We have brought our fur-babies here over the years. Our pup pomsky is learning about life and we…read moredecided in deed AK was the place to kennel him as we know they have all the knowledge skills training and loyal employees (heck its been family owned and run almost 100 years) so our lil man was left in the best of care! Top notch facility, location, safe and secure, and he got his nails done! We are so lucky to have AK in our county! Again if you have any ?s ask we did! See you again AK! Did I say the staff has only been friendly to us as well! Thank you for keeping pricing very reasonable too!!!!

I brought my elderly dog in for a 4th of July visit. It was supposed to be a 4 day stay. I…read moreexplained to the attendant that he was having incontinence issues, and I was told not to worry, that he would be well cared for. I asked about extra services and was told that since it was going to be such a busy weekend that he wouldn't need anything, and she talked me out of the extras. When I picked him up, I was shocked at how badly he smelled of urine. There is no doubt that they just left him to lay in his own urine the whole time I was gone. The smell was so bad that I had to drive home with the windows down and then took him straight into the shower when we arrived. I don't know if he got any attention or if he was actually let out at all. The urine smell suggests that he wasn't. They could have done so much better. I would not recommend that anyone leave their pets here.

These guys are family. I have bringing my dog Nora to Wag 'n Woofs since I rescued her almost 5…read moreyears ago. They have been absolutely amazing. I really appreciate that this is a family-owned small business and not a large chain like a number of the other local doggy daycare/boarding facilities. They get to know all of the pups super well. They are really "blossomed" the past year and a half in terms of offering tons of fun theme days where you can get photos of your dog dressed up and participating in activities (bunny ear photos and Easter egg hunt for Easter!) They also post fun updates to social media and have tons of cameras so you can check in on your pup throughout the day if you choose. They have helped me out soooo many times including when I have been running late for the pick-up or reaching out for a late reservation or an add-on service. The ability to be able to have Nora get groomed, nails clipped, and her anal glands expressed all during a regular day at daycare is amazing and so convenient. When we moved just over a year ago, we literally made sure to keep in mind the distance between us and Wag 'n Woofs because bringing her elsewhere was not an option. Thanks so much for all your team does!

It's fun to see all the pups play throughout the day. The camera is also how I know my dog likes some workers more than others and when he is (or is not) having a good time. With any doggy daycare sickness tends to travel around and my dog has fallen sick from daycare before. Something to be aware of. Overall a good daycare for your pet.

Do you have a new puppy? Are you seeking help from professionals who have real life experience…read moreproperly training dogs? If yes, look no further then the Canine Coach in Saint Paul. We took the 7-week introductory puppy course with instructor Brittany P. and it was a life saver. Brittany taught us how to control our puppy with techniques such as the quiet hold, zen activities, puppy socialization tactics to help with safety measures, and proper leash walking recommendations. This introductory class really helped us understand puppy behavior, how to course correct and integrate obedience training into our daily lives. Something ironic is that week #1 we had about 5 puppies and as every week passed, we ended up being the only group / puppy for the final 3 weeks so we basically got 1:1 attention! Not sure where / why others backed down but we still really appreciated all that Brittany was able to help us with. Her energy and enthusiasm for puppy obedience were outstanding. Within this puppy course, there are obedience steps you will learn in your training and then complete homework assignments where you will plug and play what you learned into your daily routine (IE: during outdoor walks, kennel time, feeding, sleeping, etc.) There is a generous parking lot on the side and there are two rooms within the building. I can only speak towards the top level as that is where my training was and the space felt very clean considering how many dogs visit each day. My understanding of the basement room is that it is used for agility training but I am sure you can confirm this on the website. We had so much fun that we will probably return for level 2 training. Thank you, thank you!

Pros: Large selection of classes. If you have a dog, you can probably find something they'll like…read moreto do. Prices are reasonable. Multiple locations throughout the cities. Clean facilities. Cons: If your dog attends the very expensive Boot Camp or Fit Dogs programs they spend 3-4 20 minute sessions with a trainer, the rest of the day your dog is in a kennel. My dog did both and I can't recommend. There is a lack of consistency between trainers. Take the same course with 2 different trainers, terms and methods will all be different. Communication with the office is difficult. I and 3 others I know who used them found the same. Last but definitely not least, serious lack of professionalism in trainers. My boy took the CGC course. He passed the practice test on the last week. I posted I was proud of him on a Facebook group. The following week he failed the official test. His trainer/evaluator went on the Facebook group and mocked us, saying we received divine retribution for bragging and need to eat humble pie. Needless to say we withdrew from the other classes he was registered for. The office has repeatedly ignored my requests to speak to someone about it.
