Second visit with a leaky faucet. Let me know when he would be out. Showed up on time and did an excellent job. I notice the less then stellar reviews were from people who did not want to pay his minimum. Tell your mechanic next time and see how far it get's you. read more

Edward answered my call in and showed up within 90 min. Assessed the issues and in short order had the main line cleared out. Charged a fair $225.00 for the call. No more stuck toilets and showers in the house, yeah! Peace in the house. read more

I called Drain Masters to look at my leaking hot water pipe. They were late and late for the appointment time. Then they say they will come tomorrow. But the next day, they missed the appointment without even giving me a call. I have not tried their service. So I am not commenting on that. But the basic professionalism is not there. read more

Fabulous, responsive, attentive service. I called them on the 3rd day of calling for help to multiple companies in the San Jose area. I couldn't get a single callback to save my life. These guys actually answered their phone!!!!!! Edward was wonderful with his follow-up and coming in when we needed help. 5 stars for the unusually excellent service. Added bonus: Affordable. read more

I have had a drain issue with my laundry sink for a long time know as these guys came in and fix the problem in seconds. They were in the area so they were at my home within the half hour and done with everything within 15 minutes from there. There was no assessment or lett us come to the home to diagnose the problem. They quoted me the price, came over and took care of business. I think the thing that I enjoy the most is the 60 days gauratee. I would recommend these to anyone in a second. read more

This is the first time I've ever written a Yelp review! I hate the idea of having to deal with plumbers, mechanics, etc...but had to today because our pipes were backed up. I found Drain Master and gave them a call early this morning. They got here within an hour, and right on time...no nonsense...explained the problem and offered me two options. They took care of the problem in about 20 minutes and now we're back in action! Ed was VERY friendly and knowledgeable. His assistant was also extremely polite. The price was very reasonable and we also got a one year warranty. I'm excited to know there is someone I can call next time I need plumbing help! Thanks guys! read more

I called first thing Monday morning and they said they would be out between 2 - 4pm but would try for earlier if they could. They showed up at 11:15am and had the problem taken care of with in 30 minutes. They were clean, respectful, knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I also liked the 60day guarantee. When I need to have the drains unclogged again I will call on them. read more

These guys are the real deal. Called them at 10:30am on a Saturday with a completely stopped drain. Edward said he'd be by in a little over an hour. He showed up 30 minutes early and was done in 30 more. Price for clearing the drain and replacing the stopper and trap was in line with what others have mentioned. read more

I called Drain Masters after trying to tackle the issue myself, but to no avail I was not able to correct it. I called on Friday morning, received a quote of $125 over the phone and received same day service. I was told service time would be between 2-3 and he showed up at 2:00PM - nice! Service was thorough, friendly, and relatively quick. Within 30 minutes my washing machine was back to washing clothes and my dishwasher washing dishes! Yay for our household! I would call them again in a heartbeat. Cheers! read more

Having just remodeled our kitchen and switched from a single sink to a double sink, we needed a new drain config. under the sink. My husband didn't feel like the back and forth to Home Depot and multiple hours it probably would have taken him and we knew a professional could probably do it within an hour. We called another company to come out and give us a quote (we were willing to spend $200), they wanted almost $300! Then we called Drain Masters. We were given a time slot and told we would be called when he was on his way, he called early and got there right on time. It took him about 40 min and we ended up needing a few extra parts, but the total still only came out to $190. The plumber was friendly and professional, we will definitely call them again if we need any plumbing help. read more

I had a main drain that was partially clogged (most likely sludge from a sagging pipe). I had another plumber come out who diagnosed the blockage as between the house and the street, but was unable to clear it. I called Drain Masters right afterward and they were able to come out the next morning. They quickly diagnosed there was a blockage under the house as well. After snaking for a bit they were able to clear both blockages. They also had a hydro jet in their van, just in case the snake wasn't able to clear the blockage. They were quick, prompt and successful at fixing my plumbing problem. I will definitely call them first next time. read more

