When I refused to take on that liability for just 'a couple of extra dollars,' I was let go. On top of that, I was told by another employee that if anything happened to the truck, I'd be the one on the hook. Then, just hours after letting me go, Keith asked me to come back--but for less than what we originally agreed on. I considered it because I needed a job, but before I could even return, he changed his mind again, saying he found someone else. I showed up on time, was reliable, and did my job as expected, but none of that mattered. Keith is cheap when it comes to labor and materials, prioritizing cost-cutting over quality and fairness. He wants employees to shoulder risks that he, as the business owner, should be handling. He doesn't respect his workers, nor does he have their best interests at heart. I came in ready to work and learn, but this experience made one thing clear--this is not a company worth working for. If you're a potential employee or customer, I strongly advise looking elsewhere.
