Sent a request through Yelp for service and the owner responded super quickly. Tu (technician) was sent out within an hour. Tu was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable... and fixed our issue. I will definitely call Drain Rooter Service for future plumbing needs! read more

We are incredibly appreciative of Todd's excellent work. We had a sink drain that was leaking, and Todd came out incredibly quickly. His quote was *extremely reasonable*, and it turned out to be a lot of work to replace our sink drain and piping, as it was all fused on. Todd also looked at some other plumbing issues we had and explained what was going on. It is hard to find a plumber that is prompt, reasonably priced, and straightforward -- Todd is it. He is now our go-to- plumber -- and I highly recommend. read more

Fantastic service. Requested at around 5 pm and accommodated my request immediately. He found the root cause and cleaned the main sewer line. After cleaning the main sewer line, he also placed a camera probe and showed the entire main line and walked me through the cause for the clog in the main sewer line. Reasonable pricing and great quality of work. read more

Called and Todd arrived quickly. And it was at the end of a very hot day. Our kitchen sink had backed up and my efforts were no help. Todd came in and with up to date equipment and lots of experience, figured out the problem. It was an under-the sink problem. It took lots of work but Todd did an excellent job. He was clean, efficient and pleasant. I would strongly recommend him. read more

Problem I called them about got fixed plus they found a secondary leak and when I saw it I was especially grateful because it was a new drip coming from a toilet under the house. Now it's all fixed. Thank you so much. read more

Tu came out right after I called to say we had blockages in the garage sink and also in the kitchen sink. He was able to snake both of them and get it unclogged. He was easy to understand when he explained the problem and fixed it right then and there He waited until the washer was finished to make sure it worked properly. I would highly recommend this company for cleaning out your drains. read more

We had a major shower drain backup. Called Todd at Drain Rooter Service. Todd was able to have his technician Tu respond within 30 minutes. Tu tried to clear the drain using the typical drain rooter but was not sucessful. He entered our crawl space to check the piping. We had old cast iron piping (house was built in 1964) and found there were too many bends for his rooter to reach. He suggested replacing the piping with ABS. He gave us a quote which I accepted. He had all the materials in his truck and was able to complete the project same day. He was also able to check on low water flow at our kitchen faucet and found the faucet to be defective. The cost was fair as he was here for over 3 hours. Tu was very pleasent to work with, communcated very well and left the house clean. I highly recommend Drain Rooter Service read more

100% recommend. We had a main line blockage which we originally reached out through our home warranty company who sent a plumber which took 3 days, who then said we didn't have a ground access line and they couldn't do the repair right then as it had to be from the roof vent and needed other equipment/person/cost. And it wasn't covered under the warranty contract - more delay without any water. Reached out to Todd who responded right away, provided a cost estimation and came the next morning. Arrived early and found we actually had 2 ground access lines (one on our property and one for the city by the sidewalk - both of which the prior plumber could have used) with his specialist camera equipment. Also showed me the status of my pipes and city pipes with camera. Problem resolved in 30 mins, excellent service, very reasonable price. read more

When I went looking for a company to take care of replacing one of our toilets, Todd was the first to respond and he provided a very reasonable estimate. He was also very easy to work with the schedule a visit that worked with my schedule. On the day of, he showed up a couple minutes early wearing a mask, took off his shoes before entering the house, and proceeded to quickly and efficiently get the job done, doing a nice job of clean-up after he and his colleague were finished. That already earned him a 5-star review from me. Fast forward 3 days - I realize that I should have asked him to caulk the base of the newly installed toilet when he installed it, and that my kitchen sink suddenly won't drain - both my fault. I sent him a message at 7:49am asking if he could come back to take care of the former and provide a quote for the latter. He responded within 10 minutes and was at my house by 9:45am the same day. He lowered his price for the sink after seeing that our house has a trap, and finished both jobs within 45 minutes of arriving. That would have earned him a second 5-star review if that was an option. Todd lives in the area, is very professional, is fair with his pricing and does good work. I would recommend him to anybody, and he'll definitely be my first call for future plumbing needs. read more

Superb service. Todd did a great job unclogging our toilets on short notice. Will definitely use again!

