Superman Brian came to my house and was able to fix the clog issue after a lot of hard work...I sure appreciated the timeliness of his visit (same day as distress call), and his absolute professionalism, consideration, and courtesy...even my standoffish dog gave him kisses! I am most appreciative....THANK YOU! read more

Technician Brian did a fantastic job sizing up the clogged pipe problem and quickly got to its solution. Entire job took only 90 minutes. Brian has a great sense of humor and is a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend. read more

They were able to send someone out within a few hours from when I called to check out my problem and give a quote to fix it. I decided to move forward and they were able to start on the work immediately. Brian was helpful and thorough and finished the job within the quoted time. Great experience, hopefully I won't need to return but I'll certainly be calling them again if I do have another problem read more

Wow. I couldn't be more happy about this company DrainAway if I tried. We had a drain issue that was affecting some parts of the plumbing system and not others. One plumber wasn't available for 10 days. Another said they didn't do drain clearing - especially where septic tanks are involved. Not DrainAway. Not only do they advertise SAME DAY in most instances, they were courteous on the phone, understood my issue, explored it a bit. Then, checked the schedule and had a person who could come up later in the day. That person called ahead to tell me about when they'd be here (within the window I was quoted), listened to me walk through the situation, diagnosed the situation, and fixed the issue. All within 45 minutes. The cherry on top was the price -- very reasonable! So, high value, great customer service, responsiveness, effectiveness. Hard to beat that. read more

Came out quickly and solved our toilet flooding issue. Great explanation of how to avoid the same issue in the future. Will definitely use again. read more

Nearly on time. Good service, competitive price, professional service, . Would use again and highly recommend.

I had Drain Away take care of my sewer issue today. First of all, I received a call early this morning from Rex. He confirmed my appoint would be between 10:00 am & 12:00pm. I received a call at 9:45 am and Brian C. arrived promptly at 10:00 am. Brian was very professional, knowledgeable, clean, and respectful. Once the problem was diagnosed, he contacted James because it was a two person job. They were back to fix my issue within an hour. I so appreciate the way they took care of my issue promptly, and they respected me and my hone. I would definitely recommend Drain Away to anyone with a plumbing issue to everyone that may ask. Thank You, Lorraine J.. read more

James came out to clean the drains under my kitchen sink on 9/11/23. He was very professional and punctual and didn't even make a mess! Very happy with the service. Fast forward to 11/22/23... my dishwasher was not draining and backing up while I had to wait for a new one to be delivered. James came out within 48 hours of calling. He explained that it would resolve with the installation of the new dishwasher. He did not charge for the service call and professional information. I highly recommend Drain -Away! read more

IMHO this company is a model for other plumbing concerns. The tech (Brian) arrived before he said he would within less than an hour after I called. He assessed the situation, suggested a fix which sounded reasonable to me, hauled in the appropriate equipment and got to work. His attitude was refreshing. He enjoyed his job. The price they quoted - and eventually charged - was less than a third of what a "bait and switch" company I had contacted previously eventually quoted (after an initial diagnostic charge) about the same problem. I'm stickin' with these folks! read more

We'd used Drain Away twice, in 2012 and 2019, so when both of our bathroom sinks began to drain slowly, we called them up again as we were very pleased with their service and cost. To our surprise, they were able to fit us in the same day. The dispatcher gave us a two-hour window when the plumber would arrive. Sure enough, Brian called us at the top of that time period to say he was on his way. He took the time to chat with us to make sure he understood the problem, then he got all the proper tools from his truck and went to work. In about an hour, he had both drains unclogged and cleaned to our satisfaction. Brian was extremely personable and professional, and it was refreshing to encounter someone with such a positive attitude who takes pride in workmanship. That level of customer care is something we haven't see as much of these days. We are longtime customers of Drain Away and would recommend them highly. read more

Just called to make an appointment and discuss our needs. The guy that answers the phone may be the rudest person I've ever talked to while trying to give him business. Just horrible. read more

I called this morning at 8:15 AM and Brian was at my rural Lyons location well before the estimated 10 AM timeframe I was given. Excellent service and a great sense of humor to go with it. Brian knows what he is doing and quickly cleared the main line from house to septic tank. I couldn't ask for more! Thanks, Brian! read more

I've been a customer of Rex for twelve years now, and I think that fact says it all. I honestly don't know if he's got the best prices, because I've never even been tempted to use anyone else, because Rex has always been straight up with me and given me great service every single time. I've got a rental property that, truthfully, needs a new sewer lateral. That's a $15,000 dig job for somebody; Rex never once tried to "sell" me on doing that, he just makes sure to remind me once a year to do a pre-emptive cleaning, and so far things have worked out fine. Rex, and his team - who've been with him for years and years now - gets my highest recommendation. read more

Drain Away has been our go-to for years to clean out the roots from our sewer line. Brian was our Superhero this morning! Not only did I get service within two hours of calling, he was efficient and timely. He came with a smile and a kindness that was felt by my family including our pets. I would highly recommend Drain Away to anyone looking for help!!! read more

They know their stuff! They are quick and can tell you exactly what is wrong with your pluming!!! Niwot Real Estate

The guy at "dispatch" who i believe is Rex, was is extremely rude. I asked if it would be the same technician as it was the time before to which he told me he had no way to tell me who came last time. My appt was I set up for James to come this morning at 9am, which I was told was the first appt. setting it for the first appointment was to assure that we would be first and on time. When they hadn't arrived at 9:20, I called. Again the same gentlemen answered. He acted as if he had no record of my call from yesterday. Said he would have to call me right back. When he called back he said the technician was held up at his job earlier and would be late. This was the exact reason for setting the appointment for what I was made to belief to be the first appt. when I told the gentlemen this, he began to raise his voice to me saying that I was rude to him yesterday and that he is not my therapist. Not really sure where telling him I've had plumbing problems makes him my "therapist". read more

