Cassandra was great to work with and I am so glad I hired her. We had regular meetings leading up to my wedding that were on my time, and at my office or somewhere close to my house. She is extremely detailed and goes over every minute of your special day. She recommended great vendors, responds to emails and texts almost immediately, and was just someone I could text any time of the day when I had an idea or concern about the wedding and I would get a response that reassured me. For the day of the wedding I cant even sing her praises enough. I didnt get a single panicked phone call from anyone because she was in touch with all the vendors all day. She arrived at the venue early, she was the first one there, and the last one to leave at at night. She made sure everything was set out perfectly, then at the end of the night, made sure everything was packaged up and ready to go and be picked up. During the wedding she kept us on our pre-planned schedule, which is so easy to divert from when you have 20 people pulling you each way. She made sure we ate, and had something to drink, and that all my guests knew where to sit. I do events professionally and as an event professional, I know that you cant do it all yourself and that if you hire good help, your event will run smoothly, and that is definitely what you need on a day like your wedding day.

And that is only the beginning of the nightmare we experienced. Not enough food for our 30 guests when we ordered food for 50...the flowers never arrived...and after crying, I was left with gossip from the party goers that I put on horrible parties. Then Cindy with Eclectic Events is your planner. Cindy accompanied us throughout the entire process from meeting with vendors and making sure we weren't taken advantage of. Though all our vendors were great, the added experience of Cindy ensured a positive wedding planning experience. She covered all the minuscule details and our agenda was kept on track! From the girls hair and makeup, to the grooms haircuts, limousine pick ups, church photos, the various photographers involved, and the time schedule for the reception events including our sunset pictures, everything went off flawless! Cindy stayed in contact with us the entire wedding process. She might have drive some vendors crazy, but she knew what she was doing and looked out for us, her clients. We met with Sal and Junior and hit it off immediately - the whole process was fluid and stress free. Junior was our DJ and did an excellent job creating the vibe we wanted. We got so many compliments on how much our guests enjoyed the music and the photo booth, our photo booth man was fun and got people to create memorable images. My wife and I got married at the darling hotel on 12/12/24, and I think we booked Sal (officially) a few months before the wedding after previously talking with him months before. Even with the short time crunch, Sal had us covered! He gave us very easy forms to fill out with the songs we wanted, when to play them, which songs we absolutely had to play, what not to play etc. Sal took the time to get us on the phone and for the first 30 minutes, he just wanted to get to know us! Asked for our story, what we did for work, etc. and vice versa! We got to know him as well which made everything fit perfectly as time went on! my wife and I had some trouble figuring out songs for some of the formalities like father daughter dance, and some of the walk outs for the wedding party, but Sal was able to nail it with his suggestions after getting to know us a little better! The day of the wedding came and Sal was ON POINT with everything! Sal isn't just any ordinary wedding DJ that goes through the motions of hitting play and making announcements.. He literally goes above and beyond, making everything flow effortlessly without any awkward in between moments, and the fact that we had gotten to know each other.. it was like having a family member DJ the wedding! Also: Our baby girl was 7 months old during our wedding, and we had misplaced her baby formula. Sal over heard what was going on and offered to call his contacts in town to go pick up baby formula for our daughter if we needed so we wouldn't have to worry about it. We ended up finding the formula, but TELL ME WHO WOULD DO THAT?! SAL IS F'N AWESOME FOR THAT! Hands down, bliss events group knows what they're doing. Never once did I ever feel like I had to worry about the DJ being on que or if they were going to be properly prepared. If I ever need a DJ in the future for any type of event, I'm definitely going with bliss events group and would refer them to anyone. Lastly: They are busy! Sal mentioned he was booked almost EVERY DAY in December and we are so grateful that he made time for our wedding. We didn't get a call back right away, but keep in mind.. A BUSY DJ IS A GOOD DJ!     My fiance and I went today for our scheduled venue tour. Upon arrival, we encountered a closed gate…read moreand an extremely poor intercom system. We were told by whoever finally responded to the security system, that the staff member was "probably on the way because they weren't calling him back". After waiting over 20 minutes, I finally received a call from someone named Parm, who said my appointment was actually scheduled on March 22nd. When I tried to explain to him that I had canceled that appointment and rescheduled for today, he immediately cut me off and told me that I needed to listen to him now. My fiance overhead his tone of voice and immediately told him that he wasn't to speak to me in that manner. Bottom line, things happen for a reason. We were unable to tour the venue as scheduled, treated very unprofessionally by the staff, and therefore decided to look elsewhere for our wedding venue.

She knows how to get things done and get them done right. I can't even imagine what my wedding day would have been like without her. We booked a venue that was a completely blank slate because we had a very specific vision for what we wanted the wedding to be and look like. Barb came in with the perfect suggestions for vendors and great advice about logistics. She knew exactly who to call when we said we wanted TONS of color in our florals. She knew exactly what we needed when we said the venue doesn't have a built-in bar. She read through and kept on top of all our contracts. We booked her more than a year ahead of our wedding and she stayed in contact the entire time. We had 280 total guests and the Fresno Event Group knew exactly how to handle the movement of all of the guests from parking to ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. Cindy was great at setting up the site map and worked with us when we had questions about table layout and the best setup for flow. Barb had tons of tips and suggestions for moving all of the guests from space to space in our massive venue! I had one inspirational photo and a general theme and the Fresno Event Group turned our wedding into a live Pinterest board. Every single detail and idea we had was brought to life in a way that was a billion times better than we could have imagined. Everything was perfect! Barb and the team put out every little fire leading up to the wedding day and on the day of if something went wrong, I had no idea. I was living my dream wedding all thanks to their team! Our guests keep calling our wedding the best wedding they've ever been to and I truly owe that all to the Fresno Event Group.

I met Barbara while I was working in the hotel industry and I instantly loved her personality and warmth. When I got engaged about 5 years later, I immediately called Barbara to hire her for my wedding, knowing full well I wouldn't have enough time or patience to plan my whole wedding from start to finish and that I would be in great hands. (I also didn't want my bridal party or family putting out the decor or being in charge of coordinating the vendors the day of the wedding, I wanted it to be a relaxing day for all.) The whole FEG Team (Barb, Cindy and Nicole) exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond anything I could have imagined from an event coordinating company. Barb met with me anytime I needed (she doesn't restrict her clients to a max amount of meetings because she's realistic and knows that planning an event may need multiple meetings and site visits to make things perfect). She kept me on track and was incredibly organized during the whole process. She accompanied us to all vendor meetings and even met with our vendors alone if we couldn't make it. She was also amazing with my in-laws - she kept them in the loop the whole time and gained their trust right away with her professionalism and follow through. We had some difficulties dealing with our venue and she was always there willing to go to bat for us to make sure we were happy with the end result. Barb's whole team was there from the moment the tent went up on the Thursday before the wedding until the tent and pipe & drape came down on Sunday after the wedding was over. I was lucky enough to have Barb, Cindy and Nicole all there on my wedding day (4.16.16) and they worked SO hard to make sure everything about the day was beyond perfect. They never once came to tell me if anything was going wrong, they just handled it. I was more relaxed on my own wedding day than I've been for all my girlfriends' weddings! It was the most amazing day and I truly have Barb and her team to thank for that. They even surprised us with a thoughtful wedding gift.