Our kitchen drain was clogged on a Friday afternoon and they arrived within 45 minutes of me calling. They quickly resolved the issue and also found an issue with the faucet and resolved that quickly too. read more

I received a call from our renter at 2pm, reviewed the yelp reviews and glad I called Drain Rooter Service. It is now 4:15 and the kitchen drains and 2 showers were all rotored clean. The service was quick and efficient. The renter's were thrilled this was such a quick turnaround. The phone was answered quickly and the appointment set on the first phone call. None of the let me see my schedule stuff. The price was quoted on the phone immediately. Love this service. Thank you again. If I need this done again, I would use their services. read more

We had a very difficult toilet clog that the plumber could not clear with the snake after hours or trying. After installing a downstream clean-out, Todd came out with his water jet and cleared it in 10min Fast response, and great service... this is the second time Todd has helped us out read more

I called Todd on Sunday afternoon because the toilets and showers were not draining and he showed up about 20 mins later. He gave a free estimate for the work and was up on the roof evaluating the problem, not hesitating to go up or down the ladder as needed on a really hot day (95 degrees). His quote was very reasonable so we decided to go forward and proceed to clear the drains. He found our initial problem was not as much work as he originally quoted and adjusted his price accordingly instead of hiding the true cost of the work. He also gave us the footage of our drain system in case we ever need it in the future. No BS, he just got right down to helping us fix our issue quickly and affordably. Will definitely be saving his number in my phone for any future issues and would highly recommend Todd! read more

I was provided a quick estimate to replace a kitchen faucet. The technician showed up on time at my home and did a clean job. After the faucet was replaced, there was a small unrelated leak that he spent time diagnosing and showed me what to buy and fix it myself. I recommend this business! read more

Todd has done a great job resolving a sewer concern just now, one year after we hired him last time. We suspected that sewer water was flowing out of our planter, and we contacted him through Yelp to ask for guidance, as we didn't really witness a leakage on our own. He instructed us to reproduce the problem, and as soon as we were able to reproduce the sewer leakage he arrived at our house within 30 minutes. It turned out our issue was a combination of a clogged sewer line and a missing cap on a clear out that we don't know actually existed underneath the planter, so that when the flow in the drain is large enough, water gets released from the clear out. He unclogged the drain and then replaced the cap. All was done within an hour. read more

Cannot recommend highly enough. Quick, easy, and great prices! Can't beat a combo like that. From call to done in just around an hour! Todd came by and handled things in record time. Clear communication, polite and respectful service, with all the necessary precautions in these post-covid times, even took his shoes off before coming inside! Truly a professional. He told us if he couldn't unclog it he'd charge us nothing! That's confidence in your service I can get behind. We had a backed up kitchen sink that we gave our best efforts, but Todd made short work of snaking it and did a bit of pipe repair (we were missing a gasket that was causing a leak). What a relief! I said it before, but it bears repeating, a pleasure to work with and exceeded expectations. I can't recommend highly enough, will definitely be my go to service going forward. It's hard to find a reliable trustworthy service with as quick a turnaround as this. The card says "Honest service, honest price." and I can happily say from experience that it's true. Thank you again, it was a joy and you put our minds at ease. Couldn't be happier, only regret is not calling sooner! read more

Simply amazing.....yes, that's how I will describe Todd and his team. When I required immediate service, Todd was there to help in our time of need. I scheduled an appointment with Drain Rooter Service for the slow drain problem at my bath sink. Todd came over yesterday, he is courteous and arrived on time. He is able to identify it's vent problem, not clogging. Another plumber with good Yelp reviews came last week but unable to figure it out. So it shows Todd knows his stuff very well. I'm surprised he even went extra mile to go up to check vent pipe at roof, and confirmed it's lacking vent pipe for the sink. Todd is professional and honest, I would definitely call Todd again for any plumbing issues in the future. read more

Very quick response and the technician Too was great. Very knowledgeable and completed the repair very professionally and quickly.

I got a big plugged main sewage . Two guys came.Nothing worked. Call around for 5 other plumbing for estimate. Finally I picked Todd from the good reviews he got plus his price was more reasonable than others. Thank you Todd...for very good service provided. read more

I contacted Todd on a Saturday and he was here in 15 minutes! Yes, he was doing another job in the neighborhood, but he was an exceptionally clear communicator and had no problem finding my place. (I live in a 40 building condo complex). He got out of his truck with protective gear already on and kept safe social distancing standards the entire time. Todd looked at the problem in my bathroom sink and told me the (very reasonable) pricing before he got started--he also was very clear he wouldn't charge me if he had not diagnosed the problem properly. Todd is cheerful, friendly, and straightforward---AND my sink is now perfect! As a single woman who has no idea about sinks and pricing, and as a person nervous with this pandemic we're dealing with, Todd was honest, careful, and extremely easy going. I'm thrilled to have this plummer now in my lists of contacts! Thank you Todd read more