Rex is a professional and runs a plumbing business that reflects his skill and honest service. James and Brian are his well chosen employees that fulfill his professional goals. They are a team to trust and recommend to others. I will call them in the future. "Rex will tell you how much it costs over the phone." read more

Called for an appointment because my associate had called earlier in the week and when I called a week later, Rex had no idea what I was talking about. He was rude over the phone but I just went ahead and made the appointment anyway. He said that he would call me the night before the appointment to confirm again, but I never got a call. Too bad Rex doesn't know anything about customer service or phone etiquette because I'm guessing that the real technicians are probably pretty good but I'll never know as he never called back and I am moving on. read more

The owner is rude and doesn't know how to run a business. Unless he thinks hanging up on people is appropriate. Don't use them.

Just moved into a new (to us) house and the laundry drain backed up during our 1st load of laundry. Called drain away and the had someone out within 2 hours on a Saturday evening. James snaked the line quickly and was out of the house in about an hour. Unfortunately the next day a utility sink backed up so I had to call them back. It was Sunday so they couldn't come back till Monday morning but they came back and snaked again, twice, free of charge. I really appreciate them coming back for free. Fingers crossed they got it this time. read more

Great service at a fair price and no upselling for services not needed! We have used Drain Away for main line rooting and called for help when our aged hot water heater failed and needed to be replaced. We are loving our new Rheem water heater and will use these guys for all our plumbing needs. read more

Update: Camera guy came out. Determined the snaking had not been done properly (as we suspected). Called another company to come snake the pipes. Pipes have been working fine now for several months. Called Drain Away back and asked for a refund for the botched snake job. He refused. We filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The BBB accepted our complaint and asked Drain Away for a response. THEY REFUSED TO RESPOND! The BBB tried twice with no response. Now deciding if we should pursue legal action. Why wouldn't they just refund the cost of the bad snake job? Wouldn't you expect that from a reputable company? I wish I could give them negative stars. read more

Drain Away worked on our floor drain line (was clogged.) Brian did a FANTASTIC job!!!! Don't hesitate to hire this company. Cost was very reasonable. read more

Quick, friendly, and cost-effective service. I'll be calling them again to replace sinks and toilets. Thanks for the quick response!!

I had a line blockage which I knew was most likely caused by tree roots. After having another company tell me my blockage was most likely caused by the "old style" plumbing in my 100+ year old house and that they would need to repipe the entire house for $$$, I called Rex at Drain Away. Rex was able to send James out to my house the next day. James confirmed that I did, in fact, have tree roots growing into my sewer line causing a blockage. He was able to clear the blockage for a VERY manageable price and service was prompt, to the point, and well executed. I am very happy with Rex, James, and Drain Away's service. read more

A business should never hang up on elderly or handicapped because they didn't care for that person's attitude and refuse service. Never have I had poor business conversations. May have been a bad day, but this shouldn't be taken out on customers! read more

Rex and his team at Drain Away are WONDERFUL. I found myself in the midst of a plumbing emergency on a Saturday (the day after Christmas!!). Rex had a plumber (thanks, Russ!) at my house within an hour and both of them talked me through the problem and the solution. They were honest, kind and fair-priced. Russ worked diligently and professionally to install a clean out on one of the coldest days of the year. I'm thrilled and whole-heartedly recommend this company. read more

Drain Away works. I had another company come to our house 3 months ago and the got the first block out but didn't finish the job. Today Brian came to the house and worked on the issue until it was fixed, all while telling me what he was doing. I learned a lot and had confidence that he found the problem and fixed it for good. read more

I called last night after 7 pm; they showed up next morning at 9 am. My kitchen sink was backed up and leaking in basement. They used the snake and unclogged in 15 minutes. They gave me some basic maintenance advice to help prevent future clogs. I've never been so eager to do dishes. I read all the reviews and decided to call them first. I'm glad I did. Pricing was average and is posted on their website to compare. I will use them in the future. read more

Called a few of the bigger companies and couldn't get a straight price over the phone. Drain Away quoted over the phone and stuck to the price once the job was done. Jason did a excellent job and the tub, toilet, shower, etc haven't flowed this good in years. He cleaned any mess that was made and was very efficient. After the upstairs toilet was snaked water flowed fine and Jason packed up and left.... then that I discovered that the upstairs snaking had clogged the basement. I called and he was back 15 min later to snake the basement, and everything drained perfectly. I will definitely call them the next time I have a problem. read more

Brain worked on a clogged drain that to my knowledge has never been worked on before. He did a great job, arriving on a Sunday morning at 9:00 AM. Drain-Away gave me a price beforehand on the phone, which another major company would not do. Brian was very courteous, considerate, and competent. You will be happy with their work. read more

I am very happy I chose Drain Away to help me with replacing my water heater. I called around 5:00 pm and Brian was able to come to my house that night to assess the problem. Within 24 hours I had a new, functioning water heater. It was a smooth process from start to finish and after having several not so great experiences with other companies in the past, it was a relief to know that I was finally in good hands. This is the first home I have ever owned and everything is a learning experience, but I would definitely use them again in the future if needed. read more

We have been using Drain Away for about 5 years now. They do a great job and I would highly recommend them. They are reliable, friendly and knowledgeable. A special thank you to Brian and Rex. read more