We were referred to Drain Masters by a local sprinkler repair company. Edward the owner of Drain Masters was able to detect our plumbing problem within 15 minutes and on top of that he also found out what was wrong with our sprinkler system. He fixed our bathroom toilet and contacted the sprinkler company to explain what the problem was! What a service!! We highly recommend Drain Masters! They were very friendly, work clean, were not too expensive and know what they are doing. We highly recommend them for all your plumbing issues. read more

I have been using Ed/Drain Masters as my plumbing service exclusively for as many years as I can remember....more than 20 years. Every time I call they are right on it. Always the same day I need help. They get the job done quickly, correctly and they are knowledgeable, make helpful recommendations and are extremely respectful of person, place and property. I would never use anyone else! The service exceeds expectations. Plumbing problems are very stressful for homeowners. Ed and company give me the confidence to know that once I call them, everything will be OK. I am very thankful! read more

They came for my toilet 2 times. First time the guy was friendly and fixed everything. Even left the warranty for 6 days. When the problem returned in 5 days I called again and another guy was also friendly but told me there never should be warranty on the snaked toilet. He fixed the problem and something I even didn't ask him to fix (not for free of course) And it would be fine, but yesterday (3 days after the second visit) my toilet stop working again. And I don't want to deal with Drain Masters again. I don't want them to think that I intentionally put there an elephant. read more

If you aren't calling Drain Masters for your plumbing needs, you should be. Ed, the owner, is honest, reliable, and knowledgeable. He is reasonable priced and guarantees his work. I had a major clog, and within minutes the drains were running perfect. Give him a try next time you have a problem. I promise you, that you will be very satisfied. read more

contacted drain master based on yelp review and it does not appear that this company wants my business. This company treated their time more important than mines. I had to follow up 3 times. an appointment was scheduled, no show and no call. Finally contacted me a day later and said is ready to do the work. I finally got the job done without Drain Master. It's a waste of my time. JOe read more

Wouldn't know if these guys were any good at plumbing since they never showed up for the appointment. I left 3 voicemails and did not receive a call back until the next day. They said they got busy at another job so couldn't make it. That would have been fine if I received a call letting me know. I left work early to meet this guy and he didn't show. Total disrespect for someone's time and totally unprofessional. read more

I had them clear a mainline at my house. They ended up installing a clear out and snaking the clog out to the street. He said there wasn't a need to use a camera for inspection. The good news is that it worked... for only 30 days. The clog came back. A person would think their great, very much advertised '60 day warranty' would apply on the same exact clog, right?- wrong! I had to pay again for a camera inspection and clear out? My advice if you go with Drain Masters. - Be sure to ask for the cost right up front and negotiate before ANY work is done. - The Warranty is a Total Marketing Gimmick. You'd think the same exact clog pipe would be covered. Nope, the business tactic is to add extra costs for inspections or blame the city or do anything to get extra money. It might sound nice for them to do 'extra stuff' but they will find a way to charge you. They got me with a camera inspection that should have been covered the first time. A true Real Warranty would have covered a 2nd visit for the same clog. read more

Amazingly reliable and very reasonable prices. I'd rate them higher than 5 stars if it was possible. Rental house was just purchased (bank owned) as is, new tenants just moved in. There were many plumbing issues that needed to be worked on. Main problem was when the second floor toiled flushed, water came out of bathtub drain. Yukk. Called Drain Masters through my real estate office recommendation from other agent who used them all the time, and Yelp reviews. They were out at the house the next day just as they promised. Since there was no cleanout line outside the house, they had to remove the toilet in the garage to access the main drain line. They reinstalled the toilet with a new wax seal and asked us to try it again. It had improved 70%, but the upstairs was still draining slow. The 1/2 bath in the garage was an add on that was planning to be removed anyway. Demolished the 1/2 bath in the garage and the problem became obvious. They came back the second time and replaced the drain from the upstairs bathtub using the ceiling access from the garage. The drain was clogged and leaking and they replaced it with a new drain, overflow, J pipe etc. It was a 100% improvement and now all the drains worked like new. The bill for replacing the complete drain and for 2 day's work was amazingly reasonable. I was expecting at least twice that amount, based on paying other plumbers for similar work. I don't get impressed by someone doing the job they are paid to do, but I can honestly say that these guys went way above and beyond what I expected. read more

Very friendly, great job"so far" they give you 60 days warranty, quick, honest.