This is my 2nd time calling Drain Rooter Service to perform plumbing work at my house and both times, they exceeded expectations! The first time was a few months ago where we had a clogged kitchen sink. I tried snaking it, but failed miserably. I messaged a bunch of plumbing companies through Yelp and Tony from Drain Rooter responded right away with pricing and availability. He came over and cleared everything right away with his commercial equipment that I didn't have at home. The 2nd call out was just a few mins ago. Now my bathroom sink in the master bedroom was clogged and once again, I tried snaking it myself to no avail. I gave up after an hours worth of troubleshooting and went back through my Yelp messages looking for Tony's info. I remembered that Tony was awesome so I decided to message him back again. Within minutes, he called me and gave me a few different options for availability. He came by within the hour and worked his magic again. My bathroom sink has been cleared and I will not shop around for a plumber ever again. Tony's number has been saved and he'll be my go to guy every time for any future plumbing issue! read more

Drain Rooter - Two way clean out access - Plumbing Near Me

Todd and his crew replaced the drainpipes under the house seven months ago (both sewer and kitchen). There was a major blockage inside, and I initially had a different company come to do the outside work who... let's just say I definitely needed somebody else for the inside work. When I got new bids, Drain Rooter went over all the pipes with their equipment, explored the crawlspace area to see what they had to work in, and then we discussed options for the issues with the pipes and workspace. They were forthright and upfront and they won the bid with their practicality and attention to detail. During the work, they also impressed me with their on-the-job training of their apprentice and the amount of care they took in explaining everything to him, including why it was important to be careful of the sealant and how to make sure there weren't problems later. They were respectful of our home, laying down worksheets on the inside to make sure they wouldn't track dirt or debris (and believe me, not all companies are this thoughtful!) - I was also impressed that they had a sheet specifically for the hardwood area that had microdots underneath for safety and stability; it's a little detail, but it goes with the whole of their thoughtfulness to the overall situation and full work planning. Their attention to safety overall was A+. They did an excellent job replacing the under-house pipes. After the work, they went back through again with the camera to make sure everything was okay and all the joins were smooth. In the months since, the system has been extensively used and there have been no issues at all! I would 100% recommend Drain Rooter Service! read more

I have now called on Todd from DRS to service my main line 3 times. Todd has always arrived in a timely manner, been friendly and very knowledgeable about his craft. He has given me lots of tips to avoid having a clogged line(my family doesn't listen) and he has been right on with what he thinks is the issue. He ran the tests then backed it up with facts. He had to run the camera down the line to see what he already knew was roots in the city's portion of the clay pipe just passed what I am responsible for. Even came out and seen what was happing and said I did not need him and called the city for me to come take care of it for free. The guys knows his stuff and seems to be a honest tradesman. I recommend him to my friends and neighbors and they have been very satisfied with his workmanship. Thank you. read more

Drain Rooter Service was not my first call. I called another highly rated rooter service first and they told me they could get someone to come by the next morning and gave absolutely no price estimate or even a guess. That was not satisfactory. I called Drain Rooter Service and they told me there would be a technician out in twenty minutes and he would give me a price before he got started with NO charge to come out!! Hung was my technician and he crawled under the house and checked out a few more things, carefully, before he gave me an estimate. Then he explained how he knew where the problem was. It all made sense, he gave me a very fair estimate and proceeded when I accepted his estimate. He resolved the problem, gave me a thirty day warranty, cleaned up nicely and was on his way. Fast service, very fair price, very professional service is what I received. As Hung left, I told him that I would call him next time I needed rooter service, but I hoped it wouldn't be too soon. THANKS! "Drain Service Rooter" for fast and great professional service at a reasonable price. Thanks Hung for your help getting me out of a problem. I received no compensation of any kind for this review. I am making this review only because I greatly appreciate reading honest reviews, good or bad, by previous customers. read more

Huge thanks to Todd for rescuing us from a plumbing nightmare last night! Our sewer line backed up in the evening, and they were incredibly responsive, coming out right away to fix the clog. Thank you Todd for such a good job. He showed up at 9.30-ish for a 10am appt. We have a bad clog in the kitchen sink that drains into the garage sink.
