And he would only refer me to a very VERY expensive oral surgeon that required upfront payment of $2700 to pull my infected tooth. So, unable to afford that, I lived with it for another year and a half while it caused me much further suffering and pain. I finally found a qualified dentist who was willing to do the extraction for a mere $40 - at The Denture Company Boise. He was very kind and very fast. Helped me on the very same day I went in. Do yourself a favor and AVOID White Pine Dental at all costs. Their X-rays and referrals cost me MORE than the other dentist who actually DOES the work. The BBB should shut White Pine down.

She was very kind and informative, explaining things as she went without ever making it feel overwhelming or overbearing. Rachel, the office manager (I'm pretty sure), really wrapped up the whole experience so well. She went over my treatment plan with me, helped schedule my follow-up, and made sure I understood everything before I left. She was so thoughtful and even made sure my daughter had some little toys to take home with her. Even the small touches stood out, like offering me water during my appointment. I have a tendency to gag, so I kept pushing her hand away to get some air and wipe my wet mouth. She said if I keep pushing her hand away she will end the cleaning. Then she tells me to raise my hand if a problem occurs afterwards. I never got my teeth polished she said the machine doesn't work. She did a beautiful job cleaning my teeth and gave me a generous goody bag. Overall, the Hygienist was friendly and was knowledgeable except for that one rude incident.

Holladay Dental Studio is a high-overhead dental office that compensates the cost incurred by their…read more"comfort menu", snacks, and free drinks by charging overpriced and overdramatized dental services, recommendations, and upcharges. My hygienist was very kind and accommodating. I waited 30 minutes before being seen which she apologized for and gave me a $5 gift card to Starbucks which is nice (but speaks to the high cost of operating this place). She seemed to listen and did a good job cleaning my teeth. 2 stars is for her. My dentist smelled of private equity and a complete disinterest in people he doesn't relate to. He recommended up-charged toothpaste, and up-charged filling material after explaining basic dental hygiene before asking about my existing habits. Then gave a treatment plan with high cost and high urgency. I received a second opinion from a lower-overhead dentist who had practical equipment and no comfort menu or drinks to speak of, but the same service was offered at a much more affordable price and much of what was itemized by Holladay was included in the overall cost from a well-regarded dentist in the area. My personal cost-incurred was around 1/4 of what Holladay quoted. He knew he could have come in at 7/8 of Holladay's cost and would have won my business but he charged for what I needed and committed to monitoring the rest as they were not of immediate importance. If you drive a Range Rover, require luxury in everything you do, and enjoy lighting money on fire, I'd recommend Holladay. If you drive a Toyota, require practical, affordable dental care from someone who takes pride in providing to the majority of the population without the frills, I'd look elsewhere.
