Taro Milk Tea
Emily R.

Went here during the farmers market and it was crowded but the line moved very quickly. I got the Taro Milk Tea with boba and it was delicious. Very sweet, so definitely would save it for dessert. The boba were smaller than I expected but still good. Definitely would get again!

Lot of flavors to choose from! My daughter's favorite chocolate milk bubble tea. I always get the mango bubble tea. I get the regular size, but should probably get the large as I drink it quickly. Lots of fun things to look at and buy. They also have a nice rewards program where you can earn points for every purchase. There are usually two or three workers and service is usually fast. Seating areas are both inside and outside. Sadly, on our last visit, there was only one worker there and she was helping two people who had no idea what they wanted and had tons of questions. She never stopped long enough to greet us or even acknowledge we were there. She did stop helping the indecisive customers when a man with a delivery order came in. He went past me in line, told her he was there for the order, she made the order, and then went back to ignoring me. After being ignored for over ten minutes, I told my upset daughter we were leaving and started our quest to find another bubble tea spot. I haven't been back to Dragonfly Tea Zone since. I've also made no effort to reach out to management. These pictures are from a pleasant visit we had two months prior to this horrible experience.

My cousin likes this place a lot. So I have a rewards account because I take her quite a bit. This issue is not with this dragonfly tea location but the customer support. I emailed about my phone number changing and unable to access my account when I attempted to sign in. The response I was given by Doug was "Do you mean your account or the rewards?" ....those are both the same thing, Doug..

Location: North Kansas city Ambiance: family oriented. They have very comfy seats on the back of the restaurants with board games available for anybody. Teas: one of the best that you can get in Kansas city. Just delicious Service: excellent

Original Milk Tea, Tiger Milk Tea, Nutella Milk Tea.

There was no one in the shop when we visited 30 minutes before close, so our drinks were out within minutes. There are plenty of options that look great on the menu to choose from. The Tiger Milk Tea is essentially Brown Sugar Milk Tea, which was a delicious drink. I forgot to adjust the sweetness, so it was super super sweet. The tapioca pearls were warm, with just the right consistency of soft vs chewy.

Amazing selection of teas to choose from !

Kyra was extra nice and she helped me and my sister pick out some delicious teas to try. Her customer service was 5 star and I love how she cares about the customers requests. The line was extra long so I tried to hurry with my order so could assist the next customer. I would definitely go back to see her and David!

Dragonfly is one on my favorite bubble tea franchises. This was my first time stopping in at the Englewood location. The staff was friendly and greeted me warmly. Service was fast, and I loved checking out all of the cool decor and items for sale while waiting on my tea. Overall I love the look and feel of this location, and will definitely be back in the future.

Boba, popping pearls, rolled ice cream, smoothies and crepes! A one stop shop for a refreshing beverage or treat to cool off in the summer time or if your my kids anytime of the year! The staff is super friendly and helpful with selections and recommendations on new items to try. The prices are amazing and reasonable. Tuesday's are 1/2 price original milk tea. Thursday's are 1/2 off Thai iced tea.

This place is welcoming and efficient. We didnt have to wait long and they were very helpful in explaining what was in the teas. The almond milk tea has a black tea base with soy creamer and almond milk with boba. The tea station was neat and self serve; its about $2.99 per oz of tea. They even have labels for the tea! I will definitely come back when im in town.

Englewood Road Location ! Always make great smoothies and PET FRIENDLY!!!!!!My dog was WELCOME! I wasn't incorrectly asked for service animal documentation. Always a great environment when I go in here and I have seen EVERY race of people working here very diverse ! Love it! They know what I order and want everytime and start making it as soon as I come through the door . Love it!

Original Milk Tea

This was the spot for me! I ordered Original Milk Tea which was delicious, and the interior was very inviting (what I mean by that is that there were a lot of tea products and lots of boba plushies). They had their own tea station, where you can get some loose leaf tea if you want to take a break from milk tea. Sadly it was closed due to COVID and I wanted to go back there and see what it was like. They also have DoorDash available, and one person there was there for that exact reason. Pretty sure that there were other online services, but if so, it wasn't obvious. The thing that I had the most trouble with is how many options there were on the menu. This means a boba for every person.

Boba Taro Milk Tea

I wrote this to the owner on Yelp he replied to my previous message but once I let him know about how terrible the boba drink I got read it and ignored it, just shows how much he cares just like the way they make the drinks. This is the message that was sent to him: Hi I want to point out that I was there literally about 5 minutes before closing I got a Dragon fruit drink with dragon fruit pudding and I can tell you it was literally the worst drink I have ever tasted in my life. The amount of syrup was ridiculous literally had about 2-3inches of syrup I'm not sure if the girl was new or she really wanted to leave but it was disgusting. Honestly I'm very disappointed in the taste I literally threw the drink away..

