with a sleek new stylish light, which led me to see I also needed to replace the fan light in the bathroom, the sink and faucet. Now he is repairing some cabinet doors and will patch a wall area, install a toilet paper hanger. We are working towards blinds for the windows, lighting for the living room and flooring for the house. The work he has done is excellent quality and is a huge value add both financially and lifestyle/comfortwise. He has had excellent advice and ideas and has also listened to what I want and offered pros and cons while still being respectful. I am very, very happy with my experience and will continue to work with Jorge and Willamette Valley Home Improvement Projects LLC. I look forward to the time when I can have my siding replaced and get other large things accomplished. Thank you to Jorge and willamettehomeprojects@gmail.com +1 (503) 689-0267

I called Jason Cravenho on a Wednesday to get a quote on replacing my roof. He normally uses an…read moreonline program to estimate the job, but trees were covering the satellite view of my home. He came out the next morning (Thursday) and estimated the job. His estimate was very reasonable, considering the extent of the job. The estimate included materials and labor for 42 squares of shinges, a synthetic underlayment, ice and water shield in the valleys, new flashing and edging all around, and a replacing all the roof vents and up to 2 sheets of plywood. The shingles are Owens-Corning Duration 40-year architectural shingles. The coming weekend was supposed to be rain-free, and I asked if they could start right away. He said he could start at 0830 Sunday morning. I picked the shingle color from a link on his website and printed off the contract he emailed me. He asked for half the fee up front. At 0830 Sunday morning he and his crew showed up at my house in Otis - an hour from his shop in Keizer. I gave Jason a check for half the bid and a signed contract, they climbed up the roof and started tearing it off. Jason estimated they would be done Tuesday evening. In a few hours they had half the roof torn off and had started putting on underlayment and the ice and water shield.. I had to leave on business. When I returned Wednesday afternoon the roof was done. It looks FANTASTIC! New metal edging all along the house, flashing in an area where there had been a leak, no more leaks around my gutters, some rotted fascia replaced and the whole thing cleaned up. Jason had sent me photos of the roof that morning, but in person was better. Jason also told me that an addtional 4 sheets of plywood had to be replaced. He also emailed me an invoice for the remainder of the bill. When it was all said and done there was an additional 1 hour of labor plus 4 sheets of plywood billed - an extra $205. Very reasonable for replacing the plywood, fascia, and a rotted 2x4. The next day his crew showed up again to re-clean. I had thought it was fine, but Jason had seen some things he thought needed cleaned up better. I sent the check for the balance with his crew. I would use Cravenho Construction again without hesitation. From contact to final clean-up was a week and they straight-up did everything they said they would do on time and for the amount we agreed upon. I couldn't be happier with this experience!

He told us he's going to make it right and even sent people out to assess the damage and determine what it would take to remove the staining from the ceiling. This dragged on forever; in the meantime, additional rainstorms showed that they had not properly flashed around the skylights. They did fix those issues, including replacing one of the skylights at no cost. But the ceiling issue was never resolved. It dragged on for years, and we tried to be understanding and patient. We heard claims that the insurance company would be involved to help rectify. Nothing came of it, and our texts were soon ignored. The ceilings are still water-stained.