I had a miserable stopped up pipe from my house to my street that caused sewage runoff from my downstairs bathroom toilet to the entire downstairs bathroom and beyond. We didn't know what was causing it but we soon noticed every time we ran the washer we had a severe overflow. I searched Yelp and found Drain Masters was rated really high and gave them an immediate call. That evening Joshua came over and snaked my drain but didn't have enough hose to reach the street. First thing in the morning he came right back with bigger tools and took care of the problem within 30 minutes--and all for a great price! Joshua was super sweet and got the job right the first time--love it! I even had conference calls all through and he just came right in and took care of business. Thank you Drain Masters and Joshua!!! YOU GUYS ROCK!!! read more

Had a backed-up pipes (it was overflowing, gross) and found them on Yelp. They came when they said they would (in 90 mins) and cleared up the pipes in an hour. They wore shoe covers, were professional and got the job done with a 60 day warranty. Reasonable price - $125 to unclog the drain. Exactly what I was looking for and will definately use them again. read more

Came out same day I called to get our septic snaked. He did a great job, was done right the first time.

Called them up on a Saturday morning. Within 90 min he is at the door. 30 min later my clog is fixed!

Very reasonable, quick response time, very friendly, very efficient. Would diffidently use them again.

Drain Master's are the best Plumbers in the South Bay! And I'm not just saying that because there my neighbors! Seriously folks... If you have plumbing problems Drain Masters are the ones to call! Prompt, professional and reasonably priced! Thanks Edward! read more

After a horrendous, smelly, fourth of July holiday of plumbing issues where I had two plumbing companies come to investigate. The first one went under the house with pictures and lots of drama about how it was a leaky mess, though the pictures didn't really show it, and wouldn't quote me a price until he called in the closer. Finally saying it would cost "thousands", I then checked Yelp and saw a 2 star rating, I kicked him out. (Lesson learned, go to Yelp first!) I called another plumber and he wouldn't go under the house, he just called the first plumber and agreed with him. I kicked him out as well. Then I called Drain Masters. I called at 9:30 AM and he was here by 10:30 AM and under the house, having me run water, flush toilets to be sure there was no leaks, etc. The other plumbers did not do this. It turns out it was a bad, old toilet wax ring seal. Total job cost $130.00. I love these guys!!! Drain Masters in now my plumbers for life. read more

They saved me! My tenants pipe behind the water heater broke and flooded the house. They were prompt in simply booking an estimate and when they were $400 cheaper than the plumber who was there 10 minutes earlier I decided to go with them. They spent quality time on the repair that took hours to complete same day. No small talk, just got to work, which I appreciated when I was stressed beyond belief. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they included some drywall which wasn't included in the quote that they mentioned at the end, but it wasn't too much more. Honestly, I'm pretty sure the job cost more than what I was charged but I'm unemployed and I pleaded for help, seeing that everyone else quoted much higher. I'm thankful that they rescued me and when I have a problem next time I know who I'm calling! read more

Unfortunately, I've had to call Drain Masters 3 times in the first 6 months in our new home, but every time they've been prompt, efficient, polite (well, more than polite, all the way to friendly... and for plumbing jobs like these, that's not something I expect), and very reasonably priced. I recommend them without reservation, and will call them first with any plumbing problems in the future (although I really hope not to have to call them again any time soon!). read more

After considering two other plumbers I choose Drain Masters for extending a gas line into the kitchen. 1.They seem well experienced. Took exactly the time they said it will take to complete the job 2. Reasonably priced 3. They were nice enough to unclog the dish washer pipe line connecting to the kitchen sink for free while another plumber said it would mean to replace the kitchen sink grinder altogether and cost me 120$ I would go for DrainMasters with no hesitation whatsoever. read more

It was a pleasure having Dave come fix our clogging issue with the garage sink. It was fast and efficient. Dave was very polite and respectful. He put on shoe covers and that's one important detail that I always pay attention to. If you can do that without being told; it shows that you respect my home and that's a great plus with me.