The top of the water fridge is dusty and dirty. It's right next to the trash can that is covered in a keychain display

I've been coming here on and off for years. I've never had an issue with the drinks BUT I always order them with less sweetened and light ice. My biggest complaint is the cleanliness and cluttered nature of the place. The pictures I took are of the area between the counter and the trash can and of the top of the small water fridge next to the trash can. The wall between the trash and counter is covered with leftover spilled drinks, the floor in the corner is disgusting and the ledge all along the bottom of the front of the counter is so dirty. None of that looks like it's been cleaning in months, if not longer. The counter above this spot has the machine that puts the sealed top on the bubble teas. Under the machine is gross with spilled drinks and what looked like dead gnats. The top of the trash can is very cluttered with keychains for sale. Not sure anything should be on top of the trash can. The sink behind the counter is gross. Not sure if it's rust or built up food and drinks but it looks nasty. The top of the water fridge is gross. It's dusty and dirty. I don't even know why this fridge is needed. If they want to sell water, have customers ask for it at the counter. The whole store is too cluttered with stuff they want to sell like keychains, stuffed animals, etc. There's just too much stuff sitting there collecting dirt and dust. This whole place needs a big de-cluttering and major scrub down.

Boba tea here is ok. Boba could be hard at times but there are better options. They do have good desserts here.

It was quite busy when we stopped in nevertheless the staff was very friendly and happy to let us sample flavors before ordering, which I appreciated. The one thing that really stood out was the price ... and not in a good way. We paid $16 for two scoops of ice cream, which felt pretty outrageous for what we got. I truly enjoy supporting local businesses, and I understand that rising costs and high rent can play a role, but it still didn't feel worth it. I didn't rate them too low based on that because they're doing a great job! If you're going for the atmosphere and experience, it could be a fun stop. But if you're thinking about value for money, it may come across as a bit underwhelming.

*SUGAR FREE ICE CREAM AVAILABLE HERE YAAAY!*I got to know about Alice Coopers and their delicious…read moreice creams during the Yelp Halloween party. However, the main thing that caught my immediate interest was their sugarfree/keto ice cream (they have one flavor a month) because I'm a diabetic and always on the lookout for sweets with no sugar, and Alice Coopers is honestly one of the very few places in the metro that offers it. Also, my husband is a hardcore rock music lover and so am I (because of him haha), so just hearing the name of the shop already had us excited. It's obviously named after the famous hard rock singer, and the minute we walked in few days back, we loved the whole hard rock band theme around the shop. They have themed Sundaes like Slipknot Sundae, Metallica Sundae and many of the ice cream flavors are named after famous songs. That was a total win for both of us. We instantly became huge fans and will definitely come back to Alice Coopers for our ice cream cravingssss going forward. During this first visit of ours we tried their keto icecream. The flavor of the month was called 'Pecan Sticky Bun' and I got mine with a low-sugar ice cream cone and my husband got the same flavor but as a shake, topped with cream and a cherry. Heyyyy, what else do you need in lifeeee? I was genuinely so happy that I could enjoy ice cream guilt free for once. The shop itself was very cute and decorated with Christmas items. There was an electric fireplace and a small seating area next to a graffiti wall. The ice creams were neatly displayed and the shop overall was very clean and well maintained. The service was good too, and the prices were reasonable. One scoop in a low sugar cone along with a regular size shake came to around $13+. The shop is located inside the beautiful Briarcliff Mall, and the surrounding area is lovely with so many great shops. Grabbing an ice cream here and taking a stroll around the mall afterward honestly feels like the perfect way to end an evening.

My local friend mentioned Thou Mayest as an opportunity to sit for a bit without having to eat. I was looking at their non-coffee options and saw they had a local kombucha on tap, perfect to help with my overstuffed belly. On top of that I did buy a bag of beans; just because I don't drink coffee meant that I didn't have people that enjoy it. More importantly, the kombucha was pretty good and it was nice to sit and relax a little in a pretty cool space. My friend and I had a large space to ourselves near the front hangout area that was like a cross between a outdoor camping space.

Now, I also must say that I don't come at the "normal coffee time" but, I have been in the mid-morning and early afternoon and there's never a line. Besides the fabulous people who make the coffees (most of who are teenagers but, that doesn't matter to me when the drinks are executed well and when the attitudes of employees are so optimistic) the coffee itself is creative and tasty. I love the special flavors Scooters pumps out and the fun collaborations they do. I've tried drinks from the Candy Land collection as well as a Lucky Charms latte and most recently a Little Debbie Oatmeal Pie latte, all were delicious. But, if you're not a fan of sweet coffee then I wouldn't recommend some of their special flavors. However, they have a variety of sugar free options. For fall, the oatmeal pie latte was a perfect cozy drink that evoked a childhood memory of a lunchbox favorite and came topped with a teeny tiny mini chewy oatmeal cookie (how freaking cute is that?). The Grandma Nut Latte, from the candy land collab was flavorful and the nutty toasty flavor paired well with the coffee. The Lucky Charms latte was a flavor explosion of marshmallow sugary goodness and definitely reminded me of a bowl of cereal milk swirled with coffee, of course it was topped with a sprinkling of the magically delicious cereal itself. Also, the pumpkin pie cheesecake bites were divine, very sweet but the coldness of the inside paired with the thick layer of the outer white chocolate shell played on two textures, creamy and soft with crunchy. It was quite a nice experience. Other than that fall treat I haven't tried any more food from Scooters but, I'm definitely game to try some of their savory options the next time I'm grabbing a drink.
